| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- And we’re back, my boy Yamato’s here. Was always my favourite of the group growing up and his lone wolf personality is largely the same. Garurumon getting an HQ transformation isn’t surprising at all tbh. Wish they’d give a little more love to Birdramon’s transformation and the other side Digimon. Pretty funny episode with Joe and Mimi being used as diversions lol. Just feels so cool watching this series with updated visuals and animation, makes me feel like a kid again. Next episode’s preview was awesome, there’s gonna be some great stuff coming, can’t wait to learn more about the Holy Digimon as well. |

| omfg, Mimi's even more kawaii than the Fox Kids days not that thats saying much considering how hard Fox Kids butchered these shows XD despite being absolutely NOTHING like the original, im liking it so far, it'd be cool if there was a plot twist where these were the same Digimon but with reincarnated kids or something |

| The journey to the Holy Digimon continues in ever-growing treacherous paths, but not without the lone wolf Yamato and Gabumon, after the momentary split in the Digital World. Great to have this lone wolf back, even stronger from nostalgia, and with the evolved Garurumon that was already prefaced a while back. Well, the spineless Joe Kido and Mimi being impractical diversions, is that a decoy function or is that purely for laughs. Either way, the Chosen children advance ahead, and the rest is as they say, written in history and directed just like the Digimon Adventure of old. Things are only gonna get better from here on out, I wish this was certain. Next episode, more about the Holy Digimon. |

| I feel way to invested in just the binds between these characters. Probably a lot fo nostalgia talking but man it was so great seeing (most of) them together again and working as a team. Even have some character growth going on. Also Mimi braiding Ikkakumon's fur is so on brand for her that I love it |

| This has to be my favorite episode so far. It's such a joy to see everyone is useful and bonding with each other. I still have this iffy feeling that only Taichi and Yamato get an evolution sequence. So I guess only them and their siblings will have their own digivole sequence considering the anime hype the Holydigimon so much. When I saw Yamato's digivice glowed, i thought Garurumon would evolve into Weregarurumon and thought to myself "So soon?? WTH??" So glad it's just for power up and friendship effect |
| Yamato is back and he already acting like the lone wolf but this episode was all about team work. Yamato now knows the value of everyone working together. Looks like they got more clue of the holy digimon. |

| So Matt teams up with the rest of the kids to take on the fortress controlled by evil digimon. They were teasing another transformation for Matt's digimon, but they are going to save that for later. In the next episode we might see Agumon's ultimate form. |

Again not really focused on its "main character" for a "Yamato" episode, but at least the crest "boost" seemed right (though a bit fast again). 4/5 @FMmatron It's starting to be slightly fun ! even though all the characters seem to have bonded (twenty) years ago before what we are watching and noone gets decent attention. @Renkini Didn't you notice the first episodes and the ending? ^^" Renkini said: At least they'll have their megas this time. I wouldn't bet on that, despise the Holy War flashback. Also, I would prefer the characters and Digimon to be highlighted beyond simply getting their ultimate (who won't be relevant since Omegamon, a "super ultimate"-like, will get a role too). |

| Lol yeah, one-man Taichi show and one-man ED theme. Angel duo will have their usual OP status so I can live with that but I just have to comment how they shaft the other 4. Oh well, at least they'll have their megas this time. |

Actually, episode 10 title is "The Super Evolution of Steel". Personally I'll be a bit disappointed if they just jump from one level to another so quickly: the road leading to the Ultimate evolutions was compelling because it reflected their personal growth in their traits. And if the first arc villain is Devimon, he's at Champion level so I wonder how will they make him a challenge (he may evolve as well, of course). |

| So they finally let Biyomon digivolve on screen and skip it anyways - great ._. I'm already tired of the special treatment Yamato & Tai are getting and the series just started. At least the original show held out until the megas (and even then we got those in the PSP game & Tri). The episode was cool tho. I'm just really disappointed with the way they are treating all the other kids & their partner Digimon :/ |

| This episode was load of fun, with Matt, finally showing up. Joe surrendering scene is hilarious, I hope he grows pass that character trait. Mimi being girly girl and braiding Ikkakumon white fur, small details like this make my day, just like Joe burned up flag towel. Doesn't look like the enemy digimon were controlled. Just to bad we didn't hear any dialogue from them. They as a group, was overwhelming and had a field advantage, with the fortress on their side. Matt being edgy as usual, goes in solo by himself. Seem I was right that Matt being the next kid to get an stock animation for his partner digimon evolution scene. I like how Matt accept the help from the new kids and apologize for being to edgy. I hope Sora/Biyomon & the other children gets there own special stock evolution animation, but with the PREVIEWS on the rise, it looks |

| ....How on god's green Earth did Mimi and Jyou become the MVPs? I cannot believe I'm in a timeline where I've grown up with an anime where Mimi and Jyou are useless to a reboot where they're useful and the best characters in the anime. As for Yamato, I won't gush but I will say... his whole reveal is a total bishounen moment, all it was missing was sparkles and Taichi staring in awe. If this show can somehow bring back the age of bishounen, I would consider Double Colon a grand success. Is it just me or did Taichi seem more lively in this episode than the entirety of the last 3? All from just seeing Yamato. I wonder if Koushiro will get the same treatment. Maybe, if he ever gets TO the DW. | The scene where Yamato's digital device sparkled made me wonder if Garurumon would later digivolve into WereGarurumon lol.😂 And Yamato, on the whole, has been well portrayed so far in this new version. Now the story is more and more attractive to me! |

| omg nooooo not gabumon. Gabumon's dub voice is a crime. His OG voice was soo good, soothing and fitted him so well. That voice threw me wayyy off. |
