And also Americans can negotiate their own schedule since they're in high demand. With anime, it's either you get the part and deal with whatever you got, or no work. |

I don't know why that is, I'm no medic, but I know that from experience. After some particularly exhausting concerts with my band I was down with a cold the very next day. The Japanese entertainment industry is a shark tank, so you gotta be everywhere, do everything and do it good all the time. I'd guess that many more seiyuu have health problems but keep them a secret to not be marked as "problem employee". |

They are overworked and many are idol seiyuu which is worse and this brings on illnesses. Take a look at their blogs, I guarantee you that you will find pics of them looking sleep deprived or worse, exhausted. |

| I hope she gets well soon really love her voice, the characters that she voiced really fit perfectly, simply cant imagine someone else doin now the voice for Erina, Yatori in the middle of the season really hope all the voice-casting was done already and there wont be any changes which would require her to say some new lines again or somethin like that. Really wish her all the best so she can return quickly :) |

| Hope that she gets better soon and that she takes this time to really rest Risa is a fantastic seiyuu and one of my top ten favorite ones plus she has such an excellent voice range I was really looking forward to hearing her and seeing her character in www.working but her health must come first naturally. Still having Nana Mizuki replace her was a great move and Nana is more than capable of taking over for Risa Hope she gets better soon |
