| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ha, this show seems to like teasing Tamaki. Shrina should maybe keep his hands to himself lul Competition is still pretty high among all the members. I found this episode pretty amusing thanks to Tamaki tbh. However, that Joker guy is no joke when it comes to abilities. Tamaki still has room for improvement. Great animation as usual. (except the censored part) |

| Lol at that fanservicey chick. I bet she is going to join Company 8 later on. So, the competition was overshadowed by that Joker guy. The episode looked good though I heard that they edited some stuff due to the Kyoani incident. Didn't notice anything though. Probably, the manga-readers could help here. |

| The censorship is minimal at best, so not so much of a put-off. Did they alter anything besides the flames, seems to be minimal at best or did I miss something? I do understand the need to do it, but such unfortunate timing. Tamaki has finally made her appearance, though she is very unfortunate. Her "unfortunate moments" are toned down, and I found it a little funny. Seems like the Fire Force is not exactly without dubious motives. I can't wait to see where this goes and for Shinra to finally get his answers. |

| I find Shinra's smile to be kinda creepy. So Tamaki finally makes an appearance. That Joker guy seems like a tough opponent. |

| Hmm so it seems that the main villain finally shows up. Though he's not as i expected him to be i guess. He's more normal than i expected. Lol Tamaki's intro into the show. Maki actually looks nice in her uniform. Though her taste sure is questionable in regards to the mascots. Shinra just can't avoid getting into kinky situations when with Tamaki huh. Hmm so the enemy's ability is to create explosions via ashes. Great use of cigs there. A solid ep that while doing well in introducing the main villains also served well to introduce the character of Tamaki and her captain. The expansion into the story was quite interesting as well and it seems that fire force is more complicated of an organisation than i expected. The revelation of the 8th being the one that investigates the other squads though was by far the most unexpected. |

| This episode was straight garbo. It's been a while since I've had antagonists and plot be forced down my throat, thanks Fire Force. Already our antagonist shows up and reads a short paragraph that summarizes to: "Join the dark side Shinra and I'll tell you about your brother," but hey at least he looks sort of threatening. Also we get introduced to Tamaki who's introduction is literally just Maki, but worse. The only thing this show has going for it is it's world building. The characters are bland, the interactions are REALLY stilted and awkward, and the plot is extremely rushed. I want this show to be good, I really do, but I don't think we're going to get that. Here's hoping the later episodes are better. Now that I watch this episode, I'm really glad they censored a good portion of it as it was quite provocative towards the Kyoani fire, better safe than sorry. |

| Firstly, I’d like to thank David Productions for taking the delay and then toning down some of the fire-related scenes in light of the recent KyoAni Arson attack. At best, I’d say the toning down of certain scenes was minimal but I hope the changes to Storyline won’t affect too much in the long run. Also, that ED scene with the uncensored bit for some reason was creepier to me, did anyone feel the same? Anyway, on to the episode, Tamaki makes her debut and she seems quite amusing on first glance. I can’t comprehend why she’d dress up as such if she’s prone to lechery though xD, and those comic reliefs were pretty hilarious. Hopefully, they don’t start getting dull though. Lol @ that conversation with the Knight-King Samurai in that awkward position, that was a pretty ridiculous convo. Our main villain (?), on the other hand, has showed up and he’s clearly not up to good. Sharing vital info about his brother like that and then going on to making him doubt about the Fire Force, I wonder what his game is about. Looks like the Capn. is on the villians’ cards too. Fairly good action scenes but the animation remains stunning except for the lack of facial details in some of the shots. Looking forward to seeing how it goes on from here! |

| I'm digging this show more than anything else this season, sans Vinland Saga which unless they do something stupid will be runaway AOTS. I specially dig the world they're living in, I really hope they flesh it out some more instead of just leaving things at that. Not just about the different fire companies, but what is happening to the world at large. The female character designs are so hawt. There's already a healthy production of images on Patreon and Pixiv paying them homage too. About the only negative I have at this point is Arthur. I really hope he becomes more interesting than he is right now. His "knight" act and calling women "princess" could wear pretty thin after a couple of episodes. |

| Damn, Mexico is underwater TTvTT It's very interesting all the story setting just to be able to do a shounen anime about firefighters. Outside of the "fanservice", I'm surprised about Tamaki be at 1st squad instead the 8th (she appears in the opening with the 8th team). Well another organization with dubious secrets... a classic. |

| alright episode, though was the groping really necessary? censorship wasn't as obvious as i had expected it to be, though of the scenes felt a bit choppy. joker's va is also pretty good. |

| ok that Tamaki girl is clearly the main fanservice of this show but Maki is still the best girl for me (so far) the Joker villain lol is he like the Joker from Batman show like he is just too antisocial (or anti-society) or he is like the typical anime villain that believes in "the end justify the means" so he thinks killing people is a necessary evil the nervous smile of Shinra is awesome as always too im not gonna be surprise if because of profit (capitalism) reasons the businesses involving the Fire Force is holding on to the secret of the fire phenomenon but damn the animation quality severely dropped to just an average animation this episode and lol would you choose the red pill or blue pill Shinra? looks like he choose both for now  |

| Joker looks straight out of Soul Eater. I like him. I also find his co-worker hilarious, how he stood in the audience with that huge creepy smile. Talk about not looking suspicious, lmao. Tamaki is fine so far. I don't mind the fanservice, her powers are nice (the fire nekomata thing, I mean) and I like how Aoi Yuuki voices her. Looking forward to more of her scenes. So, the villains are going to be the Fire Force corps themselves (other than Joker), aren't? I liked captain Obi in the previous two episodes, but my love for the character grew up after knowing that he truly wants to solve the problem with the Infernals, and that he made the Division 8 for that purpose. Also, with the respect of the Fire Force (the rest of the Divisions at least) being the bad guys, so far the Commander of Division 1 doesn't looks like a bad person (for now), but I bet Shinra's brother will be an enemy in the future. The chance is too good to not take it. |

| The animation of this anime is sooo satisfying, especially the fight scenes; that scene with Shinra taking on Joker was amazing! I wanna know; how the fuck has the Fire Force functioned for so long when no one shares information and no one trusts each other?! Sounds super counterproductive! |

| I'm a Nanatsu no Taizai fan, so i'm no stranger to random groping scenes, but that was the most forced one i've ever seen. I don't even get how it happened, can someone enlighten me? I like the character though because nekos and Yuki Aoi. Another solid episode though. I didn't really notice any censorship. I like how there's more to the MC's past than first thought as well. Not as simple as it first appeared. |

| I have to say, the girls in the Anime are sexy as hell! Tamaki is no exception. That groping scene though... Lucky Lecher Lure? I would have liked an explantion there. Also she's a catgirl, of sorts.. Animation is incredible again, Shinra's battle against the Joker was awesome! Joker is one skilled guy, eventho he has a lot of help with those ashes. So he made the whole place blow up when Arthur and Tamaki joined the battle. Seeing them being saved was awesome, Tamaki by her skilled Captain and Arthur just falling straight into the ground. That alone made me laugh a lot. So something smells fishy within the Special Fire Force.. |

Then the akward scene with the captain and the old guy where he says you got a good man and its just there far too long. |
