Yes there's a high chance you did (think I've posted it sometime ago). Basically what I mean is the way Naruto always tries to see himself and his former situation (being alone and all that) in everyone else. It was so obvious during one of the filler arcs when he and some others met a kid living in the forest named Yota (I think that was the name). Anyways, I understand you're a pretty die hard fan of Naruto (been seeing you post stuff related to Naruto here and there) so I won't enter an argument whether the show as a whole is good or bad. It was just this one instance with Naruto and his ways of always trying to relate to the antagonist/whoever it is. |

Kirito from Sword Art Online In this very first episode he made it clear he was not "the good guy" and that he will do anything to clear the game. Which got me hype for the show.. And then every episode after that he played the stereotypical selfless hero, kind of bummed me out. |

I'm not looking for an argument, and certainly not a one about whether the show is good or bad from this. I just got curious on what you meant by that. I still don't really understand it, because for one, I don't watch filler and two, I don't think relating to the antagonist is what white knighting is. Do you mean like he is an idealist or something? |

Well I might be using the words wrong here, but for me a white knight is someone who always tries to be the good guy and who also always tries to see the good in everything. Did that clear things up a bit? If not, why not watch the filler arc I was talking about and see if that helped. |

Ichigo. He was cool during the first 80(?) episodes of bleach or how long it took to save Rukia. he got unbearable for me after he started intervening the fights of his hollow. or rather it started to get annoying for me at that point. it was only really unbearable after he got depressive about it on top of that(should be around when ulquiorra and yami first come to the human world). only got worse for me after that. I'm happy about any minute bleach without him or when he's unconscious (for example when he transforms into a real hollow to save orihime and ishida. that was epic as fuck. like all of his "instinct-hollow" performances). and tbh I was surprised he was able to finish that fight. I was expecting him breaking free again right before the finishing blow like he always did. it wasn't even fun to see him getting beat up by ulquiorra. he should have finished ichigo faster so that the show could progress earlier and to the more interesting fights. |

Wave (Akame ga Kiru) He "developed" from comic relief into a generic battle shounen protagonist. It's more of a death flag than actual development though. |

Thread Cleaned Please keep in mind, quote chaining (+1ing) is against the forum rules and will be removed without warning. If you do this multiple times, you may be warned. School Days I thought it was great, first time seeing a romance anime actually take it to the bed without it being hentai. He then had to go use his super player powers and take it to the bed with ALL the girls.... sigh. High School DxD COOL an MC who loves boobs and ecchi, we don't get these all the time. and I now know why, there perverted antics get really annoying very quickly. Yes we understand you like boobs, but should hearing the idea of your presidents bust going down half in size give you more motivation than possibly losing the city? Naruto yooo Sasuke was awesome, he was like a super cool back when I was an anime noob. I mean his lion kick thing he copied from Lee during the Chunin exam was hype! but now, we get this Sasuke who is an asshole to everyone and makes me cringe... pls don't be hokage. |

Honestly, not really a huge change to a dislike but a few minor changes in the way I view the character, such as Euphemia from Geass, the more and more she was on the anime the more I seemed to not like her as much. Then like the normal Geass story they end up dying anyway. |

Aye, too many to name, but the most known ones I guess would be: Misaka (Index/Railgun) becus I just don't like her kind of tsundere, and the best thing about her were the Sisters. Mikasa (AoT) becus she cut her hair. Senjougahara (Monogatari) becus she cut her hair. Asuna (SAO) becus we all know why. And certain characters that repeat certain lines that are annoying. Damn these are dumb reasons. Mod Edit: Added spoiler tags; please hide plot details. |

Definitely Yuki from Noragami. Started off interesting but he became increasingly annoying after episode 4 or 5, up to the point that he became the biggest gripe with the show for me. |

I want to say Asuna from SAO, but her problems can't really be blamed on her since the author just decided to force mediocrity on her. Yura from Stella C3-bu: I didn't necessarily dislike her, but it became extremely uncomfortable to watch her as things progressed. I think it was because her development was handled so well that she became an infuriating character. |

The first person to pop in my head was Naruto. My opinion of him is in the spoiler below. Some may not view him as such, but he got annoying. Some spoilers as well. He started out okay, but as the story progressed, the more naive he appeared. He thinks he can change everything by talking (which he was able to do, somehow) and being friendly to everything... He knew nothing of the ninja world he is in yet he spoke as if he did. Example: His TnJ(talk no jutsu) against Nagato, wth did Naruto know about war, or anything Nagato went through? He had no right to lecture him. And don't even get me started on his unhealthy obsession with Sasuke... It is absolutely pathetic and disgusting how far he would go for Sasuke. And I often questioned his sexuality throughout shippuden. It's just not natural to be so obsessed with a person that cared nothing for you, a guy no less. It went beyond that of only thinking him as a best friend/brother, he chased him as if he was his long lost lover... ^May be a rant, but Naruto's character made me a little salty with all the decisions he made. Kinda lost respect for him throughout shippuden. |

fairy tail natsu- i never really liked him but he gets super annoying as the story goes lucy- she's worse than sakura gajeel- he was supper cool than he became natsu. naruto naruto i liked him until shippuden now all he talks about sasuke. and sometimes sasuke he does really retarded stuff jojo's bizarre adventure jotaro main reason to never make a badass a main character hunter x hunter 2011 killuia- in the recent arc it's like he switched personalities with gon i could go on but then id start a argument. Liked Tatsuya Shiba from Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei because he was a charming motherfucker in the first couple episodes. He was the reason I wanted to keep watching the show. This one for me was easy, would have to be Lenalee from D. Gray-man. When she first started out I absolutely adored her. She fit right in with the male leads , held her own and seemed to be quite independent. I loved the fact that she seemed MORE than just everyone's love interest.... THEN... she ended up losing her powers and became the WORST Mary Sue. I am not quite sure what happened and it wasn't the fact that she was suddenly "useless". Suddenly all the guys were in love with her. She was suddenly the most tragic, even though the others in many ways had it worst. They kept talking about what a STRONG woman she was , then she would be bawling her eyes out for this or that reason. It got to a point as much as I loved the anime and manga I almost dropped them. I had really liked her at the beginning too, until it became a reverse harem :\ |
