Well, i don't hate cg but it wouldn't work with blame as it has worked with Sidonia, the thing that made blame so good was the good artwork (dirty but damn beautiful to look) and background it was more about the journey than the story line and there wasn't even a lot of dialog it was focused on the art, it was so bizarre and at the same time intriguing and refreshing, i don't think it would work in cg. Well even if it is cg, I'm going to watch it and a lot fan will but probably its not going to be the same experience. |

And it's one of the things I'm worried about, as well as the whole background with the buildings. The music and sound were great in both seasons of Sidonia, but I know the 3DCG and the whole atmosphere of Blame! is not easily adapted into an anime. There will be mistakes but for now I am optimistic. I am not expecting the excellent adaption anyways. |
| OMG yes I've been waiting for a proper adaptation for 8 years!!!!!!! They better make the animation dark and gritty like the manga, and I don't care if there is barely any talking! The series doesn't need much of it. Oh my god!! I'm slightly hesitant about the 3DCGI though....I haven't seen good use of it and I hope that it will be used tastefully. |
