| I just moved FLCL up to my number one after yet another rewatch. Just really paying attention to it, knowing what I've known, know now, and knowing I will learn even more the next time I watch it... the cinematic way that its animated, the technique involved to make it possible, the perfect narrative blend of plot elements, nuanced characterization, and excellent comic timing. Add the soundtrack on top, and it is flawless. |

| Elfen lied was the 1st 'top favorite' for me...really left me wanting more and replaying favorite scenes and also being in this painfully sad mood for a week. haha then other AMAZING anime quickly followed, haruhi. took awhile but ya definitely cardcaptors and familiar zero TRULY ARE my favs now. and that feeling of "its IMPOSSIBLE TO TOP THEM" is back :D |

| Code Geass was the 7th anime series I ever watched and it has owned the top spot ever since. Not sure what was first back then. Probably, Neon Genesis or FMA. Code Geass has survived 63 series' after I first watched it and it will be hard for anything to ever surpass it in my eyes. |
