| Did it with attack on Titan. Picked it up again last year after dropping it after it first came out. I just decided to give it another shot considering my taste in anime had changed quite a bit over the last couple of years and the second season was hyped up. So I figured I might like it more now that I was older and no longer put off by darker stories and I was right. Same with Monster Gintama too. Was curious why this thing was so highly rated after I barely got through the first episode. Realised that I should have started on episode 3 |

| I had seen a lot of people who had this whole elitism around not dropping anime so I decided to complete my entire drop list no matter how long ago I had started them. Some I had even started over 1000 days before. Some of them were better than I expected, but some I ended up hating more than when I dropped them. |

| Pokemon. I got too old for that. I picked it up later and turns out Pokemon:Sun and Moon turned out to be shit. They made Ash into a kid, they literally starting a new series. The 20 seasons before it are forgotten. And i’m serious about this. I did watch Pokemon. Can’t let go of your childhood. |

| I always feel left out of these conversations because i can't stand dropping anything, i don't go actively searching for bad anime though. Bad anime still holds value to me, in short: I can't know how good something truly is unless i know how bad things truly can be. |

However it turned out to be drastically different from the previous seasons. :*( |

| It happened with Gintama and Jojo. Gave up on the first one in the earlier episodes and pick it up almost one year later because I had nothing else to watch that period so I tried again. With Jojo, I stopped watching for like two weeks since I found the first part of the series mediocre and generic but I got hooked with that too. Ironically, both series are now in my Top 10. |

I loved Charizard. Really hated he didn’t help Ash win in the tournament. Balbasaur and Squirtle are forgotten as well. These three pokemon were my fav. And there’s that one from XYZ series. Pokemon was my first anime. Over 1000 ep watched with all the movies until 2016. It was a great childhood. Still miss Brook. |

First of all, no previous series has been forgotten and Misty and Brock actually returned for two episodes in the series and are going to return again. And I don't get the logic that Ash was turned into a kid when he is basically one since day one. It's fine if you don't like the series but at least don't post incorrect facts. |

Brock is still doctor in-training, Misty has renovated her gym and has become a better trainer, they showed flashbacks from the first series, Jigglypuff returned, Bulbasaur, Charizard, Squirtle, Tauros, Muk, Totodile and Corphish got cameos. SM series showed all this. As I said, it's totally fine if you don't like it but trying to claim that it doesn't follow the same continuity like the other series without having any evidence, you are false. |

| Occasionally a show that I dropped I'll give another chance, but usually only the shows I generally hear good things about that I dropped. The thing is, shows that I've dropped I gave a chance and they failed. I have a backlog of shows that I'll probably never get to, so if I'm going to pick back up a show I didn't like at some point, I need to really believe that there is something there that I either missed or wasn't in the mood for the first time. I'm not going to give a show that was poorly received by everyone a second chance, I have better shit to watch. |

The way it started was already different. It looked like they made a new anime with Ash going into school. To top it all, they didn’t even show he was going into another region. In previous series, they show him taking pikachu only and arriving at a new region. The art changed and he’s a kid now. And it’s a fact for me that he was mature in XYand XYZ series. And people agree that Sun and Moon was where Pokemon started going bad. It’s because they changed the art style. I stopped watching after 25+ episodes. So i don’t know that far. But are there even those legendary gym fights here? I loved the series deeply and it’s wrong of you accusing me of making false accusations. Keep Calm and keep loving Pokemon. |

| Nichijou. The first two episodes were too slow and corny to me but I picked it up again out of boredom and heard many good things about the show. The comedy was more effective because I watched it with my cousin who likes slapstick humor. |

But are there even those legendary gym fights here? I loved the series deeply and it’s wrong of you accusing me of making false accusations. Keep Calm and keep loving Pokemon. Again, he was always a kid. He never aged and never will according to the producers because it's convenient for them to keep Ash around and be relatable to kids. And sorry but if your definition of mature is a generic bland shounen protagonist with no character qualities like Kirito is in SAO then sorry but he wasn't all that mature. Don't expect him to grow up because you grew up too because Pokemon is a kodomo anime which means that the show will always be focusing on children and mainly cares about selling Pokemon merchandise rather than telling an ongoing story. Ash is just a cash cow who stopped developing after the DP series. And this series was never really all that great if you take away nostalgia but you just love the franchise so you can bear with it to some extent. From fights you can watch Kiawe vs Brock and Ash vs Misty which look pretty cool. Anyway, if you want a great Pokemon story I suggest you to read Pokemon Adventures/Special if you haven't already. This is how the Pokemon Anime should have been, tells a great story and has way better written characters than the anime. |

| I have actually revisited a lot of anime that I didn't like the first time. For some reason, there are just some that I have to try a second time to become interested. It took me a few times to finish Ghost in the Shell. I think it's an amazing anime. But the first 2 or 3 times, I didn't finish it. Wasn't holding my attention. I do plan to watch everything related to GITS. |

I watched only 1 episode of it long ago and it bored me to death so I stopped it but upon restarting it recently it's pretty good tbh for an anime I initialy dropped it was konosuba, I dropped it TWICE. but my tastes changed with times and I loved it, 9/10. |

| I've dropped Death Note three times now. Why? Because I "need" to finish it. To have watched as many anime as I have without completing Death Note is almost like an aberration. A glitch in the matrix. People honestly get confused by it, they can hardly believe I'm an anime fan. The problem, of course, is that the show is absolutely dreadful. I mean, it's not Angel's Drop, but it's 37 freaking episodes of mediocrity to sit through! 23 minutes each. Lord have mercy upon my soul... but I will finish it one day. I know I will. |

| Years back when Sidonia first aired, I was interested in the premise, but most of the characters weren't great and I really dislike CGI. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't something I cared enough about to actively follow week to week. And by the time it had finished, I had forgot it existed. But about a month ago I was browsing Netflix for something Scif-Fi (not anime), and it popped up with 2 seasons. I had nothing else to watch so I gave it another go. Ended up finishing both seasons in about a week and a half. I enjoyed it much more in a binge-watch setting this time around, but the initial reasons for dropping it definitely still annoyed me. |

| Mood, taste and even point of view change over time. Like years ago I dropped Mushishi at episode one and in 2014 when they announced new season I went back and was surprised what a good show I have missed. Recently I watched Princess Tutu which also dropped at episode one more of a decade ago. Still not sure why my reactions were negative to them but liked similar stuff - Kino no Tabi (2003). Same case with FLCL - hated it at first glance but liked Dead Leaves. Got to like FLCL much later. Also Trava: Fist Planet. |

| Who are you and why do you show your hostility towards a complete stranger whom you've not once spoken with before. Are you seriously asking to get blocked? Well, if that's what your intent is; to tempt me into throwing hands with someone as lowly and insignificant as you, then i may grant your wish provided you articulate yourself a bit better when trying to spite a person of my wavelength. |

| Well, I picked up shows that I had On-Hold for 4-6 years recently. Namely Maison Ikkoku (finished it) and Lupin II (Part 2), which I'm currently watching. Also the old Kindaichi anime I guess. That and Maison Ikkoku were among the shows I watched during summer, although I'm not done with Kindaichi yet since it is still being subbed. As for why? I finished urusei Yatsura and figured now is a good time to get back into MI since I wanted to watch another Rumiko Takahashi anime after UY. Got back into Kindaichi kinda on a whime and ended up catching up to the latest subbed episodes. It's just something nie to watch in-between stuff. As for Lupin, it has kinda taken Kindaichi's place now that I'm basically caught up with the latter. Being episodic just makes it nice to watch in between when I'm not in the mood for anything particular. I always have one show like that on my currently watching list. Something long and episodic (or with short arcs) that I can just throw on whenever I'm not feeling like anything else in particular. |

| I began watching Ranma 1/2 in 2009. I finally finished it this year. Mainly it's for closure since I like finishing shows I start. I may hold a show off if it irks me particularly, if I get distracted while watching, or if I enjoy it so much that I hold it off to prevent marathoning (and subsequently forget to finish). However, I'll eventually come back to them since I want to see them through to the end. |

| I originally dropped Yuri on ice, but recently picked it back up and found the animation to be able to carry the show on its own. I dropped it because I was relatively new to anime at the time and looked at it purely as a yaoi. Now, I understand more about the technical parts of anime and i love it! |
