| It just means middle, like average. It certainly become a buzz word but I think that's more due to some people taking it way to negatively. Like they hear someone say their favourite show is 'mid' and think its the same as it being called 'trash'. |

When a very hyped anime isn't good, people are going to be disappointed even if it is a bit better than bad (= mid). |
