Great episode, they way Masato parted was so bromance
Kyousuke's reveal and monologue was outstanding

The only disappointment comes from Riki, the devastation of knowing three of his best friends and additional girls didn't came over at all
Al Pacino had an epic scene done like that

Kyousuke cried even harder than Riki while he has accepted his death and moment of disappearing
Rin standing there clueless the entire time didn't help as well

The parting scenes were moving as the world was fading away

I have a question ahha.

In the "real world", before Kyousuke started up this near-death world to help Riki and Rin face the tragedy, did the Little Busters exist the way it did in the show? Like, was Kurugaya and Mio and Kud all friends with Riki/Rin/Kengo etc? Or were the other girls just thrown in to the fake world?

According to
, they weren't friends before the accident (except for Saigusa and Kurugaya).

ugh~ my eyes! Thos farewell is painful to watch! :'(
and I also agree here. I believe that KyoAni might done it better, but not bad for J.C. not bad. :)

Daln that development :/ Really nice yet sad development, I still dislike the baseball part but well it does give the story a nice touch... This really feels like the end already yet two episodes remain so let's see what happens next though.

Why was Kyousuke and Haruka on the same bus? Kyousuke's not even in the same year level as them and Haruka's from a different class.

I'm just nitpicking haha. Good episode :)

Well, it says during the episode that Kyousuke sneaked onto the bus because he didn't want to be left out.

Anyways, the story could have ended perfectly with this episode IMO, because

And damn, this is the only anime yet that has made my cry in earnest... Angel Beats can't even compare.

Boy I'm glad I had NO IDEA what was going to come...
Ignored the VN, avoided spoilers, basically had not the slightest idea what was going on. I spoiled way too many good series that way.
But THIS... Did not expect that. As already mentioned, I have not read the VN (yet), so I can't compare, but the revelation hit me hard. Disappearing Masato and Kengo hit me hard. Crying Kyousuke was a feel overload. "Faraway" was the cherry on top of the feel cake.
...
Best episode of the series. Clannad-level feels. I salute you, KEY, JC-Staff.

I just made an account to say this: Fuck you JC Staff, this was extremely painful to watch, I just couldn't like this at all, the only part you actually made decent is Kyousuke's farewell but even then the animation made it really akward for me to watch.

I felt those feels in the visual novel but here I was forcing myself to see it even faraway execution was decent, it wasn't that impacting and it wasnt loud enough it was almost like a whisper...

Now I just feel ashamed especially since almost no one wants to read the visual novel which actually IS the real deal but they take the anime and
1-complain
2-drop
3-don't care
4-say that it was beautiful

Even in the 4th one I don't feel happy because they always compare it to clannad and then in my head I can't stop thinking how they would react while playing the visual novel and it's make me feels sad 'cause they will never feel the same as I or the other visual novels reader did.

I cried. In the end, I cried like a little bitch. Like those time when I was watching Clannad, Fuko arc, After Story. Like that time I saw AnoHana ending.

Dat song... It made me choke on my tears. When Masato said his final farewell in his own goofy way, when Kengo was asking them if he lived a good life, when Kyousuke just lost and started crying. The gang reuniting for a last time, the final wafuu...

Please, the next episode is called ''A Single Request'', Komari owe Rin a wish. Please be a happy magical wish that will sweap away the tears from my face T.T

Teared up a lot during this episode, you could probably say I cried and still be correct. It was just amazing, I haven't played the VN yet, but on anime terms it was beautiful. I think I might put Kyousuke on my favorite characters list.

Also, shout out to Masato, I don't think I've mentioned him in any of my posts yet, but man, that guy was awesome.

What is wrong? Is there a missing reaction? That the only thing that can be wrong since the rest is completely my opinion and an opinion can't be wrong except for some case.

masato, kengo, and kyouske's goodbye hit me hard specially with the backstories,

cried a river when kyouske was walking around the school for the last time while reminiscing the fun times they had..... i cried more from this than angel beats.

i just don't like riki's response when masato and kengo were leaving, i mean that's the very last time you'll ever see, and talk to them, and riki's final words to them are like yeah i had fun being your roomate etc.. would've been more emotional if it were like you'll be always my friend etc.. while crying

i started crying the moment they show the girls all the way to the last part, my tears won't stop.
that feeling you get when you realize that riki and rin is the only ones that are alive from the very start of this anime, it's just so painful and sad that the others are all
gone.

to be honest i expect this anime to be fun, lighthearted, slice of life show so when someone said its going to be sad, i didn't give much thought about it and think that "it doesn't really that sad right" and oh boy i was so wrong.

OMFG This is prob more sad than Angel Beats!! I literally fucking cried. Every character aided in building up Riki and Rin strong enough to survive the trauma they were about to face. I hope that "One Wish" means some kind of magically supernatural shyt to turn this anime around and bring everyone back to life. Im pretty sure Ive barely seen ppl talk about Little Busters being sad so is it cause it is underrated? or has a good ending??

Masatos farewell hit me the most, what an amazing guy.

Overall it was a beautiful episode and I have to say that I wasn't expecting such a dramatic development after finishing the first season and especially not that level of deepness for the characters and story.

Somehow this doesn't touch me at all, I think the plot is just weird. So they all died except for Riki and Rin and somehow got the ability to trap both of them in a dream world? Is this really the plot?

Man, that final scene when the Little Busters were with Kyousuke one final time had me choked up and balling (double pun intended)! I'm looking forward to see what the last two episodes have in store, I wouldn't be surprised if they pull a Clannad AS, but it might go a completely other way, here goes.

I honestly dont think ive cried in 3 years.

I was feeling a little depressed after playing osu for 3 hours and decided to rewatch the end scene.
I dont think ive cried so hard my entire life.
As he was disappearing, all of what happened came rushing back to me and i felt his pain, his sadness. And with him, I, no WE, cried our hearts out.
The pain of losing a friend, multiple friends, has happened to each and every one of us, and this anime takes that fact to heart, wraps it in a gift bag, and sends it our way.
It really brings out my inner suffering and experiences, and I hope that it was as impactful for everyone as it was for me.

Damnnnnn so Riki and Rin weren't the ones that died but it's actually all the other ones, that's even sadder and it makes more sense, this world was created for them to become mentally stronger and endure the reality if I understand right, that farewell scene with Kyousuke was really heartbreaking, he's definitely my favorite character from this show now, that was just painful... and it's not even the end.

This episode started descending all the bright and fun emotions that I had and it's turning quite sad now

Oh damn that's what really happened and what the truth really happened to them and they just built this world for them to mature and handle the bitter truth that's yet to be discovered

So this is farewell now what a sad goodbye that they have to bear and a sad reality that they have to handle once they wake up from this illusion.
