| A good start. Started with a bloodbath just like Shingeki no Kyojiin, Wit Studio's first hit. I'm feeling some good vibes from this anime |

| I'm intrigued. It's definitely not something unique - in fact, it reminds me a lot of Attack on Titan -, but it was still interesting. I almost can't believe I just saw a bunch of kids getting slaughtered. I'm hoping Mika hasn't died somehow, and that Yui doesn't turn into Eren 2.0. I'm very skeptical about the yet another high-school implementation, though. Seriously, why does this seem like a must-have in anime? 4/5 |

It feels cheap if we're supposed to believe they are all a whole-heartedly evil bunch that deserve being massacred. Otherwise, I will still be following this anime as it still does quite interest me. It's just that if the above two points continue as I fear they will, Seraph will probably not be nearly as satisfying for me. Fear of too much cliché-ness also has me a bit worried. I'm truly hoping the anime proves me wrong and surprises me, but as excellent as this first episode was, for now I look towards the next episodes with trepidation. your assuming alot Avok said: wtf. | Oh man. I knew Mika was a goner the moment I saw him… That first episode was really awesome. It was really sad too. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ALL JUST DIED. I definitely have high expectations for this show, and I'm really really looking forward to watching it. Did anyone else notice the similarities to shingeki no kyojin?? | It's finally here! The first episode was nice. Love the art style and how the background scenes all look. Wished they showed how Akane died in the manga but I'm guessing that would've been a tad bit too much. Love how they didn't censor some of the bloody parts or else I would've been pissed. Can't wait until next week! |

| First thing that I noticed when I was watching this episode was how incredible the cinematography(& how there's some kind of shounen-ai vibe to it). Really felt like watching a movie. Incredible work for a first job as a director. Overall, it was a solid episode. One thing though, I wonder how come Yuu got out easily from the facility. I mean, shouldn't a gate to the outside world protected by some guards? Maybe that's the plan, to let Yuu escape? Hm . . . Avok said: The show was jumping from one thing to another in a really weird way. Maybe that's because the director did not want the early part of this episode to be the focus, so he decided to only show the important bits. And the transition was not bad to be honest. |

| I really enjoyed the first episode! The time skips didn't bother me much at all. I was left sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen. Yuu reminds me a lot of Eren Yaeger, and Mikaela a lot of Armin Arlert, but that didn't take away my enjoyment of the show. In fact, I could draw a lot of similarities between Owari no Seraph and Shingeki no Kyojin, but oh well. I have a feeling I shall like this show almost as much as I do Shingeki no Kyojin. Cannot wait for the second episode! |

| I knew those kids will got killed at the end...! I thought at least Akane and Mika would lived.. I expected that, but still..! Dammit! :/ Overall, visuals, character designs, musics were really good. Story looks promising too! Like the main character's design. He's going to be one badass vampire-slayer, I know it! Definitely one of the best this season. Don't disappoint me now, Seraph of The End! |

It's nice to see some anime-only viewers who do try to think and understand the story instead of bitching about how ridiculous a scene was when it's only the first episode. Now, I'm not saying all of the above is true or wrong, you just have to keep watching. I think it's okay for you guys to use the 3 episodes rule for this one. The author did a good job on developing and intertwining all of these "generic" elements into an interesting story imo. |

| Man what a disappointing first episode. The backgrounds are so low quality and the character has a stupid backstory. His mother kills herself after giving birth and his father tries to kill him... really? smh Also hate how hes apart of some prophecy wish they didn't go for such a generic set up. |

As for now, we cannot determine whether it's just for a shock value or not. That's a possibility. Because he had been sucked(the blood. | Not bad. The atmosphere and animation were good, but the sound effects were kind of lacking, sort of like Shingeki no Bahamut. The way the blond kid acted, made me think it was going to turn into some yaoi s**t lol Poor kids tho ;_; |
