This episode featured Shuu's younger sister Motoko and I find her personality and scenes rather amusing. Even more, the sibling chemistry bought out a lot from both characters.

Also seems she likes Kitahura although he has more eyes on Shuu than her. Not going to lie, this episode made me feel more invested in Shuu's character, at least compared to the previous season.

About time we go over those skipped chapters of Shuu. This dude was one of those secondary characters like Sengoku we never saw much of in the original, except some segments here and there. Anyways, he may seem like a total airhead and one who could befriend anyone, but that’s his persona for the outside world lol.. at home, with his little sister, he’s like a total opposite.

Being an overprotective brother to his sister, I just liked how he didn’t waste any time to fly back home when he heard from his sister about a boy coming over the house, her supposed friend. Though the first meeting failed spectacularly, but lol it’s hilarious how that kid became more interested in Shuu rather than the sister who invited him. Motoko’s rage was understandable, but maybe she’d have to take a better look at her own brother’s charms, who might not have a girlfriend but still :)

Usual fun interactions aside, but I felt for Shuu there in the end, I mean his friends have already misunderstood everything from that something he just asked for learning different viewpoints back then lol.

Ah, an episode centered on Iura. I've always found Iura intriguing in the original series, and this episode certainly didn't disappoint when it came to delivering excellent content focused on him. In this particular installment of the missing pieces, we get a glimpse into Iura's family life as his younger sister, Motoko, reveals her affection for her classmate, Kitahara. As the protective older brother, Iura doesn't seem too thrilled about this newfound romance and treats Kitahara with a cold and distant attitude. Surprisingly, though, it appears that Kitahara has developed a sort of admiration for Iura despite the chilly reception.

As is customary for this show, the humor carries once again, and CloverWorks make these over-the-top exaggeration into the characters, adding to the humor. The banter between Iura and Motoko while playfully wielding fake katanas was quite halirous I can't lie. I can't help but look forward to seeing if Motoko and Kitahara will make more appearances in future episodes. I would find it quite amusing to see Iura's reactions as they grow closer.. There's just something captivating about his character that keeps me hooked

The life of a big brother.
And a big brother that makes things more complicated than they actually need to be which was funny in a way.
Anyway the sword part was nice tho i wonder why you would have swords lying around and even use them.
Well things worked out somehow i guess,

So this is Shu's younger sister. English sure proved merciless to them lol. The poor classmate though coming face to face with Shu and his sis swords drawn. Amusing in that Shu managed to turn things that much with his antics. Not to mention dug a pretty large hole for himself. Yuki sure had her troupe shattered by Shu. I'll be so embarassed if i thought i was late but i was actually early thats for sure. Shu's got some explaining to do to his friends thats for sure. Overall a fun ep that provided some nice focus on Shu's family and his bond with his sis as well.

I'm having a great time watching this series, and not gonna lie, seeing all these slice of life moments might even be more enjoyable than the original series, which makes me frustrated that it wasn't in there, would have made the original series so much better. I don't remember Horimiya being this funny, and Missing Pieces is really elevating my feelings of the series as a whole, love these side character interactions and stories.

A completely Iura focused episode! Showcasing some hilarious banter between Shu and his younger sister Motoko. The long scene to begin the episode with them discussing one of her classmates Kitahara coming over was hilarious. Shu and Motoko banter like no ones business, like true siblings assuming the craziest things about one another. Shu getting super protective over Motoko inviting a boy classmate over even just to study. Motoko was trying to he super nonchalant about him showing up but Shu wasn't having it. Once the dude got there it became even funnier. With this Kitahara kid becoming totally enamored with Shu. That was the weirdest part of the episode but also the funniest. Kitahara barely paying attention to Motoko after he seen how cool Shu is. Whom himself doesn't know what to do about Kitahara affection, made all the better by Kitahara coming to the high school with other prospective middle schoolers. Shu desperately trying to stay hidden but everyone calling him out. They all thought it was hilarious too making fun of Shu for stealing away the guy his little sister likes.

I finally get to see A LOT of Iura in this episode!
That's why I sincerely dislike the original for skipping these... sigh.

That overreaction of Iura because of his overprotection for his little sister was finally adapted adorably (I can relate to his character).

I'm satisfied, he finally got more character development from Piece.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Shu is back with a dedicated episode and I am ALL FOR IT. Had me laughing the entire way through from the facial expression to his chemistry with the other characters, I'm also glad we got to see more of Motoko and her interactions with big brother. It's very entertaining and relatable, plus it brings them out a little more like Shu's protective side. Shu's VA did a great job this episode, I feel him.

Kitahara opening the door to see Motoko and Shu in a dual is funny as hell, wonder what they did before with those same swords. I'm happy to see Detective Hori and Miyamura as a transition panel, think they'll make a good pair at solving crime? The bit when they all were "late" for school and all had something light like a piece of bread or onigiri is hilarious, especially the shock they all had when they realized they were actually early.

Also free my man Shu from all the teasing, #FreeShu.
I almost forgot about this weeks episode since I was busy finishing Eizouken so woopsy. Anyway, great episode and very funny, enjoy your saturday everyone.

So Shuu's little sister, Mokoto, has a crush on a boy. But the boy seems to have something for Shuu now.
And at that time there is an open-door day and that's where they meet again..

New episode, new page or pages that got filled.

This episode surrounded around Motoko & Shuu. Motoko wants to bring someone over from her class for a study session but Shuu is against it lol. Kitahara find her brother super cool so he comes by like a lot. Motoko is now in despair that Motoko isn't interested in her but in Shuu. Shuu then tells the gang that Motoko thinks that she isn't cute because of him. Shuu is late for school so he runs with a toast in his mouth but on the way he comes across Yuki, Tooru & Miyamura that are also running late, well they woke up for nothing in the morning because their classes start in the midday lmfao. Shuu comes across Kitahara again when Kitahara's school checks out their school and Shuu tries to hide but fails lol. The gang thinks that Shuu is in love with Kitahara omg haha.

Another hilarious episode, this time it was focused on Iura and his sister Motoko which I appreciate since they weren’t that prominent in the original show. I’m ngl, I wasn’t expecting Iura to steal Motoko’s crush Kitahara on accident lol, really wild scenario, I like to think it was more of an admiration thing but who knows really, it was still a funny situation, Motoko’s reactions were gold as well as when Iura was being teased by his classmates after that, gotta commend the VAs for that too.

I also really liked the play on the classic running to school with toast in your mouth thing, the fact they kept adding onto it was great, and then the punchline when they came to find out they were actually early for school lol. I’m glad they had that blunder tho, not only did we get that funny bit but also the Iura and Kitahara moment afterward since the middle schoolers were visiting that day, poor Iura couldn’t catch a break lol.

It's awesome and so cutie this episode !!

Finally, about time that we cover on the Iuras, about Shuu and his younger sister Motoko.

The two faces of Shuu both in school and at home, he is brutal to his sister Motoko of thinking that she likes this Kitahara, being the overprotective big brother. Sure enough, Kitakura comes over to see the siblings duke it out with their ancient swords, though he finds Shuu to be a rather inviting person...that despises him more and more. Motoko wants some lovey-dovey moments with him, though Shu is a rather large distraction. Back in school, this becomes a debate, but other than being misplaced for being a girl, the thing that Kitahara is into him, he's desperate for girls...and Sengoku lols.

Shuu being late for school, and the "running to school with toast" trope lives with him, though he meets Yoshikawa in the process. Add Ishikawa and Miyamura adding more food in their hands, being late is of no matter, though seeing Sengoku being late too...he's here for the student council meeting, and everyone came too early, because middle schoolers are having a campus tour around Katagiri High. But Shu finding Kitahara being a prospective student, Remi breaks the mold by calling his family name, which captures the attention of Kitahara. Of course, Shu wants Kitahara to run away, though the others like to have fun of him.

What a guilt-trip ride of Shu lols.
