I'm planning on watching BNHA as it airs anyway, but given the amount of discussion here I'll probably go ahead and watch Shingeki as it airs too. | Reception to ibo's ending is going exactly how i expected, i dont see much wrong in backlash cause this is a massive strike to conventions but i do think this is one of those things that people will lighten up to as time goes on. I just wish i wasnt at work so i could actually reply to people. I wonder how ibo's final body count compares to the rest of the series. I feel like it offed more important characters than most. its kind of hilarious how people said its a show where no one died in the show back when s1 aired. |

| The Ghost in the Shell live action movie was all right. Wasn't any worse than the anime movie as far as I remember it. And Scarlett Johansson was a fine protagonist imo. A bit less stoic perhaps, but that's not a bad thing really |

Yeah S1 was a huge cop out with the deaths but also heard it wasn't supposed to happen like that according to Okada and they were planned to be all dead in the original script, pretty noticeable too when you watched it. The ending happened as I expected so although it was preditactable to me doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it, actually enjoyed the second half in IBO S2 a lot more than when it first started, remember I was pretty bored a lot of times if I'm gonna be honest and felt there was little to no progress being made in like in most Gundam's middle parts there is so even though if all the deaths etc that happened in the last second half felt forced to some (but not me) atleast something happened and had some decent conversations happening all over the place. But overall I liked it, aside from that animation....really wish they could up their budget on the next whatever longer Gundam series that will happen in the future. Decent AU Gundam. |
