| I thought it was kind of corny personally, though I did like the scene at the end with Ichigo and his dad. Other than that, it was meh. |

| Ichigo's father is a real dude. Anyway, I expected the hollow to the die, but what ya' know? Well I think it's better this way, because it kinda sucks for such an important villain to die so early in the series. But Rukia is really so cool character, I just can't get enough of her :0 |

| Man... even after re-watching it, this arc never ceases to bring tears to my eyes... Definitely one of the greatest bonding moments in early Bleach. Especially between Ichigo and Rukia. However, apart from them, the words from that BRO Shinigami and Isshin's scolding of Ichigo at the end... oh man... the respect I felt this episode... "Never forget, Ichigo. You are the man which the woman I fell in love with gave her life to protect. Live to the fullest, age to the fullest, go bald to the fullest, and die long after me. And if possible, die with a smile on your face. Otherwise, I'll never be able to face Masaki."– Kurosaki Isshin" 10/10 for the mini arc. |

And later it will be fully explained (in a longer flashback) what (to whom it refers). The guy, by the way, didn't refer to Ichigo at all (he used only 'he' pronouns.) |

| Good ending for this small arc. The talk between father and son at the end of the episode was nice. Isshin is one of the coolest dads I've seen in anime. |

| Pretty nice ending for this small arc, it sure is a tragic ending and well I'm sure that we'll see that filthy Hallow once more later on! He'll get his revenge one day! |

| That is really sad episode and I believe he should have died but everyone is saying that same thing good thing he got past it though hopefully when they fight again if they fight again he cant use the mom against him because he needs to die |

| I loved the ending of the episode. I really enjoyed the talk between Ichigo & his father...his dad is a really awesome guy. Definitely another really touching & sad episode. |

| Liked that episode, this hollow sure is disturding x( Though the show bamboozles me with sudden comedy during serious scenes. The scene with Ichigo's father was neat. Oh and didn't expect mom's death mystery to be revealed that quick. |

| last episode: rukia: she was killed by hollow, ichigo: she didn't! this episode: yeah she does, how surprise. really can't remember if ichigo finished that "guy" some other time. wanted little more with rukia, oh well |
