| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, that was an interesting episode, one mostly about the Walkure and Mikumo again and the origin of their story and formation. Glad to see Mikumo doing well. However, I do think pacing could pick up a bit more. The inevitable battle involving Windermere will make one hell of a fight for the final few episodes. Mikumo definitely belong to the Walkure imo regardless of who she is. Also, Heinz's scars...scary. |

That would be something to see. "Mikumo-san....suki da yo" And all the others melting down in angst afterwards. What irks me the most is that so much dialogue and screentime ends up with the Knights and the Makina/Reina combo. I wonder how many minutes of show we would have left if we cut down all the references to "the wind". Not much I reckon. With few episodes I left, I fear that they will want to cram too many revelations/development at the end. And by then it will be to late. |

| It's too bad Mikumo isn't a main heroine, I would have preferred her over Frejya or Mirage. I'm curious to see what she and Hayate will be discussing seeing as they haven't said a word to each other this whole time. |
| The episode was ok in my book. But, we could have gotten this episode a weed earlier for the Walkure background. I actually like the part where they weren't successful in their first sorties and have to work their way up. Mikumo's rendition of Giraffe Blue is puzzling to be honest. The talent is there but for a sad song, it doesn't make you wanna cry. It seems to be missing its emotional energy (sadness). Usually, in sad songs, the voice would be able to break up a little. Here, it's too smooth. Now, the sound engineer did too much of a good job. :( I was expecting Windermere screentime and I got it. Heinz accelerated aging ming have something to do with the strain cause by singing... So, theory: if it weren't for Hayate love, Freyja singing would be as strainous as Heinz and die more early? Just a thought. For the scene at the end with Mikumo talking, I was expecting some " I wanna keep singing because I love it". Surprising grim scene I got here. I'm kinda mad that the show picked up its pace now rather than when they started to air back then. Now, it have become crammed and not much enjoyment come out of it. I don't know about its staff but I don't feel they are motivated by the air that's coming off of each episodes. |

I think Kawamori is trying to do the same thing as AKB0048 which would be ok IF he started to focus on characters and set clear arcs in the series. From what I seen, I think we have 3 arc right now. |

| Damn! What Farina said was true the song became more lethal... Roid did not tell Aero the whole truth... He kept the true intention to himself, Berger discover it by some chance (the research) so basically he is aiming for the Infinite Tsukuyomi whole universe being controlled but with this Delta waves there is not a chance for people revolting because they are catatonic. I almost forgot whit this new development the Windemerean will be susceptible to this as well? Ernest told Arad that Lady M was going to reveal to the girls the true nature of Mikumo but the one who did it was Mikumo so Lady M is Mikumo?! Ernest plan is bold but it is the best choice for them and ironically for the story too (5 more chapters are not enough to cover the team going planet by planet destroying the relics)… That outfit star singer (I think itis a get-up/cloths) I guess it packs a pretty big punch (magnifier) thus making Heinz more susceptible to dying prematurely if that the case... the question, is Aero is going to let that happen? To conclude I think Mikuno might not be enough to cause an overlord to the relics I think the whole team Walkure need to pull a Nakama power boost to help her defeat Heinz & company... megmica said: The flashback telling us the viewers how the girls meet each other’s and the beginning of Walkure... | So before Walkure was formed, there were former 2 girls of the idol unit and both quit. JUNNA's singing voice really stands-out than any of the singers that I've heard when singing synchronously. Kumo-Kumo now tells that there's something different with herself to the other girls even if she doesn't know what it is, but she knows and accepts that she's not a human or a clone. 4/5. |

| Ok i clearly heard Mayan there... Macross Zero anyone? Mao Nome as Lady M theory is clearly strong. She could be tryng to find her sister and Shin. But we can't know for sure. And by the way, this is the worst Macross ever. Even 7 was more interesting. This is just a lame and big merchandise comercial. But i'll watch it anyway as the Macross Fanboy i am. |

| Out of all of this, I'm quite happy for more songs to ad to the collection from this series: another song lead by Kaname! :D I find that scene where Mikumo explaining her origin to be extremely grim. Her eyes looked dead when she turned about to face them. |

Advice: use the Macross fanboy term lightly 'cuz people here have a tendency to call us elitists when we say we watched Macross for a long time. |
