DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- They're really not messing around with the fists and action this episode. Cool to see the Dominator at work again like the way it's supposed to be. The episode's case took an ugly turn with the people that got involved. Seems this season still has some oddball characters. The old woman with the smoke gave me the creeps. Plenty of drama this episode. |

| It's Nakamura-san's character and another member asking questions to the sport related. He believes he's more suitable than the idol candidate for having persistence from doing sport. Old officer seems to have a brother w. different mother working for sportman candidate. Brain is affecting the action? Ladies having afternoon tea and supporting the idol candidate, and that man who looks at what the teams do since last arc barged in. KajiKaji's character seeing vision again without Nakamura-san's character, and he felt unconscious w. eyes open. After waking up, he thinks there's something on idol candidate. There is someone else (a sportman) who stayed in the hotel where the victim did? Sudden attack. Little virtual thing saying the obvious is... Nakamura-san's character got one, but that guy died. Suwabe-san's character, who was once a sportman, suggested the place to investigate a transgender person, who develops sportmen and seems to be one who did him. That ramen was too large for KajiKaji's character, he got chubby so fast. Mamo's character has a father who is sick. "For survival"... There's problem on eyes for Nakamura-san's character's wife, and an old patient who waited impatiently seems to not trust foreigners. Step brother humiliated that old officer, which led Nakamura-san's character to punch him and added the crime number on him. It seems like Hanazawa-san's character recommended KajiKaji's character and their boss (Sakura-san's character) recommended Nakamura-san's character. Complex relations between the main two... His wife is mad at what Nakamura-san's character did. KajiKaji's character eating together. Then working out together. Nakamura-san's character aims to return soon and support KajiKaji's character. Another member from first two season. She became a journalist? |

| Another good episode. We get to learn more about the characters and the world which I all found really interesting. Glad to see Yayoi and it's just as I expected. She manged to clear her Hue (I guess she did?), which you could say was foreshadowed in a way back in season 1 if I remember correctly/ |

| Sooo for everyone who wanted Yayoi and/or worried about her then your pleas have been answered XD I like how this episode delve and characterize Arata and Kei more and also gives us glimpses of Shizuka who to me seems to be the true big bad. I also liked how Arata and Kei are seemingly growing on those two enforcers Irie and Todoroki which is nice. All in all I'm happy and the only thing I'm bummed about is another week to wait for this lmao. |

| This case is really taking too long, and dragged for no reason at all. But at least we got to know Kei and Arata's history, and why they partnered with each other. More importantly on the case, I'm interested to what Komiya is hiding, I don't think she did commit the murder though even if she can control her hue . The culprit might be someone outside the of the election, but I hardly think Yakushiji is involved, he's too obvious but I could be wrong though. Kei getting suspend for defending Tenma's honor was pretty decent from him, I bet the old man will change his opinion of him from now on. |

| fuck this show is good, like there hasnt been any amazing moments yet, but its so absurdly polished and the pacing is ridiculously good. Everytime I thought it was about to end it kept going cause there was so much detail happening in every scene and it really feels like it hasnt wasted any time. My biggest worry of the new cast being potentially underdeveloped has been alleviated completely with this episode as they've been developing the crew and their relationships simultaniosuly with the plot and its all just insanely well done and natural like we arent coming to a dead halt to give some character screentime, it helps that the more jovial atmosphere of the season makes the crew this time feel so much more instantly likable thanks to the goofier moments All the groundwork is here for this to be a legitimately great show if it follows through, we just need a satisfying overall plot. I think the best part about this is that this groundwork doesnt parallel to the first season at all and instead i standing on its own rather than chasing the past. The only thing I'm unsold on is the villain, I cant tell if its gonna be that one guy with the secretary or the gambler dude cause it feels like it might be going either or on it. lihle808 said: This case is really taking too long, and dragged for no reason at all. We will see but I'd argue its less that this case it taking long, and its more the first 2 episodes set a false expectation that this would be a case by case storyline, this current one feels like its just going to be the starting point for the overall plot of the series since its really highlighting stuff like the population's division over immigration and on top of that how this whole ordeal is tied into those 3 gamblers. |

| I find many similarities between this Season 3 and Babylon (another series which is still currently airing as well). I wonder if there is some kind of trend... Amazing episode as usual, as others have already pointed out. Even with the 48-minutes duration, it still feels short because of the enjoyment. Another character is returning to the party, but my memory doesn't serve me right. Seems like I really need to rewatch the first two seasons after all. |

| Yayoi is back! Finally. This is a really great episode. I really like how this episode focused more on the characters and the world-building. I'm starting to get really attached to the new characters. Would be a shame if they would just die soon eh. I can't wait to see how things will unfold. |

| Fantastic episode. The characters are really growing on me and finally some more world building. I have always wondered why the Sybilla system would tolerate zones without governance. The relation of Kei and Shindou is really bizzare. I wonder what Akane's intentions were at the time. Maybe this does also relate to why her hue got clouded enough to be interned. |

| This episode did an excellent job at getting me invested in Kei and Arata along with some splendid world building further fleshing out what Sybil Japan society looks like along with the consequences such a society has on the views of its people. I really enjoyed the little details like the characters (both the enforcer group and Kei & Arata) hanging out in their down time. We got some more intrigue concerning what could have happened with Akane, but once again this ep really did a solid job at getting me invested in the current cast particularly our 2 mains with their common connection to a murder case involving Kei’s brother and Arata’s dad. |

So far PP3 has been paralleling like real-life events and conflicts and showcasing how that translates to the absurdly underdeveloped worldbuilding this series has had prior to this. I feel like in this episode alone we learned so much more about civilian life, the different parts of the city and who lives in them, how politics work and how its driven by hues, and so on. I dont think at any point in this episode or the past 2 it would of benefited from some dude showing up and going "yo bro you ever read franz kafka?" Like that would of really distracted from the more interesting stuff like explaining how immigration is both used as a form of fear mongering by opponents of it but on the flip side proponents of it are only in support as a way of exploiting labor, unlike the philosophy this isnt some one off mention of existentialism, this is like the actual plot of the overall work and is reflected on the character's circumstances with one of our protagonists basically having the seeds of his downfall planted. |

Agree to disagree. While the first season skimped on the worldbuilding, what worldbuilding there was was intricately connected to the main themes, ideologies and philosophies of the plot, which was written extremely tightly. In other words, the world itself was made as a thought experiment specifically to illustrate and explore those themes, nothing more. That was all that it needed to be and it succeeded beautifully. Here, while we do get more worldbuilding, it doesn't feel like it has leveraged the fact that it's been taking place in the world of Psycho-Pass at all. Themes of immigration, communal segregation, discrimination, etc... have already been explored extensively in other shows like Ghost in the Shell to similar effect. As-is, Season 3 has yet to set itself apart from what other series have already done in the past. Psycho-Pass had a unique identity and that identity is premised heavily on exploring its setting through the lens of philosophy and human psychology. So, while it may be doing a good job in other areas, it doesn't feel like it needs to be called Psycho-Pass. That may change in the future as the main antagonists reveal themselves, of course. |

| Loving the animation and color palette of this series. Everything in their futuristic city is well detailed that I'm so drawn to their. atmosphere. And I really like the character of that big guy, Yakushiji. He seems very honest and cares for everyone. And looks like All Might. I want him to win the election. XD I thought the goatee guy Irie is gonna be salty & annoying in this show. But not at all, he's actually helpful and his character is really fun to watch. And that smoking ex-woman's design is hella dope. The murder is pretty brutual though. Stomping the guy, damn. All the characters seem realistic. Tenma guy is getting insulted so much. And I like how Kei is defending him. My favorite part in this ep is Kei and his wife's relationship. They are very respectful, understanding and kind to each other. It's very heartwarming to see them. ^^ |

| This was a great episode. The fight scene really kicked it up for me. Was also good to see more character developments for everyone, including the enforcers. And Yayoi is back too. Still confused what Bifrost and Roundrobin are but it looks like they're the antagonists. Doesn't seem to really be a theme questioning Sibyl's morality this time like in S1 and S2. Maybe it'll become clearer when we get a better understanding of the relationships between Kei/Arata and Akane. Though in general the themes are a bit more grounded to reality and furthering the worldbuilding. |

| I've been liking the season so far, but couldn't really get into it, until this episode! I feel like they really started to flesh out the characters instead of relying on their gimmicks. Can't wait to see where this all leads, and I hope we get more interactions like the ones we've seen in this episode! I will say, though, that I'm not a fan of the "evil trio" we keep seeing. I don't like the thought of just a few individuals pulling the strings in the shadows, if that's where this is going... The brilliance of season 1 was that the real villain was the whole of society and its systems, that created unfair situations, stifling lives and extremes like Makishima. To fix that and reach a happy ending, you didn't just have a bad guy to defeat, you had to somehow find a way to change a whole thought system and way of life. If the issue here is just a bunch of evil dudes, that completely goes against that idea, it suggests the system works fine, you just have to take care of a few bad apples. I really hope that's not the direction the anime will take :c |
