AHAHA, mannn, I don't think I'll ever get sick of Luffy. And haha Sanji the love cook. I'd love to invite them all everytime I held a party.

not only does Nami have insane stealing ability, she can apparently jump with the best of them as well (on her insane jump from the shore to the ship).

This. It felt unnecessary after the problems being solved in the previous episode, but it managed to be a funny and emotional episode that served perfectly as a conclusion. That Nami stealing the wallets is probably the best ending this arc could have.

On other questions, I was truly amazed by these episodes. The series has improved a lot in this time in its exposition of emotions, something that I found a little flawed in previous arcs. This arc did everything so well it's difficult to believe, and there are some moments that are truly worthy. Maybe my only con at this point is that I still find it annoying that the villains are too discursive (it was a nice take on racism, but I didn't like how the message was highlighted again and again in Arlong's comments), but I guess this comes with the genre.

Pretty unlikely that Nami would have a chance to jump on the boat. In all likelihood the ship was already 50 to 60 meters away from the dock. Not very realistic at all. Pretty mean of Nami to steal all those wallets. What if there were people that kept lots of money in their wallets for rent or food? Now they can't pay for it. Also I'm curious to know how the show is going to explain Bellamere reappearing in the house. So far there hasn't been any elements of magic or spirits in the show so maybe that will be addressed in the next arc.

1. this is one piece, don't take things seriously
2. Nami stole their wallets so that it's going to be easier for her to leave the island (not get too emotional at the end)
3. I'm pretty sure that 100 million berries is worth a lot more than what they lost

Nice way to finish the arc, it was a little dragged at some part, but I'm missing this amount of emotion from post timeskip.

An adorable episode. I like the message of "suffer so you can smile later, and smile an incredible amount when you do" a lot. That kid, and Gen had lots of words about this. A very feel good way to end off this beautiful arc.

I loved the ending. Nami stole the wallets to show them that she can get by without the money as a cute way to say farewell. Of course they don't need their wallets they have her 100 million or whatever number of moneys it was! The way she left the money behind makes it look like she'll finally be reversing her greedy nature, at least to the extreme it was before Arlong went down, almost as if that scene completely contrasted her in the final scene of the Buggy arc. The scene where she didn't want to leave any money behind to help the destroyed town out. I also appreciated the inclusion of the tattoo being a mix of Beremere's orchard and Gens pin wheel, and the significance of him wearing it to make Nami smile. Even when she was that young he was concerned about protecting her smile. <3

What a freaking cute episode.

That was a great farewell~ They'd be pushing their luck if they expect that they'll keep their wallets after she left them nearly 100 million Beli and the spoils of Arlong Park. From Bellmere's last push to the pinwheel finally settling down, this episode had a lot of great emotional moments to end the arc on a high note.

A satisfying end to a wonderful arc.

It's truly remarkable that a few episodes I was getting annoyed at Nami over her greediness, and then we get to this episode where she steals everyone's wallets and I'm laughing, glad that she's finally part of the crew. I even knew it was coming because I've seen this all before and those were still my genuine reactions.

That is powerful storytelling, man.

I really liked what Bellemere said about smiling and being strong when things go bad, so good things can happen.

Fantastic episode.

This one (post-fight) episode was better than the previous ~5 (fight) episodes combined.

One Piece needs less boring fights and more great character building.

This series is pretty funny though. I gotta admit. Funny and - surprisingly - emotional.

This arc is definitely my favorite in the East Blue saga. Nami's new tattoo brings it full circle, going from a brand of bondage to a symbol of her true family. It's a very fitting way to kick off her new adventure as part of Luffy's crew.
