| well Code Geass has more cliffhangers and plot twists outta the 3, however i do think its the worst one among them id say Death Note is just a bit better than Monster |

| Monster is great overall but in terms of how thrilling it is, I'd say Death Note. Monster can be dull at times. |
| I have only seen Code Geass and Death Note and I'd say that Death Note is the better of the two. Monster is one of those anime that I will watch when I have nothing else to watch i.e. never. |

| It's worth noting I only completed Death Note. Geass I watched up to episode 10 or so, and Monster up to 25. But I'd take Geass. Has a cooler animation style, and I remember it being driven more by its characters. Every character felt distinct for me, even the side characters. Death Note was great but a lot of build-up and Monster just lost direction. |

| Based on what you're asking for, Code Geass may win by a bit, but overall Monster was slightly more consistent so I liked it slightly more when you look at it in totality. Death Note started out brilliantly and then went through a painful transition to a 2nd season that was very good, but not nearly at the heights of the first. |

| In terms of thrill it doesn't matter whether you go with Death Note or Code Geass. Both delivers. In terms of substance, direction and Quality Death Note is better. If you want a snoozefest watch monster. |

| Death Note is a complete inferior of Monster in all aspect, except for Fan service. Code Geass is a different story but its potential gone debacle after first season. I am not to impugn the quality of the two but for me, Monster is the most thrilling of them all. Death Note is such a dud for the thriller, at least for the manga. Not watched the anime yet. |

| Code Geass is something on the terms of Aldnoah.Zero or Cross Ange, they don't have much going for them aside from the addictiveness of their plots. Monster and Death Note ( DN not so much but Monster especially ) are on another level in terms of everything. |
