| Wors genre??? I don't think there's such thing as worst genre unless most of the animes in that genre is awful/bad/mid, then it would be Harem. Repeating the same format over and over again I still do like 1-3 harem anime but comparing it to the other genre... yeah. |

| Probably Boys Love for me. Granted, there are a few titles I enjoyed from the genre like Given and Doukyuusei. But too many of them milk the old uke/ seme relationship dynamics that get uncomfortably close to pushing into rape territory. |

| The problem with BL is that it's not a genre about any kind of story involving gay boys/men, but rather something specifically made to appeal to fujoshi, with all the tropes this implies. Something like "Flee" (live action documentary/drama) wouldn't be considered BL if it were an anime. |

| @Absurdo_N I was thinking more about this and I guess I don't like bara/bl manga written by gay men. Most of the ones I saw were full of abuse and shotacon... man, it's just fiction, I know, but when a fujoshi girl makes a yaoi manga full of stuff like that I don't mind, but it's weird to read a manga written by a gay man that has a plot extremely similar to Shoujo Ramune for example... there must be some good baras, but most of the famous ones are full of questionable stuff... but bl written by girls is okay, bls written by straight men is also okay... I guess. |

| I dislike battle shonen. In theory there's nothing wrong with it but in practice not so much. The tropes of the genre really get on my nerves. Too much yelling, too much redundancy and I really hate when a character dies, the sad music kicks in, everyone cries as if the guy wont somehow be resurrected 3 episodes later. |

| The worst will be whatever genre you don't or refuse to watch. Maybe you watched one or a few in that genre out of curiosity and absolutely hated them. I'd think for most straight men, BL I imagine is the worst, because it's just not what appeals or attracts them. For straight women, maybe harem or anything which sexualizes girls/women. Then everything in between depending on which annoys you the most or you just don't care for it. |

Also battle shounen is not simply action - it has extra rules for howthose action scenes go (like power levels, tree of skills, the confrontations being in the form of duels ect.). Like all battle shounen is shounen action, but not all shounen with action is battle shounen. It's closer to sport shounen than a simple action. |
