 The pre-screening event for the special episode of Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) event announced a second anime season on Sunday.  The 23-episode first season produced by Studio Bind aired in split cours in Winter 2021 and Fall 2021. Funimation streamed the anime with subtitles and an English dub.Mushoku Tensei adapts Rifujin na Magonote's adventure fantasy light novel, which he penned on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website between November 2012 and April 2015. Kadokawa began printing the novel with illustrations by Sirotaka under its MF Books label in January 2014 and shipped the 25th volume on September 25 last year. Yuka Fujikawa began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Flapper magazine in May 2014. Kadokawa published the 16th volume last November. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga in English and published the 15th light novel volume on February 17, with the 16th volume scheduled to release on April 21. The 14th manga volume went on sale on February 15. Synopsis Despite being bullied, scorned, and oppressed all of his life, a 34-year-old shut-in still found the resolve to attempt something heroic—only for it to end in a tragic accident. But in a twist of fate, he awakens in another world as Rudeus Greyrat, starting life again as a baby born to two loving parents. Preserving his memories and knowledge from his previous life, Rudeus quickly adapts to his new environment. With the mind of a grown adult, he starts to display magical talent that exceeds all expectations, honing his skill with the help of a mage named Roxy Migurdia. Rudeus learns swordplay from his father, Paul, and meets Sylphiette, a girl his age who quickly becomes his closest friend. | It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
