Ah, seeing Kurumi using her abilities again pleases me. That time magic never ceases to amaze.

A rather emotional episode for Origami though. In her spirit form, it almost feels like she's a completely different person now. Her Inverse form is also revealed. I'm not sure how they'll ever be able to bring her back. Kurumi is still the same as ever with that personality of hers this season heh

Kurumi comes to ruin the day and Save the day again, finally been too long without her.
Seems like Kurumi didn't expect that expression of Tobiichi probably held back not to assault her like in season 1 ;p

Inverse Origami is so beautiful can't wait to see her with long hair like in the outro

Kotori's line now belongs to Kurumi, i like this change

The Spirit Origami's hatred was directed at was herself...She goes back in time to save her parents from herself...but how did this Cycle even start? Time manipulation can be confusing @@ maybe it will get clear with the next episode how this mess started
make her smile again Shido T_T

Also, I guess we'll get to see one eyed Kurumi next episode though.

Well, I can't exactly say I was expecting time travel to pop up in this show like this, but in hindsight it does make sense that Kurumi would have such an ability. That aside, there's yet more cruel irony to Origami's arc in that her time travelling to the past to stop the death of her parents ended with her being the one who killed them. The question now is what Shido will do to stop Origami going Inverse, as he surely can't actually do anything more than that without completely destroying the timeline as we know it.

Lemme guess... Shido actually saves Origami's parents wont he? otherwise I see no reason why the time travel happened again (I know Kurumi wants to learn why Origami underwent this inverse form? but really that sounds like an excuse other than anything else to pull that off)
Animation was ok compared to last ep I guess, Tohka's slash and the wave that came out was fluid unlike last ep... last ep was just a fcking disgrace.
Can't wait what happens more.

Bow down to the Queen Kurumi!

I hope Shido just saves Origami and not her parents.

Damn she looked like a zombie too. Crazy episode.

So, the one who killed Origami's parents is Origami herself when she fired her weapon erratically after chasing a phantom.

So, Shido would jaz have to find out as to what Origami did when she git herself transported 5 years ago through that Yod Bet that Kurumi did

Interesting yet predictable outcome. The spirit Origami hated for all this time was actually her future self.

Overall best episode so far. As expected Kurumi has a big role in this. God how I have missed her voice, it's so pleasing.

Hell yeah, intense episode!

Ahh man, it's great to see Kurumi back in action once again and listen to that sexy voice as well.. And like always, her appearance immediately changed the direction of this anime into something even more interesting.

So, now we also play with time travel here.. Kurumi's powers are absolutely in another level tbh. Origami just got a reality check by going back in time... She looked so "dead" in Inverse mode when she came back.. So now, Shido has the chance to change the course of history in his hands, i wonder how will he manage to do it? I'm really curious atm. Kurumi sure is a mysterious one eh? Saving the day just like that (well, not really saving the day because Shido now has to do his part, more like opening the doors to succeed in this matter). I get the feeling that if Shido does change history, Kurumi will be all over Shido even more xD

Waiting patiently for the next episode!

Origami killed her own parent, wow what a twist, and her past self wishes to see the death of her future self, man what a messed up scenario.

No info though on that mystery spirit she was fighting, but that spirit knows all about the powers of everyone else by the looks of it.

So now Origami has a dark side like Tohka.

A bullet to the head, not my idea of a date lol but I get it, face Origami in the past and the present.

The spirit Origami was fighting has already been mentioned in season 1 and 2. Both Kotori and Miku were turned into spirits by this spirit. Remember. Kotori used to be a human and so was Miku. The code-name of this spirit is Phantom, already mentioned by Kotori and Shidou. Miku called Phantom her "God" becuase it granted her a voice. And of course, Phantom is also the one who turned Origami into a spirit. Please you guys really need to pay more attention, especially this character.

I think this will be end in the next 2 episode. First, Shido need to help Origami in the five years ago to prevent her rise as an 'inverse spirit'. Then, for the last it'll be the conclusion about 'will Origami remain become a spirit or will she be back as human. Master Origami is on the spotlight in this third season for me.

Very interesting episode. I have a feeling Phantom(Glitchy Spirit, the one Origami was fighting in the past) could be Natsumi. Assuming from the cover of the anime and the figure of Phantom in episode 8. This might be revealed in the last episode of 3rd season. Idk what will happen in the last 4 episodes. But if it turns out that way there is a chance of 4th season and 4th season might truly focus on Shido's evolution, if Shido doesn't undergo any huge transforming regarding his Spirit in this season.

Always nice to see the Queen Kurumi once again, and her powers always work wonders, at least for Origami, whom now understands her past and future Inverse form.

Only Shido can revert Origami back to herself, but but Kurumi's intervention (which he TOTALLY forgot) was even greater, sending Shido back to the same timeline before everything happened.

Honestly a great episode compared to the lackluster ones before it, everything's picking up as how it should have been with the past 2 seasons.

It is a bit more complex than that...
Her arc is vol 10 and 11, this is NOT going to end in ep10, but in episode 12, so they have plently of time to adapt everything nicely (hopefully).

Shame that the outcome of Origami going back in time was so obvious even before it happened.

They portraid her despair really well, it was odd at first to see them using such tense tracks, since they mostly fail in implementing the OST to such a degree of efficience before.

I think many people may regard this as one of the best DAL episodes in the series so far, AND those thinking they can see the outcome of this, prepare to be proved wrong, because things arent really that simple, and the real ride started with this episode.

Again, Origami is resourceful, figuring that one of Zafkiel's 12 bullets probably has the power to travel back in time, and Kurumi may be whimsical enough to let her use it. ...and I initially thought Origami was checking if she had gained the power to kill Kurumi permanently. o.o"

Little confusing how the scenery underneath Origami suddenly goes from no fire, to a huge fire... did she just travel fast, or teleport?

I didn't see the downward shot that hit Origami's parents... looked like Phantom blocked the one which I expected to be the killing shot.

Not sure if the artists left too many clues, or if the way time travel works in fiction makes it inevitable that the viewer can figure out what Origami is about to do long before she has actually done it.

There is a plotline issue that has never been straightened out - that Origami recognized Shido in the first episode of season 1, but Shido did not recognize her. Timeline issue now I guess. O.o?

This doesn't seem like the sort of anime where someone dead for that long can come back to life. Also, so much of the timeline depends on Origami donning the CR unit for the AST, and she only does that to avenge her parents.
I suspect there's some historical event that Kurumi wants to change, but she knows Yod Bet doesn't neccesarily make that possible, so she's having Origami and Shido experiment for her.
Perhaps there is something that Shido can do in the past to prevent Origami coming back with dead-looking eyes and face, while her angel downs the Fraxinus, but I have no idea what.

Aside, Kurumi fires twice in the last scene when she sends Shido back... wonder if that means anything.

I wonder if it would be better if I read ahead... O.o?

Finding out that it was her who killed her parents 5 years ago for Origami is devastating. She didn't know that the one she wants revenge with is none other than herself in spirit form, now she became an Inverse. Anyway, I am glad seeing Kurumi in action again, her personality is quite the same but Kurumi saves the day again, just like in the movie.

I wonder who/what killed Origami's parents in the previous timeline. Was there another cause of why her parents died? It will be weird if the killer in the previous timeline was also herself, cause she wouldn't have gone back to the past if her parents were alive.

This seems to be 2nd time that I saw an anime where the person who wants to save someone go back to the past but they become the killer instead.

Haha, guess
I'll wait patiently for the next episodes for explanation. This is what I have in my mind though.

It could be that since the start of season 1 the timeline is already where it's Origami herself that killed her parents. There's also mystery about why Origami knew Shido and why she loves him eventhough Shido never knew about her, which I would assume there's a connection with Shido going back to the past.

BUT I want to look back further.

Thinking about it logically, there should be a timeline where 'something happened' (could be her parents' death or even other things) that made the very first Origami went to the past. If nothing happened and everything was fine, there's no reason for Origami to time travel. If everything was fine spirit Origami wouldn't even exist in the past.

Sure there can be loop after Origami went to the past, but what was the reason that made the VERY first Origami time traveled? This is what I'm curious about.

I don't know if the novel explained about this thing or not, since lots of stories are often ambiguous about time travel concept. Guess the answer is to wait for the anime.

Oh god, not this shitty excuse.
When S3 was announced, there already rumor that Production IMS don't pay their animator because they had no money.

The real thing is that JC Staff have a poor management of time and they waste it.
Look at OPM2, only 2 (or maybe now 3) episodes ready 1 month (was 2 when this Rumor come), so press F.

People don't care about anything that happened in this episode except for 30 seconds of Kurumi. Screw that, What about Phantom? What about the reveal of Origami killing her parents? Yeah, I don't quite grasp why people like her? Is it her voice? Sex appeal? She makes a boring 35 second appearence and people be like: BEST GIRL KURUMI
