| Ok, so we got an astral Traveler with a childhood trauma that reminds me a little about Mysterious Skin + Mystic River, a seer, a creepy psychologist, two other main characters with infos yet to be told, and a remote area setting. I think I'll like this. I'm a sucker for creepiness anyway. |
| i really like the sound effects and the story telling. when i watched this episode i was wearing headphones and the fly was buzzing around. i thought it was a real fly buzzing around me and ended up trying to swat something that wasn't there. :-P |
| yeah quite slow, thought the beginning was creepy, also the kids astro projections were cool/wierd also, think this might need a few more episodes to get into, but overall its not too bad! Big thumbs down for the OP thought, hated it :/ |

| I'm surprised to read that a lot of you guys found this episode creepy. In which way? It wasn't at all for me. The only thing I thought that was creepy is how much the animation looks like Jigoku Shoujo's. Wow. I can't believe it isn't even the same studios. We don't care? No, we don't. So, it's a pretty average beginning... A bit slow. This is neither a beginning that makes you feel like dropping the anime, nor continuing it. At the end of it, you feel neutral. Well, at least, regarding to me. Actually, not a lot happened. We don't know anything. If I hadn't read the synopsys I wouldn't be able to totally say what it is about. |

We learn that the main character Tarou was in a traumatic kidnapping incident with his older sister. Unfortunately, she did not survive. Since then, he's had narcolepsy and has lucid dreams. Interesting start, nevertheless. |

| at first i picked this anime at random though others says it's similar to ghost hunt so i put it in my plan to watch list, however i was really bored so i choosed it randomly because i wanted to watch horror and it worked though it's not horror but it's interesting and i'd love to continue and see where this is going |

| Very interesting and mystical start, with the few glimpse we got from his past this also seems to be rather dark, with them being kidnapped and I fear the worst for his sister... but well this sure is an interesting start so let's see what's next! |

| That was rather boring, for the first three quarter of the episode. The last quarter got a little bit interesting, but overall it was meh, it didn't intrigue me or anything. | The moments with Taro drove the whole ep for me. His discomfort with his family. His memories detailing his and his sister's kidnapping. And what is happening to him like the dreams and what that other girl is all about.. Ogami brings a similar interest due to his father's connection to what happened.. If there was ever a time to grow a anti-social personality, that'd be it. Nakajima could use a Gibb's head slap but I think he's gonna help get the ball rolling with that curious attitude of his. 4/5. It is interesting so far. |

| I am impresst,this was one of the best first episodes of psycholgical anime and anime in general I had wached from long time. The artstyle and the atmosphere of this series are blended really good.Slow speaking and not so bright colors give to the viewer this dream like fealing that grab you to the end of the episode.Opening is unique and ending is beautiful,sound effects are amazing. From 1st to the last minute of this episode I felt so uneasy,cringe and confused,that make this episode so good. This anime looks or I must say feels like combination of Higurashi,Monster and maybe Serial Experimental Lain.I am so excited and maybe will watch first 5 episodes at once !!  |
| as a first impression, i really liked the opening song. it's weird, but it's my kind of music and reminded me a bit of shiina ringo. that said, this looks promising. gave me a bit of the same feeling shinsekai yori gave when i first started watching it - which i never finished - and later i felt a bit of a lain vibe. it's certainly intriguing and i don't really mind it being that slow. but the sounds. the sounds are amazingly done and i have a feeling that is gonna be the biggest triumph of this series. |

| That was one long introduction. Makoto looks like an interesting character and the psychologist looks too weird and awfully similar to the person who put Tarou in that coffin-like space. |
