| SAO is really different breed in Japan, although most outsiders hate SAO but that doesn't change the fact that it's the most popular show in Japan. I'm glad some of my favorite anime like Oregairu, Re Zero and AOT are on the list. |

| I'm happy to see Steins;Gate, Fate, and Violet Evergarden on this list honestly I know Fate is huge in Japan but I didn't think Steins;Gate and especially Violet Evergarden would even be on this list. Also didn't Fate/Stay Night come out in like 2006 or is this Unlimited Blades Works they are referring too which I assume it is. Also I'm really surprised I don't see Demon Slayer on this list at all. |

I don't know either, but for Fate/stay night and Toaru majutusu no Index it looks like they took the whole series like unlimited blade words, Heaven Fells and Index 2 & Index 3. for Kimetsu no Yaiba I'm also surprised it's not on the list with Jujutsu Kaisen which is on the rise right now. if you are curious you can check it yourself in the link that I put in my first post. |

| Eva 3.0 aired in 2010s. I am not sure why many questioning this. And more obvious with Fate. Adaptations from ufotable technically made new wave of popularity. SAO is also the most popular anime OUTSIDE Japan. |

| If you take away the moe and slice of life anime on the list it is a pretty good list. I can`t believe people like Hyouka. Gochuumon is probably more so enjoyed by lolicons than for the content of thd anime. Guilty Crown is the worst non slice of life on the list. |

| I know for a fact this list is not legit, as Tiger & Bunny (released in 2011) in not on it, yet My Hero Academia is. T&B is one of the most popular anime over in Japan. Meanwhile, MHA is not nearly as popular there at it is in the west. I'm also fairly certain Sword Art Online, Attack on Titan are far less popular in Japan than they are in the west. So, yea, this list is highly suspect. But it was done on Twitter, so what do you expect? |
