| Wow. Sailor Mar's transformation was a million times better than the others. That was just straight up badass! I got goosebumps this entire episode. It was great to see Rei and Usagi getting along so well. I can't wait for Jupiter to show up. |

| Rei is pretty good looking, especially in her Miko outfit! Her transformation is nice as well! Best Sailor Guardian so far. (^^) Jadeite's underestimation of the Sailor Guardian became the end for him. Battle was quite short but not bad. 1 down, 3 to go. Good episode. Still yet to see what Tuxedo Mask is capable of. |

| I kept laughing at Rei's derpy face through the episode, they really shoulda fixed that. The transform scene wasn't as good as Ami's, but I liked the music. Overall a nice episode I suppose. I especially liked Rei's VA. |

| I liked this episode. Usagi had some cute cat smiles and more expressions, and I wasn't majorly disturbed by animation flaws.Yay, Ami didn't have disproportionate eyes! Good job, animators! I'm thinking Jadeite's death scene was just censored, which is a dumb decision. Either that or the animators or director couldn't find a way to illustrate his one-panel death. Meh. The more I think about it, the more it bothers me, so I'm just going to leave it at that. Tee hee, Mamoru was looking SUPER good this episode. Yes. Mars' transformation was great. Let's hope the anime keeps on improving from here on out. |

| The episode was pretty meh, to be honest. I didn't think they managed to carry over the same emotion from the scenes in the manga into this episode, and I was really disappointed the bus scene with Usagi and Mamoru wasn't nearly as cute and funny as in the manga. Also, Rei was pretty lackluster and didn't leave any big impact on me. I would give it a 3/5, but since the animation is just becoming more and more hideous with every episode, I'm lowering it to a 2/5. Toei needs to step up their game. |

| Sailor Mars got a big art improvement. Old Sailor Mars  New Sailor Mars  I found her transformation pretty good. I hope her character stays serious since she already gives that serious type aura. I honestly thought she was a high school student because, one she's tall, and since this show has better art than the original show some of the characters look older. I found it also interesting that they showed the other villains as well. 3 down, 2 to go. I'm wondering when Sailor Jupiter will make her debut as well as Sailor Venus. One thing that I'm curious about is why Sailor Mercury has water type powers since Mercury is very close to the sun, therefore shouldn't Mercury have like fire type powers. Did the writers choose the powers the girls would get based on their personalities? |

In Japanese the planet Mercury is called 水星 (suisei) which literally means 'water star'. =) Also: Mars - 火星 (kasei) - fire star Jupiter - 木星 (mokusei) - tree star Venus - 金星 (kinsei) - gold star |

In Croatia, we usually call women between 20 and 25 years that. Anyway, I'm pretty sure, since it's Toei, that this is primarily for girls who watch Precure series, and they're usually up to 13 -15 years old, rarely older. | The animation artwork looks more and more derpy with each episode. Toei, I thought you simplified the models and made the slicker in order to AVOID this! Still a flimsy plot, if it took itself more light hearted it would be better, but that is unfortunately not the focus here. The "Demon Bus" build up was also irksome. However once Jedite made his move on Rei and things got going, it became OK. Spectacle time! OH MY THE BEST TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE EVERRR!!! THE PHOENIX THE FLAMES, THE PASSION, EVEN THE PLANET, PERFECTION! I expected more from Rei's battle aura, but hey, kick ass girls! 5/5 Just for the henshiservice :') I've always loved Rei's henshi the most. |

| Enjoyable episode and Sailor Mars transformation is amazing! But damn what the fuck is up with everyone's eyes? The art is so full of derp at times every screen shot is cringe inducing. |

| Loved this episode. I can definitely feel the show starting to get its legs underneath itself and building real momentum/progression now. And you can never ever have enough Rei. As always, it's going to be a brutal two weeks until the next episode. |

| Mars has the best transformation so far and she also looks a lot more mature and beautiful in this version. Too bad with the derp faces though. The directing in this episode is also incredibly choppy and scenes just kept jumping here and there. It's such a shame that such an iconic anime is getting a flimsy adaption that's worse than a standard 2-cour anime. |

| Not a bad episode. Definitely prefer the Mars transformation sequence of the three so far. The fire is very well done, and it doesn't focus so hard on the weird CGI proportions. Also glad that we're not getting "full" transformation sequences anymore -- I hope that means they'll only get shorter, or even instantaneous. Plot was decent, though I found the pacing a little stilted. I feel like we got more background and understanding with Ami's introduction than we got with Rei. More emphasis on her isolation and the fact that people find her weird would have maybe worked in their favor. (As it was, the scenes with the "moms" felt forced rather than integral to the story itself.) Again, the sloppy animation and weird proportions are getting ridiculous and bizarre. This show is already a year later than they promised, and yet it looks like they threw it together in someone's basement at the last minute. Making up for poorly done scenes with really pretty or well done ones isn't going to cut it. This isn't a thing of "averages" -- where you can make up for the bad with the good. We're going to see both, and it only makes it look more disjointed and irregular. I mean, look at her arms in this scene. What exactly is going on with her hands? I have no idea. Her legs. What. The. I. Don't. Even. The whole scene where she's doing her post-transformation posing/posturing is just freakish in the anatomical errors. (Apologies if photos don't work, new to the "posting photos on forum" thing.) Now this was leaving out the many times characters eyes do not match up or are not in the right place on their faces (Picasso, anyone?). This happens to pretty much everyone with any significant screen time, even Jadeite. Honestly, the production quality is just so poor it's hard to see past it. This isn't a show that was "rushed" by any stretch of the word and to see such shoddy work is just extremely disappointing. You can watch ANY new show this season and see better work. But of course I'll keep coming back for more. I love SM too much to even allow the hot mess Toei is churning out to deter me. |

 For a series that was announced 2 years ago, and is biweekly, this is really unacceptable. Definetely waiting for Blu-ray rips. |
| ^Thank you to the previous posters who have posted examples of the janky art and proportions. Rei's transformation scene was decent enough, but besides that, the production values are all over the place. Come the fuck on, Toei. It's only two episodes per month! Get it together. |
| The faces are getting worse and worse each episode. What will we get at the end of the season? Stick figures? Oh wait, they're already sticks. Rei's transformation was okay though, the best one so far. Maybe it's because fire is hard to ruin in 3d. |

| Rei is the best! <3 Her transformation blows the classic one away by far while still keeping the major classic elements. New:  Classic:  I totally forgot about that "6:00" bus. This episode literally is the redo of classic's episode 10, except for Jadeite doing the actual kidnapping this time around. |

| Well, finally Sailor Mars appear and thanks to the original anime she is not one of my favourite one, and its because the alwasy fight with Usagi and its too childish comparing to her manga version. |
| LOL usagi is funny, who gets off a bus to follow someone jsut because theyre attracted to them. didnt watch the original or read the manga but what is sailor mars like? i heard she was adapted differently in the original? and why did everyone refer to her as being beautiful, isnt that meant to be sailor venus' thing |
