| They are often some of the most beautiful girls in their respective series for one. Two, they are often very tragic, so much so that all you wanna do is go over there and hug them, telling them that it's all gonna be ok. Plus, aside from tendencies, their tenacity and willingness to stick to their love is definitely a plus about them. Those are all of the less unorthodox reasons. Some people have fetishes. Some just want to see a badass Paycho woman with a devotion, and wanna see themselves as that person being devoted to like some sort of self-insert protagonist. Hell, I'm attracted to some Yanderes for their physical beauty and character complexity rather than because they're psychotic and often badass. I mean, I'd be wierdneds out by one IRL, and would wanna find a way to make one that's devoted to me less likely to cut someone for making a backhanded comment at me or being close and jovial with me, but still. |

| As a girl, I am not attracted to them in the physical or emotional or sexual or whatever have you sense, but I find them to be badass and to create the most gore and violence and awesome madness/craziness whenever they exist in the series. In that sense, I like them. Though really, I like yangire more than yandere, because it goes a step further and removes the 'romance' part, and we have a character who is just pure madness (Alucard and Stein, anyone?) and kills/mutilates/dismembers whoever stands in their way without regards to morals. I don't know why, but they make a series more exciting (where appropriate obviously. I wouldn't want them in an SOL for example LEL). |

Some people just feel so insecure about the other in a relationship and are so scared to lose them that knowing that the other is a yandere and would never leave their side is comforting. That's my best guess. But yeah, in most cases it's just really freaking weird. Don't think too hard about it or you're going into AP Psychology from high school again. |

| I'm gay, and the reason I like them is because I love strong female characters and to be yandere you have to be strong (in order to kill or whatever). Plus I'm into more eccentric female character because they have a different vibe to them. When it comes to guy characters (aka who I would date) I actually dislike yanderes. They are just unnecessary and unpleasant to look at. Yandere fits well with femininity so maybe if it's a girly guy (?) but otherwise I prefer confident men! |

| Simple. Yanderes offer a much more stimulating relationship. Imagine love as a drug. A normal love is like using a low risk stimulus to enjoy a nice high. Eventually you come down and it's no big deal. Your just under stimulated again until your next high. Now imagine Yandere love to be a much more extreme stimulus. One that sets your endorphins on fire. Then imagine coming down. The pure horror that awaits you on the other end of the spectrum is exciting. Losing yourself to another person. Supreme fatal dedication. Horrid intoxication. Imagine looking into those eerie love filled eyes. Those eyes that were crafted especially for you and you alone. |
