| Hmm. this season's OP song sounds similar to the first season's. This picked up literally right after the previous season with events, characters, etc. Atushi's determination is still very evident as all this drama unfolded. It does feel more or less like a buildup though, to perhaps something more sinister. Glad to see this season back especially since it was obvious they couldn't resolve the plot the previous. |

| Well thank god it's a continuation for S4, I'll admit, this arc is probably one of the longest that this series has to offer and it's still ongoing in the manga. This episode solds me with Ranpo's way of doing his detective works in order to protect his friends from the agency, thanks to his obvious loads of experience, he took in each and every detail of how everything is set-up. |

| This is probably the first time since season 1 where the series has started with the present day and not another prequel arc. And I'm thankful for that. Picking up where we left off, Ranpo proving himself as the MVP of this arc once again. The little bait and switch he pulled off was neat. Meanwhile, it seems that Nikolai no longer has any allegiance to the DOA and now wants to kill Fyodor. We'll see how that goes. Fyodor is no easy opponent. Minoura being the one to believe Ranpo is quite heartwarming, considering how much he hated him back in season 1. |
| Back after 3 months with a new SEASON.. not that c-word. And damn no flashback start after so long. Of course Kunikida and Sigma are alive, though we knew about Sigma but still. To think Nikolai wants to kill Fyodor is kind of a surprise, but then again he's that kind of a character at the end of the day. Fucking knew Ranpo would do something to get everyone back.. and he did it the way only he and he alone could do and pull through lol. Now the only thing that remains is to prove the innocence of the Agency and Ranpo has already laid the necessary groundwork for that. GOAT Dazai may not to be at the scene right now but Ranpo is.. and he's proving why he's the best man after him. Good return. And as always the theme songs didn't disappoint. |

| For the first time since Season 1, a new season is not beginning with a flashback, likely because this is a continuation of the events of Season 4, which ended with the Sky Casino portion of the story. It was as thrilling as ever, with a nice twist with Ranpo. Dazai's not around to save the day as he remains trapped with Fyodor, so Ranpo is coming in clutch once more. A good premiere to get us back into the swing of things. |

Man, I love Bungou Stray Dogs. I also wonder how much of the manga is unadapted rn, I remember hearing that the anime is close to catching up with it. |

I loved this episode so much and because I haven´t read the manga I was actually really surprised who was behind all of this. gosh, loving Ranpo more and more! what a genius!!! also is Ranpo 26? since he had been solving crimes for 12 years and he was 14 in the flashback? I would have guessed he is younger than Dazai though. |

| Three months passed by in a flash, and now Bungou Stray Dogs season 5 is here. For once, we aren't starting with a flashback, which I'm grateful for as that quite frankly would mess up the flow of the story imo. Glad we're picking up right where season 4 ended. This man Ranpo, literally putting the Agency on his back lol. Only he could pull off some 5,000 IQ trick to free his comrades like that. MVP easily. This is just the first episode and Ranpo has already exposed the framing of the Agency on national TV, I didn't think the truth would come out until much later. I'm excited to see this arc continue and to see what more it has to offer. This series has flipped back and forth between Granrodeo and Screen Mode for each season's OP, so with this being an odd-numbered season, we have Granrodeo back with another banger. They don't miss. And of course, Luck Life blessing us with yet another banger ED. Bungou has been all hits, no misses with the theme songs, 5 seasons (so far) worth of consistency. |

| this was an absolute banger first episode for the season. so much happened in this one episode and i feel like it really set the tone for the rest of the season. i think it might end up being the best bsd season yet. ranpo saving the day like the literal god he is, and poe providing crucial assistance. hopefully ranpo's speech will convince at least a few people of the fact the ada is innocent. the opening was also so good. im genuinely so excited for the rest of this season. extremely happy to have bsd wednesdays back for the next couple months |

| Damm what a choice for Kunikida. Quite the trick indeed falling from the casino and then being spat out by the hat that caught you while recovering. Lol Lucy and Kyouka as Atsushi's bodyguards. Well if anything prison's not supposed to be fun. Rampo was ever the wild card thats for sure. But his plan sure was damm impressive. Now its finally time to unravel the enemies plan and show the true villains. Still really digged Ramp's speech there. |

| Bungou stray dogs is back after just one season and what a way to make a comeback with an absolute banger. Ranpo the legend delivering yet again, what a guy. Loved the episode and it's time for the agency to truly fight back. |

| Peak is back on the menu. Only complaint I got is I don’t like the OP song. Visuals are fire but the song is their first miss imo. Might grow on me. As for the episode, all I got to say is Ranpo is the Goat. The twist of him being Kamui in disguise genuinely caught me off guard. Very well written. Ever since that flashback arc from last season he’s really grown on me. Not only did he rescue the ADA, but also trying to clear their name to the press. Just shows how much trust Dazai got in him that he placed all his hopes and expectations on Ranpo. Lot of stuff in this episode, action, the usual banter and dialogue we’ve come to expect from BSD and important world building. Gonna be a special season. |

| Its back with a new season and it starts right after the casino incident. I'm glad that Doppo survived but he sadly lost his hands and got captured by one of the blood hounds. Sigma got rescued by Nikolai as well and Nikolai says that he's gonna kill Fyodor. Atsushi and the others are forming a plan but Atsushi collapses and when he is resting this guy is trying to pull a fast one with his gun, wtf. Atsushi wakes up on time and tells them where the page is located and its in the hands of one of the bloodhounds. He also says that an assassination is now happening against Doppo. Doppo gets knocked out and dragged. Someone drives Akiko also away in a car after putting an explosion. Katai got teleported into an phone lol. Yukichi gets kidnapped sorta and he thinks that he needs to jump from the building but then the masked guy reveals himself and its Ranpo. Ranpo then explains to Yukichi how he planned everything out. There's a press conference going on and they wait on someone or something but that one lady wants to after the supposed terrorists. Ranpo then casually sits there and explains how Nikolai went to work with his plans and shoved all the blame on the Agency. Ranpo got the spotlight this episode. |

| Once again, Bungou Stray Dogs continues to excite me and hook me along. Excellent start to pick up where we left off last season here. I am looking forward to seeing when Akutagawa shows up cause he has been noticeably absent in all of this and Tachihara in what he does from here since he knows the truth as well |

| I wasn't feeling the OP at all until the nostalgia of OP1 suddenly striked. Ranpo has to take a break from all the carrying he has been doing since the beginning of S4. |
