| Typically shoujo/josei is aimed towards girls or females in general when they are being made, but I found from time to time that some shoujos sometimes actually have really interesting/entertaining concepts, but at the same time I find myself shying away when I look at shows like 'Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica' for example. Really cute little girl looking characters, and can't help but think yo is it really okay and not weird if i watch this? What are your thoughts? |

| Nope, not weird. I like to read shoujo manga, but I prefer josei (just like I prefer seinen over shounen). I usually stick to romance/SoL manga. Haven't watched to many shoujo anime though. |

| Well for example, average people in our world find it fine when girls beat on guys to their hearts content but if a guy hits a girl it's an automatic assault/rape charge. Thats just how society is and similar with this it'd be considered fine if a girl watches something a guy would watch like sports but you can't say you wouldnt find it a little weird finding a guy crying over something like gossip girls or vampire diaries/twilight So just wanted to know ppls opinions on the anime equivalent of that^^ |
