| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah, Iroha meets another person who could be of help. There's this eerie feeling about this episode with the amount of rumors and development. The visaul cinematography and unique art style of this show enhanced the experience. At least Iroha has allies she can trust on right now. Action is stylish as usual in the fight between the magical girls against those monsters. |

| w. the flyer, she met new girl w. magical power. Oh, so not just that girl, there's also other girls who got captured are back. Continues to search for main girl's sister. So she was given that flyer to Chinese style restaurant. lol @ score of 50. The new girl wanted to ask someone she know for information, and it was that blue hair girl. Rumor at a shrine? Then trying out collecting stamps. Trapping in past... Wow, the new girl is SO STRONG! The road opens at night? |

| Hmm not the first thing to expect upon entering a restaurant. Still its nice that all the students who vanished are now back with their families. Rena and Kaede's interactions after their ordeal sure was amusing. Tsuruno sure is quite the character excitable but also quite eager to learn how her food taste's to her customers. To Think that Tsuruno's master was Yachiyo though. The seance shrine rumour though sure sounds curious as way the tale of the tragic lovers. The witches dungeon appearing in a supermarket though was quite interesting. Though short the battle showed well Iroha's indecisiveness of being a magical girl as well as Tsuruno's ditsy nature in the pursuit of her duties. Overall an excellent ep that focused more on story advancement and character expansion of Iroha and Yachiyo and the intro of Tsuruno. The mystery of this shrine rumour though is pretty intriguing and even more so after seeing the results thus far. |

| The trysail trio are finally all together! Damn imagine going to Kroger for the free Friday specials and having to jump into a battle. Another masterful episode, man SHAFT's direction and cuts are just so perfect and add so much to every scene, I love it. Great job bringing the talking heads to life too. Episode's trending on Twitter rn too. |

| Iroha has been a solo magical girl always and it shows when she fought in this episode. Also she had activated connect in wrong way and it'll probably take some time to make better use of that magic. Also the 'Connect' technology is probably a homage to the OP of the original which is also titled Connect. Seeing the pattern, I'm sure we'll see atleast one magical girl cameo per episode. To me, the environment of Kamihama seems more realistic than Mitakihara. We always see people we may have something common with but never get to know them much. So Iroha meeting many magical girls doesn't seem strange but realistic. I know a lot of people in my batch by face and I know nothing about them (something I remember the name). I think it's about Iroha finding her sister and making friends, and it's going to be slice of life magical girl show rather than psychological horror. |

| With the second chapter on the way hopefully people finally realize how this series is being paced. No need to expect anything different. Glad to see them change from the game in positive ways. The director, art, visuals, and music are all hitting the right notes. I really cant believe we are getting something this good after the disaster that was fate extra |

| this episode dragged a bit for me. kinda feel like we're meeting too many characters too fast and it's hard for me to feel for many of them bc of it. both labyrinths were pretty cool, animation is consistently good, i just hope that it becomes more interesting than this and that maybe the stakes will raise so im more into it than i am right now. |

Way too many? at this moment we only have 3 of the 5 members still need to appear felicia and snaa, in this episode we have only 3 mahou shoujo Tsuruno, Yachiyo and Iroha around the city, the 2 girls that yell to iroha when she passed in front their school are just a cameo and we know Mitama, Rena, Kaede and Momoko from past episodes so everything its ok at this point |

| Another great episode. The mystery about the rumors is being worked out well, the presentation of the new magical girl Tsuruno is good, the pace is faster than the original series but still good, the direction is getting better in each episode and the look is amazing. I see no problem with the large number of magical girls being introduced as the presentation of the girls from the Momoko team was functional and the development of the Rena and Kaede conflict was good enough. In addition to the fact that it makes perfect sense to have many magical girls in Kamihama, as this is due to the large number of witches in the city. Everything is making sense, all the facts are being tied up, I'm not seeing anything happen randomly. I just can't understand how this anime can be rated so low. |

| Worst episode so far imo. Tsuruno and Yachiyo are nice, but too much time was spent with nothing happening. That fight with the witch at the supermarket felt like it was pulled out of nowhere and just didn't need to be there, and neither did the joke with Yachiyo needing the sale. It just cut the tension and atmosphere of the search for the shrine only for the characters to get back to it as if nothing happened. :^( |
| A bit of a boring episode. The new girl is ok, probably my least favorite so far though. Knowing Madoka, this is probably the calm before the storm. I don't think I will play the game until after the series has ended, spoilers are a big no no with this franchise. If episode 10 was spoilered for me in the original, it would have ruined the entire series. |

Even in other shows like fate/sn to fate/0. if people took the time to look at how he writes them they would realize that the OG madoka series virtually had no characters, just mouth pieces to move the plot along. The only character that had an interesting development on the OG was Sayaka bc her breakdown was pretty nice visually, but besides that everyone is very basic. I'd risk it and say that the tsundere with the blue hair whose name I don't remember rn has more character than Kyoko, Madoka, Homura and Mami. |
| A bit of a peaceful start of the episode with the introduction of a new girl, Tsuruno! She's pretty energetic! She also happens to know Yachiyo and they used to be friends? Either way, the 3 of them go and investigate more rumours that are lurking around. Most interesting is that this rumor is about being able to meet someone again from your past. Obviously for Iroha it would be Ui that she wants to see again. Episode was gorgeous as ever again! Next week looks to be interesting |

Homura has a full movie about her and a manga so she has lot of character development. So I'll agree about Mami and Kyoko. |

I did feel there was some tension with the day getting dark as Yachiyo told the story. Felt like it was building to some creepy moment but it just got cut off by poverty antics I agree that Homura is good with the movies and manga but I was talking about the OG series only. And you're right about Madoka it was just a slip-up I promise I'm not a heretic |

| Is it just me or the show is trash... i mean average, like the usual shaft show. its fine but not "really good" like the original madoka. i feel like its a big name flying with the wings of "art/animation" and the "music" nothing more. kind of disappointing. |

| enjoyed this episode. I like how Yachiyo suddenly wanted to go shopping at a discount. :D And I also like the twist where going back that large shrine is the key to the mystery. They only have to go there at night, instead of during the day. Impressed how Iroha was able eat all the chinese food Yui cooked. A girl with problem can eat a lot? just kidding xD hmm, about Mami. Well, she can come back or she could not come back. Does not matter to me. I'm already enjoying the interaction between the new girls. looking forward to next week! :) |
| It feels like they'd go for "mystery/rumor of the week" - only that it takes more than a week (few episodes for such an arc) ... which is not that interesting atm, imo. Background plot should have been picked up earlier instead of only vague hints. (I guess Ui's disappearence is connected to all the stuff happening and maybe even the source of it.) |
| Solid episode, the TrySail group is finally together now! Iroha sure can eat a ton, lol. 50% good despite that, right xD. I wish more restaurants would be as selfless. Kaede and Rena scenes were really cute this episode, it's very nice to see that they've made up. Loved the whole talk on the rumours and such too, there's something very wrong and I'm just loving how the direction is giving off this eerie vibe in relation. Lol @ that scene of Yachiyo-san shopping, time sales really are important when you're living independently I imagine. Tsuruno-chan is quite strong too, I'm impressed. Nice little twist there in the end, I had a feeling they were missing something vital and that was exactly it! Of course the lady from the myth would pray at nighttime. Yikes, sacrificing everyone on the castle though, that sure is some price. And Mifuyu? Interesting... Looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer to have a sneek-peek on Mami's investigation though. Meanwhile, things are getting rather interesting with the new cast so I'm looking forward to whatever's in store for us next! |

| I do think they need to slow down with introducing new girls. Each ep it is someone new and they need to bring them in more slowly I feel....so that I have time to really know who they are and whatever traits are associated with them |
| Well, Yui really took the term "beating the meat" to another level. XD Stupid joke aside, Yui's a very upbeat girl. She was very generous of giving Iroha such a big serving of food at her restaurant, but Iroha saying that the food was good, then giving it only a 50% rating was a bit unexpected. For me, at least a 65 - 70% would be considered to be good. =P The whole investigation into the Seance Shrine, along with Yachiyo, was pretty interesting. We did get to see some action later on in the supermarket, where Yui's magical abilities look flashy and powerful. Now that they've found the secret of the shrine itself, things have taken an interesting turn. Both Yachiyo and Iroha see, from their retrospective, "people" that they recognise, in Iroha's case, it's Ui. Since Iroha is still struggling to make an impact in her fighting skills against the witches so far, I hope the next episode will be her time to shine and finally improve her fighting skills. =) |

I find Yui to be far easier to remember than Tsuruno. I couldn't make up my mind until the 2nd episode whether to stick to Iroha or call her Tamaki instead. >.< Cheers for pointing that out to me, though. I'll stick with Tsuruno from now on. =D |
