BTW, Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu v1 was out and is unranked. Which means that Winter 2016 will likely be a bloodbath sales wise since Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu is supposed to be one of the better selling series.

Osomatsu-san Vol.2 will likely not hit 100k with this start, but still one month to go for the first non-event ticket volume to be released (Vol.3).

Will be interesting to see how big the sales drop will be from Vol.3 to 8.

Shouldn't this be what MAL lists as Fafner Exodus season 2? The numbering of the volumes just treats Exodus like one continuing season and doesn't split it into two separate ones.

Looks Like Overlord managed to finish it's entire run always above 10k for each volume..that is great :D,..I really hope S2 might come one day (PLS MADHOUSE break your curse)

Gate:Thus the JSDF Fought There, were always consistent and the last volume got a bit of a jump than the last..the first cour managed to stay around an average of 5.5k...that is good...hope the second cour sells consistent too and we might get another season to finish it off.

One Punch Man is still selling alright but has gotten a bit of a drop from the first 2 (even ticket of course)

Glad to see Rakudai Chivalry no Cavalry on the list...not so high tough it deserved better than that.

I've fixed the links to match the eps. that include in the volumes. Like you said, the volume number treats like one continuing season, so I won't change the title.

A shame that volume 1 of Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu didn't rank. Not surprised though, not the type of show that generally sells well. Considered buying the series myself but other series (among other things) took priority this time.

Anwyay fab to see Owarimonogatari still selling incredibly well. The Date A Live movie sold well also, looking forward to watching it somewhere down the line. Shinmai BURST still sadly rather low.

The fact that the gatari series can still sell over 20k after 7 years is amazing

I doubt any franchise held on this long. I don't count gundam since its basically a new series with the same brand and not rly a continuation

I too want to see S2 since S1 was really well done despite the rushing (80 chapters in 12 episodes). Sadly, I heard the director is currently busy with lots of oncoming projects so it will probably take a while if it does get one (I don't remember where I read that so don't ask about it).

There's also the fact that the 2nd arc is really long and they'd need at least 2-cour to do it even with the same pace as S1 (we're already in 200+ chapters and still not done with the 2nd arc). Of course, there's also the option of stopping in the middle of the arc like Shokugeki no Souma but that will be really painful for the anime-only watchers lol.

Exactly, as it is in a similar situation to UtaPri 3. Probably a similar drop from Vol.3 to 8 as we saw for UtaPri 3, as Vol.1 and 2's sales are very likely driven by the male seiyuu fans. All they want are the event tickets. It also doesn't take a genius to figure this out by looking at how much lower the CD sales are for the non-ED CD...

Still very good sales for Overlord (come on S2) and Symphogear (thank you S4 and S5!).

Good for Rakudai cracking that top 20, just enough to say it was there XD.

It's half length Monogatari! Did you check Stalker before you made your prediction? It's #7 on stalker.

Owarimonogatari v3 is at #84, it got 24K this week.

Owarimonogatari v4 is at #91 and it will also sell over 20K. I don't see how Koyomimonogatari at #7 is going to sell less than 5K but ... we'll know in a few months.

● Girls und Panzer Movie updated from http://worldofkj.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2101156&sid=a039bf18e54809195d3900742f87c394#p2101156. The poster of the Top 10 has a subscription to Bunkatsushin.
● Kizumonogatari Part 1 and High Speed! -Free! Starting Days- are from from Box Office Mojo, which is a source that's usually effected by USD/JPY currency exchange rate changes. If Bunkatsushin, Cinema Today or their official websites releases a more accurate number, then the Box Office Mojo numbers will be replaced.

looks like Kizumonogatari will not reach 1B... too bad, coming from a big franchise.. this will hurt their pride

Update to the list I posted here:
http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1487084#msg44990713

The Girls und Panzer Movie has passed 900K attendees for a total gross of ¥1,380,539,334 from 902,200 attendees.

Source: http://girls-und-panzer.at.webry.info/201603/article_1.html

So, 1.5 billion yen should be the next milestone since 1.4 billion yen is assured after its 16th weekend (Mar 5~6). I'm surprised they haven't announced a 2nd season yet, because clearly the fanbase is still growing even after 3 years since the TV anime started airing.

I just remembered one thing.

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu vol. 1 should have come February 24. It didn't rank at all?

Not in the weekly top 20 anyway so it sold at most 2K BD and .5K DVD, if that much. Full list should be out sometime.

Hmm... from that numbers, it doesn't seem good right? Since I think movies have more numbers than that.

Well I can only hope for a season 3.
