How is that not character development? And again, you keep saying the scene was targeted at otakus and now 15 year old virgins. Really? Do you REALLY think it's targeted at them and not just, I don't know, MALES? I guess every single guy that goes to strip clubs, watches porn, hires prostitutes/escorts are all just 15 year old virgins/otakus. Let's get real here. If you show that scene to any non otaku/15 year old virgin, like, say, someone that's really into football and has a girlfriend/wife, I guarantee you they'd love it. It's what guys love, except for maybe the minorities like you that has issues with something so trivial. I also assure you that nobody had issues when Angelina Jolie was seen butt naked in the movie 'Wanted'. Infact, the entire movie theatre erupted in cheers. I'd imagine you'd think that scene was cheap and annoying, though. Clearly pandering for all the virgins that watched the movie. Last but not least, we saw in Ep 2 that there is a connection between Sakamoto and Himiko. Your idea of Sakamoto leaving Himiko behind would have completely made that ep ( And the important development between the two ) pointless, since it's painfully obvious the two were meant to be together if the cover of the anime didn't make this obvious already. |

Wow did you even read what I wrote? Character development - the change in characterization of a dynamic character, who changes over the course of a narrative. Character development is different than characterization. Since the first episode, Sakamoto was portrayed as immature, rude, and just overall nasty. Then five episodes later, his character is developing as we see him become a bit more mature and grow (and become a total badass). And then that all gets tossed aside as the writer decided to throw in a fan service scene at the sacrifice of Sakamoto's character. And yea, he didn't kill the kid. Instead, he took away all of his food and weapons and tied him to a tree, and then left. He obviously didn't give a single shit about the kid's life, he just didn't want to be the one to take it. He's hardly compassionate. And besides, my problem wasn't that he stayed with Himiko. Why do you think that? I just stated that he should have had other priorities than sneaking a peak. He's a guy just like most of the viewers, and I guarantee you if placed in the same situation of a hot chick laying unconscious in front of them, most people would be tempted to sneak-a-peek. There were many parts of the movie that showed playful, comedic scenes. Like the one where he flips his car OVER his targets car, and as they're rolling over it it goes in slow motion and the MC shoots the target through his moonroof while saying "I'm sorry", or when he lashed out at his boss and smashed his friends face with a keyboard and the letters flew at the screen that said "Fuck you". Or when he was trying to get his gun from his apartment and his girlfriend was in there, Angelina Jolie goes in and starts making out with him out of nowhere. Point is, the scene in btooom would have fit perfectly in the Wanted movie. If it were in it, it would have been done in a comedic way. I'll say this though. It's amusing arguing with people when it comes to trivial things. Sooo...if you're complaining about being in an argument about trivial things, you have no one else to blame but yourself. | Great episode with a good mix of suspense action and drama. Because of the flashback in episode 2 the heroines actions made sense. I liked seeing Ryouta's thoughts and his way of thinking in this show, he is very relatable and if I was in his situation that'd be pretty close to how'd I react and feel. Ryouta ecchi face was hillarious by the way just trying to get a look at her panties and his "I can't speak" engrish voice was funny as hell with the girl getting pissed for being mistaken as a foreigner Komodo Dragons descending upon our trio should be an intense episode next time |
| Kinda weird I was just watching komodo dragons on national geographic a few days ago & I saw them in anime form already but then again it happens to me all the time. But anyways this episode was pretty good.I could not set my eyes off from the screen btw I support Himiko x Ryouta now. |

| I have to go by and finish with this anime. Easily one of the worst this season. Good that it has 8 episodes left. And bad that it has 8 episode lefts. Will not miss a thing if I had dropped it now, but since it's a 1 cour show, I will probably complete it now that I have seen the first 5 episodes. Only good thing about the anime was Komodo Dragons. Well, at least by now we know they are stranded in one of the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Gili Motang and Padar. Yay! for the mudkipz sending their beta testers to Indonesia, one of the most densely populated countries in the world. 3/5 Edit: Yay! actually only 7 episodes left. Hooray for 12 episodes only! :D |

| The only part of this episode I didn't like was when Ryouta tried to take off Himiko's panties. Like seriously, every other guy on the island is a pervert/rapist fuck, why must they give us a reason to hate the protagonist, the guy we're supposed to be rooting for, by making him the same as them? By not raping her it doesn't make him heroic, it makes him a decent fucking human, which is questionable because he still considered it. |

I'm not sure why the lizards were neccessary as the cliffhanger, I would have much more enjoyed Sakamoto pondering about his relationship with his mother, because he is no nice guy either. |
