The Blu-ray versions fixed almost all of the errors, so the movies will use the corrected version as the source material. These movies are unnecessary, but they'll do the job in keeping the hype up. I'm actually more stoked to hear the re-dub and new sound mix. I'm a bit of an surround sound whore/audiophile, so I'll look forward to hear the fantastic soundtrack with a new bombastic mix. But yeah, for the others, it's basically filler until S2 is ready. |

| I don't really mind recaps so long as they trim down all the unnecessary stuff from 1st season (Trost arc in particular was duh~). Because honestly, AoT anime felt very bloated, uneven, and excessively hammy to the point of total joke. Cutting off those banalities would allow for more focused and tightened plot, something that i had hoped sooo much during the Female Titan arc. |

| Not sure why everyone is getting annoyed with this announcement. It's not like these movies are going to delay SnK Season 2, or are you forced to watch them for any reason. Also these movies to have a purpose. They allow people to watch the series that didn't have the time to watch it with it's late-airing time, or the money to pay $70+ for each of the 9 volumes. It's a great way to spread the SnK love around in Japan. |

| So before they make a season 2 they want us to remember all the disappointments from the series compressed into 2 movies, nice. While they are many great unfinished series out there, crap gets movie recaps. Don't get me wrong at 1st I thought this series was going to be amazing but after episode 10 or so it just got retarded and cliché quick... I stopped watching it at episode 20 because there was no point in completing a disappointing series |

| Well, episode 1 - 13, removing all the unnecessary recaps and pacing problems, kinda fits for a movie format. CT's first appearance at the start of the movie and eren plugging up the breach for the ending. Same thing with ep 14 - 25 but, that's how i look at it anyway. Would watch if there's some new scenes animated but for now, not interested. |
