| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I'm not surprised that their coach is tough. Still, it means that she's serious about making these guys into pros and has knowledge about diving. Pretty much more of a buildup and training episode. I'm starting to like Tomoki slightly as he's working hard to develop his skills. Out of all the main leads, I think perhaps Shibuki has the most potential and perhaps the coach realizes it. |

| Wow, this ep. got a bit more interesting with the training (that got me want to comment, in comparison to what I mentioned in ep.1). The female coach, from the US, has unique coaching (but just teaching the basics), and she said the main guy has a body that able to dive well. Only he maintained the special training she gave to junior high combi. The female coach recruited a guy who only dived in the sea, whose grandfather was a legend. So the female coach was granddaughter of the man who launched the club. His dive surprised the main guy. 25:05 next. |

| Tomoki had the most determination out of everyone but it seems like his constant practising is affecting his friendships. Shibuki did a crazy dive but he needs to work on the entry. Tomoki's brother is interested in his girl. Didn't see that coming. |

| To be honest, I still feel like this show aspires to be great but falls terribly short. A much better episode than the first, though since we get to see a new 'special' character as well as a strict teacher that might just turn around the tables(or rather who definitely will). Good to see more enthusiasm and passion from our main character going through the troublesome daily workout routine. The fact that he's double-jointed just makes it crystal clear now of his speciality. Also, kind of disappointed to not see Miu Nomura around this episode for I wished for an understanding and clearance after her last encounter with Tomoki. Whereas, Tomoki's brother love interest caught me by surprise there. |

| Double-jointed Boi Tomoki... I was wonder what his special edge was going to be. This coach is amazing, hot and smart. I'm loving her! This episode was more exciting to watch then last ... not just because of the coach... but just felt like their was more action? Not sure Maybe I'm just liking the show better! Also new Boi gonna push out double jointed boi |

| I am happy to see it was a better episode then last week. I wasn't surprised that his bro wanted his woman, I was more surprised that Tomoki actually showed some concern. I didn't think he'd care at all. XD I like coach lady, she seems to be what they need. I'm much more interested in it now that it seems to be going somewhere. |
| I'm proud of Ace-kun for checking out the coach's ass lol, he understands that she's the best xD Decent episode overall, the coach is already pretty effective which is nice and the boys are more or less pretty determined to get a lot better too which is a good thing The new guy seems interesting as well |

| Boys checking out the ass of the coach is the best method the author could've come up with to proof nobody is gay in this show xD And I agree with others that this episode was indeed better than the previous one, especially due to the fact it focussed more on the training aspect which I value highly about sports anime. I was also fond of the determination the charas showed. |

| Enjoyable episode. I like the coach. She's set her sights on something and wants to get there no matter what. Glad to see that she noticed Tomoki has the potential to be one of the best in diving. No Miu this episode but I find it obvious that Tomoki wasn't happy when his brother said that he'd rather take her away from him. Maybe Tomoki doesn't show that he cares but maybe he does? He took things for granted and now that he's starting to realize that he might lose her, he doesn't like it. As I said earlier, it'll either be that Tomoki will come around and still be with Miu or she will end up with his brother. I doubt the latter will happen but let's wait and see. |
| Nice episode, this is turning out way better than Battery which is a very good thing. I'm starting to like Tomoki a lot more since he's starting to show a lot of diligence and passion towards diving. The coach is great, glad to see her motivate Tomoki. Double jointed eh? Tomoki shows a lot of promise. The whole 'View only you can see' reminded me of Haikyuu and DnA. Youichi checking out the coach's ass was hilarious. XD The new dude seems cool. |

| I thought so last week too, but there's something about the way the bodies are drawn that really bugs me. Maybe it's the proportion of abdomen to waist, or the shoulders are too far back, or the chests are too broad or... I'm not sure. It's like the chest and abdomen make up 90% of their body. Is anyone else put off by it? Anytime I can see guys' nearly naked, toned bodies is good, but something just doesn't quite sit right about them. Yoichi's body especially bugs me. |

There's no interesting stuff between Miyu and Tomoki. Even let say, if their relationship improves, what about it? A girl who blabs about pastries and supportively cheers him in the poolside but doesn't really know any shit about diving... meh~ Miu is still a very young girl and it's true that she knows nothing about diving but that doesn't mean her relationship with Tomoki won't work. I don't ship it but I think their relationship can still work if Tomoki gives her some of his time, which he fails to do so at the moment. You can even notice that he returns his friends' calls but not hers. Well, maybe it's typical for a boy his age as he wants to spend more time with his friends and on his hobbies rather than with his girlfriend. Maybe he likes her but not enough. I really hope that he doesn't suddenly get jealous just because his brother starts to show interest in her. |

| I fell in love with the OP; it's really good. Idk why, but I find this anime really boring and freaking slow. And I despise people who are saying this is like Free! like heck no. :/ I'm gonna continue watching this anime, though, and I hope it gets better. |

| Great build up episode !! Tomo is the only one serious about training and going to the Olympics and that's great of him , I really like this character and now i like him more <3 , Yoichi is doing great as always but the other two are not serious at all .. They're like diving for fun and aiming not for the top but for low goals ... Anyways , An enjoyable episode and the new Diver is going to be a great support for Tomo and the others , He's going to inspire them and make them work even harder to be truly fit for the Olympics !! , I'm so hypedd for the Olympics and I'm ready for more , Looking Forward !!!! |
| I was just comparing this to Free thinking to myself that Free at least has some great eye candy. This anime only has Yoichi which is sorta cute. The rest of the main characters are all too young to swoon over. And the new character just looks ridiculous with his eyebrows. And also, Free had lots of comedy moments. This anime does not. I liked the first episode of this, but the second episode was lacking. I was expecting a new Free, but i guess that was wrong of me to do. |

| This was another enjoyable episode, I liked it!! It was great to see Tomo work hard, by faithfully following Asaki's training regime. It's unfortunate that Tomo's school friends don't understand his passion for diving, so they were upset that he rejected their invitation to hang out... But Tomo probably isn't that close with his schoolmates, since he only has pictures of his diving friends in his room. :/ But I'm glad Tomo's diving friends understood him! :) They seemed a little surprised at first that Tomo was actually training, but instead of asking him something like, "Why are you working so hard?", they all agreed to sprint to the convenience store together and ate Popsicles. So, Tomo was working hard and having fun. <3 Last episode, I was hoping that Hiro and Miu won't date later, unless it's executed convincingly... So I wasn't surprised that Hiro admitted that he already told Miu that she should date him instead. If Hiro really does like Miu, it would make sense why he's been upset about Tomo's negligence, and kept nagging the elder brother to contact his girlfriend. I'm happy we met Shibuki! Shibuki is so cool when he dives into the ocean!! XD He really does jump high! I look forward to seeing how Shibuki will improve his diving entries, and how he will bond with the rest of the Mizuki Diving Club. :) It's great that we got some backstory about Asaki too: she is the granddaughter of the man who founded the Mizuki Diving Club. Asaki used to dive, ever since she was eight years old, and went to the US. She's now a coach. It's actually sweet that Asaki could continue diving, but is choosing to train the boys, and is doing her best so her grandfather's diving club won't close down. It was cool to learn that Tomo is double-jointed, which means he'll definitely improve. Let's see how Tomo will reach to the top! I love our main character's determination to enter the Olympics. :D Thank you Asaki! Hmm...I hope Youichi and Keisuke don't just talk about diving! >< It would be nice to see the father-son pair have cute family moments... Separate their personal and professional lives, basically. :/ The opening and ending theme songs make me so happy. <3 I was actually sad when this episode ended, since I want more, lol. |

| A lot a lot a lot a lot a lot better than the disastrous first episode. I wish this was the first episode. It could've been like this. MC flashback with Yoichi, new trainer introduction (first episode stuff) and then the whole episode 2. That would've been so much better, than showing a GIRL for 5 minutes with useless dialogues and some other useless dialogues between team members. |
