It is general medical examination to see if you are going to end up expelled / taken as soldier for 1 year or auxiliary military officer for 3 years. It is done for everyone. Well this is the rules in Egypt . kinda justifiable for them as they usually take people who turns into military officer into work in their respective field. Doctors usually tend to work in the military hospitals and Engineers "all fields"/computer science into projects . usually they don't take rest of the people as officers.

I finished just this year the university in computer engineering . The graduation projects this terms tends to be around machine learning / IOT and data mining . I only know thesis of 2 of the TAs one in visual question answering machine "deep learning" and other is in auto tagging articles with Wikipedia as dataset.

well if i found to be not fit in the upcoming medical examination , i might get expelled . Good luck with your thesis . in what field btw ?
