| I like the OP and the ED. Haruka Nanase is a guy who likes water. He says no to everything except when a swimming pool is involved. Makoto Tachibana is the best friend of the water guy. Nagisa Hazuki is also a friend of theirs. They all like swimming. Rin Matsuoka is a competitive guy who likes being the best. He was once a good guy, but Australia changed him. Gou Matsuoka (Kou) is the sister of the Australian guy. She is proof that there are girls in this anime. Can't wait to see where this all goes. |

| Okay, the anime seems pretty cool and I really like it so far. I'm kind of disappointed that it seems to be following a stereotypical sports anime/manga format, but I'm going to roll with it for now. (I like to see things be totally different in some way.) I kind of thought that the foreshadowing and symbolism at the ending credits was pretty cool. I like that the characters seem to have certain animals that represent them. I am honestly looking forward to this series. ^__^ |
| From what I'd seen around, I expected it to be more comedy and pure unadulterated fanservice than what it was. I'm glad it turned out to be better than I expected, definitely watching more. |

| The animation and art are so good. Gotta love their six-packs. Their voices and names are also really cute... This somehow reminds me of Uta No Prince Sama, even though it isn't even similar. |

| Those names, Nagisa from Clannad, Haru as in Haruka from Little Busters, same with Rin, and we also have his sister Gou (She saying it said Kou...somewhat close to Kyousuke?) Them siblings. Nice touch there, KyoAnime. My first impression of this show is pretty much an anime with chill tone to it and a relax watch from all the action I'm watching from last season of anime. I will continue to watch, and the fanservice that people are moaning about isn't that obnoxious compared to other fan services I've seen. Also the OST for this show is pretty good as well. |

| Huh. Not really sure what I was expecting but yep ... fanservice galore? :P K these kids were pretty adorable as kids. Also I sure wasn't expecting Rin to be my favourite (so far, at least) but yeah ... he is. I suppose having one of my fav seiyuus voice him doesn't hurt either haha :P Also Gou is really pretty too! :3 So looks like Haruka's the "stoic" one, Nagisa's the "childish" one ... eh, IDK, seems like it'll just be your typical high school slice of life (with swimming and fanservice). I mean, the animation was really nice in this episode but I was kind of a little disappointed D: Rin comes back from Australia and they sneak into his school ... I think they exaggerate Haruka's need to be in the water a bit too much. I was getting kind of annoyed how he just always wore his trunks and just stripped. I mean like, at 17 you should know just not to do this kind of stuff -_- OP and ED were both enjoyable I guess but I think I like the ED more (though the animation there is kind of o_O). It's ... catchy? :P IDK, the Engrish kind of irks me XD ONWARDS! |
| Took me a while to get round to this but so far I'm glad I did. With likeable characters and what looks like a decent plot this show might turn out to be very good indead. Nothing less from the people that brought you Clannad. |

Some people said that there are fanservices, while it might be true, I don't view them as unnecessary. Unlike what you've seen from many anime out there, boobs juggling 24/7, cleavage 24/7, bikini 24/7, nipples 24/7, panties 24/7, and what else? Super moelicious blushing female? Hopefully Free won't be those cliche as hell anime, because I've seen so much to be able to predict what's coming next. >hope I am wrong though< |

Very simple plot, which is about friendship, and swimming ... of beautiful big boy! : D Narration nice, the characters are still mentioned, the music is good that the OP ED and also those of the background! Let's see how they perform in the future! ;) By virtue of being only the beginning, my vote is not up! LOL |

I was going to watch it ages ago because I started downloading it ages ago but then I forgot to get the rest and finally watched the first one today. I really enjoyed it, it's a nice story with nice animation and great characters! I loved them all. Especially Haru, he was funny! Wearing his trunks in the bath and taking his pants off outside the pool lol. They're hot! love the manservice <3 |

| Very unrealistic that a guy would admit to being afraid of the dark in front of his friends, lol. I guess that's supposed to be cute or something. Would've been nicer if these were girls swimming, but the show seems ok, I guess. The visuals are stunning that's for sure. |
| a little too homoerotic but tolerable for now... that ED song is cutting it close though... hopefully the swimming match itself doesn't disappoint |

| Finally I got started in watching this anime! I've been meaning to watch this but have been holding out on it cos I lacked interest. But after seeing many tumblr posts pointing out that Kiyoshi Teppei from KnB and Makoto are similar, I quickly mustered enough interest to watch it haha. Since Kiyoshi's my fav KnB character. :D Anw I liked the premise so far and I like the relaxed atmosphere of the series. And I love the camaraderie btwn Makoto, Haruka and Nagisa. I love a group of friends who do things together and goof around with each other. :) I really don't get what's Haruka's deal with 'being ordinary' but I guess I'll find out as I watch more eps. |

| Damnit, I should've watch this sooner. Its fucking awesome. I like the character design and the animation. The OP and ED was great, it's quite catchy. Nagisa looks like a girl and the way he act. Gou is so cute :3 I would love to have a sister like her. |

| i don't really like the OP, but i love the ED. the episode felt really forced because they just randomly met rin and didn't think anything of it. idk, it just feels really weird for me. i can already tell that rin will be one of my favorites. also that glasses guy, idk his name yet. |

| i'm rewatching it and i have to confess free is one of my favourite animes ever. okay, there is fanservice and BL undertones and a lot of really hot guys shirtless and stripping everywhere but what makes free really good is that without all that, it would still be enjoyable. i actually sat through all the 18 pages of comments because i was curious and i don't get all the hate it got. i'm not saying it because i'm their target audience [which i'm not] or because OMG SO MUCH GAY, this is actually a nice slice of life with beautiful art and good animation. it may not be for everyone, but come on, why all the hate? anyway, i'm ranting, i actually just wanted to say that i REALLY love nagisa! <3 |
