Kiznaiveier and its shopping tactics. I'll review it someday. Ace Attorney was the most despicable cash grab I've ever seen and Joker Game had a pretty refreshing atmosphere; even if its episodic - over rated imo, but still good.

When he does have instances of fear, it's overreactive. I think it's really annoying, considering that most characters are archetypal and one noted and that I don't give a shit about anyone and maybe apart from Rem if her role gets any better in the future. I suppose it's fun to slowly peel the mystery, but that can be mitigated: disable time travel and make Subaru just smart enough to survive shit, so we don't have to see reincarnations of huge chunks of the previous episode, producing less awkward moments. There is also no long term psychological consequences for Subaru to die with these time resets, and he goes back to normal when everything does go well. Thus, the show has a lack of stakes to be had to get me some feels.


There is episode 13 which does present consequences without the need for a reset, but holy fuck did Subaru looked like the dumbest fuck I've ever seen when he faced that high knight. It would be fine if there was a sympathetic background that would make me feel sorry because of his very misunderstood emotions, but this should be a moment when the viewer does know where he's coming from due to his actions being so profoundly illogical, so we can feel sorry for him, with everyone not getting it so their treating him like garbage. Not to just question in our heads: what the fuck is with this guy?... Is he mad?

Hi how's it going? I still watch anime regularly (mostly airing stuff at the moment) and am having a good time.

For the sake of me being cynical, I voted your review as unhelpful, heres why:
You seem to give an awfully high rating for what seems to be decent characters, think about it: what are the standards for you giving certain scores for certain sections of the show. For example, if the story had a message or theme to make you think or it becomes well focused on it, then it gets an 8. One of the best examples of this is NHK, with the show presenting the life of a hikikomori. And really? You give an 8 to that section primarily because of 2 characters? *facepalm* you said that kaito had 2 main personalities: Energetic, boyscout. Which makes him a 2 dimensional character, which in my term, is stupid and you should give that score a 5-6. Are we still cool? Great :)

This point does seem a bit shaky, but its a MUST for quality reviews: do not mix up enjoyment and your critical analysis with the review and the final score. Thise are 2 seperate entities.
