| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That SEEK robot is kinda cool. Otherwise, the CGI was somewhat distracting for me to watch. Decent voice animation though and overall has that sci-fi tone to it. I think I can deal with this for now. Not too shabby overall but nothing too impressive either. |

| Story escalated way to quickly from the first scene, though the execution wasn't bad. Karen is one badass girl with a nice Chinese dress on! Them matrix moves though.. Pretty awesome! I wonder about Touka's death. Who knows, maybe she isn't really dead yet and will join pair with Karen soon. That guy from Jack's Corporation is very shady.. Not sure in which way having sexual contact with a female robot is pleasing. Looks like he's also planning against Karen behind the scene. Hopefully, we'll see him die soon. |

| So is the fact that the hetero-chromatic eyes on Touka switched sides from the opening sequence to the later sequences of any significance to the plot? I can't believe it would be sloppy continuity, particularly since eyes seem to be important in this show what with the patch on the heroine, and the emphasis on taking down machines by shooting them in the eye and all. The 2-D was pretty dreadful at times, but those 3D people in the shopping scene were just fugly. I guess I can let my eyes bleed for 10 minutes a week to watch what might be the comedy of the season. Just one final comment, you'd think the guy from Jack's Recycling would have paid the extra 1000 yen and gotten the robo-hooker to stick the nipples on... |

I'm not a big fan of CGI, actually first anime ever I watched like this, and I can say, I'll prob never get a fan, other then that I did enjoy it a little thought, I do wish they explained a bit more thought, Karen getting randomly attacked like that a few times just makes no sense without info dump. |

| Well, I'll keep watching to see how this turns out but I don't have any high expectations. The art is below decent, though the story seems it could become pretty interesting. 3 out of 5 for this episode from me. |

| I liked it. As a long time anime fan I have to really like something or see potential to like any anime which is so CGI. I was entertained by the first episode and am keen to see how the story develops and other characters etc; |

| Quite interesting! I surprisingly liked that animation and the action definitely wasn't lacking, I look forward to the next ep. |
| This look so much nicer than I expected. The different style is very refreshing. Also, there's not enough sexy robot women in the world. The switching of the heterochromia in the beginning was a bit of an oversight by the animators. |

| Well... this is certainly out there. But not in a bad way per say. The CG does look pretty nice and at least I know it won't bore me. I'll give it a chance like every other anime. |

| I-I don't know how to feel about this. Basically it's begging the drop .. and it's not because of the animations, but because everything else beside the backgrounds is so unappealing. Will keep watching for at least 2 more episodes but I don't feel very confident. |

| Went into watching this not knowing what I was going to get. I am actually surprised how much I actually enjoyed this episode! The anime style is different than what I normally watch, which was very refreshing because I thought it fit the story/time frame. Karen seems to be pretty bad ass with guns, and I want to know more about what happened to Touka and SEEK. I am actually gonna continue watching this and give it a fair chance! |

| I have nothing against CGI but that was kind of hard to watch. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if it's the CGI that bothered me...it's just there's something I don't like. Can't quite put my finger on it. |

| The robot foreplay weirded me out man... I wasn't impressed with the first episode. Depending on where this goes next week, it would be an easy drop. Even if it is only 10 minutes long. |

| I agree with a lot of you with this not being a good first impression. With a show that is about 10 minutes, I understand that it would be difficult to establish any sort of development especially in the first episode. However, I felt they could of used that time doing more important things rather than action, action, action. With that being said, I am not saying that I think it's a bad show yet. I have to see where it goes after a few more episodes. There might be some sort of purpose with this direction of story. |

| whats with those stupid robots poping outta nowhere. Robots rule the world pushing humanity towards the brink of destruction rite? Then why cant they aim for shiet? NOT a single person died, not even from a stray bullet. And the director watched matrix too many times since he is slow-moing a lot of useless scenes. Don't need a slow-motion of a robot falling... And for an organization against the robots, they suck at covering their tracks since they are all over her. I think the director should watch a terminator movie to see what it looks like when robots rule the world... |
