Calling "guilty pleasure" anything you liked but the majority didn't is very wrong. I think it's fair to call guilty pleasure something that made you laugh out loud, even if it wasn't supposed to. For example, Kanojo mo Kanojo is a truly great comedy anime and not just a guilty pleasure to me, whereas Mahou Shoujo Site can be defined as my favorite guilty pleasure. |

| Plastic Memories comes to mind. Not necessarily badly written, just rather cheap. I mean with such a premise and a cute robot girl it's pretty easy to evoke emotions. Still gave it a 9 because I don't mind. |

| I'm not sure, because pretty much all my favorite anime aren't really written in a bad way, sure, there are some times that the story could be lacking (Naruto, Dororo, Psycho Pass, etc.) But it's not that I "simply enjoyed them and that's that" None of the entirety of my favorite anime have bad writing, just not 10/10 writing consistently all the time. But idk, I guess I found Akame ga Kill, Highschool DxD, Fairy Tail, and other 6/10 anime enjoyable. |

| JoJo is my favorite bad anime. The (first) villain was so bad he became popular archetype on otome (isekai) genre (coming from nowhere, taking everything mc has, has plot armor to survive until the very end). You mean bad(ass prick), yeah? No? Okay. |

| If all things fail in technicality and literary elements, then it should come down to personal enjoyment or guilty pleasure. Pretty much any shitshow that doesn't shy away from absurdity and can get extremely explicit at times when necessary has an appeal on me. Mostly schlock horror or eroguro, like Corpse Party and Wicked City. |

Some people separate "actually good" with "entertaining" (defining "good" is a whole different discussion, but the point is is that not everyone rates purely based on enjoyment).
