| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I just love watching Toga and her little bit of expressions in this episode, especially when interacting with Twice. It's hard to take her seriously despite how dangerous she is. The battles featured Mirio kicking some ass but even he knows how dangerous Overhaul is. Gotta admire Mirio's fighting spirit though. He's there to prove what a hero is :o |

| I really hate it when there's so much emphasis on someone, build-up to get to know them, to create their character, everything, only for them to - end up being "disposable", basically. "Use" once, and that's all, they're gone. And I legit don't know whether this is the better case or the worse, being "only" his quirk, and not his life. x_x |
| I HAD GOOSEBUMPS THE WHOLE FIGHT. I was a little bit disappointed there was a picture slideshow at the end and not an epic fight. BUT NOW IT'S DEKUS TURN. I waited sooooo long for these two following episodes. I can't contain myself!! aaah |

| wtf, that great fight was shown in a slideshow manner how great would it have been, how powerful it have been if the studio decided to bring the old director back and animate that precious fight i am angry but the emotions were super high in this one 3/5 for not giving us proper animation |
| Oh boy this episode was over as soon as I started it, Lemillion hype!! Mirio really gave it his all even without his quirk and now it's Deku's turn to kick Overhaul's ass. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| A bit different from what I imagined, but at least not at Meliodas vs Escanor level. Midoriya appeared, save the day. I hope we get at least one great sakuga moments for the climax of the arc. |
| lol slideshow fight damn what happened to the sakuga but its not bad though although its not great either and obviously Mirio will get his quirk back somehow  |
| What an awesome episode, enjoyed it very much!! I love the scenes with Twice and Toga! That last shot of Deku before the preview is wallpaper worthy! |

| It was an honestly amazing episode, but somehow I expected an even better fight. People were hyping up this part so much, like this was gonna be such an intense battle. Well, it was great anyway. I'm expecting a lot from Deku VS Overhaul now. As others have mentioned, that slideshow at the end was not the best choice. That could've been an insane battle, like one at the level of Deku VS Muscular(which is the best fight of the entire anime IMO)... |

The author loves introducing a huge cast of characters every arc just to never use them again after said arc ends. |

| My heart was thumping like crazy from beginning to end. I loved it! Having that said tho, the episode wasn't as perfect as I hoped it to be. It felt rushed towards the end when Mirio's little backstory was skimmed through, and his desperate last stand at the end was reduced to a powerpoint presentation. I just hope anime onlys really felt for Mirio. I mean, think about it. He took down two bullets, went toe to toe with Chisaki (without his quirk even! No fear!), and in the end sacrificed his quirk. It's really heavy stuff. His quirk took absolute mastery to utilize, and without all the sheer determination and struggle he went through in his youth, he wouldn't have made it as far as he did. Those are the things I want people to take away from this episode that weren't emphasized enough. He gave up his dream, and confronted death in the eye. Nobody would have been able to achieve what he could with his effort, and ideals. All this rambling could probably give Izuku a run for his money though. |

The best animators went to mob psycho season 2. Like in 2016 when MHA season 1 came out. |

| I agree that there should've been more sakuga in this fight, but holy shit, the feels were on point. Mirio for Nr.1 ;_; Now it's your turn Deku. Edit: I hope they're going to do his fight justice. |

| Is it just me or was this episode pretty weak visually ? I mean the final clash was just a slide show and the animation in the entire episode was rather limited, also correct me if I m wrong, but did they reuse that shot of the glowing fist from the earlier seasons? |
| What an outstanding episode. This is probably the best episode so far in the entire anime. I can't wait for the next one. |

| Mad respect to Mirio, or Lemilion, this episode! Even going as far as to resist despite losing his quirk was really touching and his backstory coupled with that just made it all the more impactful imo. I've a feeling he'll eventually get his quirk back though over time. Chisaki fought really as well managing to withstand that ferocious attack but I feel like he could've pushed a bit more especially with the spikes which seemed to just about penetrate Mirio's body and not finish him off effectively. Mirio taking care of the two Hassais effortlessly at the start was awesome to watch as well, especially that scene of him dodging the bullet and knives and then going to the offense in a split second. Even the villian there praised Mirio in the end, he really fought his heart out. Meanwhile, Deku spotting the Hassai member and quickly taking care of him on the other hand was really cool too! I wonder what the League of Villains is up to during this eventful raid. Deku appearing last second there in the nick of the moment was freakin' lit, always a fan of these xD! Can't wait to see Deku vs. Overhaul up next! PV 5 promised we'll be seeing some fabulous animation in store so super hyped to see that! Next episode preview suggested something with the Nighteye couldn't predict Eri and Deku's futures so I'm curious to see what that's all about. I've to say the slideshow in the end there was indeed disappointing especially compared to the exhilarating fights we've had in this series in the past but it wasn't half bad so I'm not too ticked off honestly. Hopefully, we'll be seeing something special next week though! |

| The art was beautiful this episode, but the static images were genuinely concerning. The director's choice here actually felt more of a stopgap to the suspense occurring in the second half of the episode. |

| This is why Mirio is my favourite character in this show. His development and depth are all created perfectly to fit into the dynamic tone of MHA. I'm really excited to see what happens in his story next - hopefully he isn't disposed. |

| I am going to say something weird The "Animation" part is just a part of an "animated" show, not the most important one. If people only care about animation then there is no reason for this medium to exist, or to create interesting story/characters who actually *Blend* with the animation style Gintama doesn't have crazy animation, and it doesn't need it(Crazy Sakuga would ruin it) Am i trying to be defensive? No, i don't even think i am a huge fan of MHA, i am just tired of people whining about animation, from OPM S2 (negatively) to Demon Slayer(positively) Were S2 and S3 animated better? Yes Do i care? No What about the episode? Like always, i watch MHA for the writing, world building and storytelling And, like always, i liked all of it, Mirio is a great character and some consequences will be felt Animation wise? I thought it was good, especially the slideshow part, a quirkless guy shouldn't fight with cfazy flips or incredible action, he is just a normal dude, the most important part was the meaning behind it |
