| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Festival begins. The reward helps giving away the glasses. lol @ Those people are not just part of background after wearing glasses!! Main guy's brother at school. no.42 is gone, though. There's trouble to the flying fish thing, and lens are the key. People, even #3, are helping out because he's the one who accidentally got no.42. So there's a pure goal to make a transparent glass, for the little brother, and to make a brighter, colorful world. Yeah, it took 12 eps. to realize that ED is related. lol @ Meganebu sleeping while Student council people cleaning up after them. "Preview" part showing all the meganebu and student council groups (and probably all those megane characters like the teachers? It was too fast that I didn't see all). Edit: I'm not sure, but is this image (right one) the one that shown in "preview" part? |

| This was mostly a filler show to me, quite a few misses and if I were marathoning it I probably would have dropped it after a couple episodes. Either it was an awful color palette, or the colors are way too bright, and it hurt my eyes looking at it. I swear it was screwing around with the cones in my eyes. Ending was meh, but I have to throw my hands up with a cry of "WHAT???" Idiots popped out their own lenses when they could've just taken off their glasses and aimed it as such so they wouldn't have had to smudge up their lenses. And I'm pretty sure they popped out the screws in those frames as well if they had screws holding those lenses in. Didn't care for the show, it was really boring despite the ridiculousness of it, and the only thing that kept me watching were the trivia on glasses. I knew little about glasses despite wearing them myself, so that was the only good thing for me. Everything else was slow and dull. Not watching anything related to this show again, once was enough. 4/10 |

While I don't think he was blind it was implied that Hikaru had very very poor eyesight. Don't be such a cynic. Right. | So the X-ray glasses weren't for seeing under ladies' dresses after all. (The real reason made the thing a whole lot sweeter) This last episode was so sweet and made me happy I didn't give the show up. For me this show was nice, few ups and downs, but I guess that happens when a show is just starting, but I admit, that as a designer and a megane myself I fell in love with the color palette right away. I really have MUCC to thank for picking that show up, and even without them, I would love to see a season 2. |

| I'm into shows that are less about the serious stuff and more about comedy, so Meganebu! was awesome for me. I couldn't dislike any of the characters and although a lot of people disliked Mitsuki, he just wanted sempai to notice him! Anyway, I give the show an 8.5/10 |

| I think this episode was the best out of the entire season. If the entire series was like this then 8/10, but unfortunetly it wasn't that exciting so 5/10. | Absolutely amazing episode, but as a finale it's a little lacking, still, it's pretty great, too bad though people won't support these kind of show, just look at people on the internet get turned off by the "no female cast". ): Gonna miss ya Meganebu! "Meganebu~ bu~ bu~" "All we need is M-E-G-A-N-E" and all the other bgm played, they're fabulous, I want them! Lastly, No Megane, No Life, that's definitely true for my case, without my glasses, everything I see will be blurry. :) Edit: I almost teared up when everyone was supporting the meganebu with those lenses. Oh and by the way, is Hikaru blind? | I felt this series was much stronger and more entertaining in the later episodes. I'm glad I stuck around, it's a silly show but it was a fun ride (would have been better with less Hayato bashing and Mitsuki being annoying). This episode made me think more highly of the series, especially with that reveal about Hikaru. Their motivation (at least Akira's) for making the X-Ray glasses is really sweet and it's nice that the people at their school would give up those stickers to the kid with extremely poor vision. The ending was super cheesy but left me feeling warm and fuzzy. |

| Eh, this episode was somewhat better than the rest... but still wasn't my cup of tea. Can simply say that I'm glad it's over. If the characters had more life to them I could've enjoyed the series, but except when they started working on this "blizzard tower" thing, they acted like a bunch of autistic people who are far too easily entertained. But whatever, props to those who enjoyed the series. |

| 10/10 great refreshing cheerful meaningless and beautiful anime series ! nice characters ALL OF THEM ! (really people you need to get over Mitsuki and udnerstand his kind of people ! O.o ) beautiful OST and art ! I am really stunned :) totally WONDERFUL ENDING ~ totally satisifed :D it was obvious after the storm something will go wrong, but still they did damn awesome job :) really not technic school for just name ~ and Student Council XDDD mfg love them all ~ world needs more things like this >_< it's such a waste people can;t get a life with that side and enjoy it so actually many youngsters don;t understand this show :/ it was funny, pretty, also got serious points but easy and understandable with imagination and heart ~ aside that, I RECOMMEND it to everyone ~ PEOPLE GET A GRIP AND ENJOY LIFE AND TRY TO MAKE IT NICE TO YOURSELF AND OTHERS ~ it isn't all pink rainbows but you can make it always colorful :) also it was like watching me and my friends XD now I know we aren't only one ~ will rewatch this for sure ! |

| Awww what a touching last episode T_T Good for you Suzuki, Akira has finally called you by your real name! The part where each pair hugged each other is so cute! So sad that the X-Ray glasses were broken at the end... Hikaru is so cute! Really caring of Akira to make the X-Ray glasses so that his little brother can see the world :D Can't believe it ended there... Overall 7/10 for this show. Eps 2-9 were kinda meh but the last 3 eps and the first ep are really good. Quite a relaxing show, and even though it can be pretty meh at times, I didn't feel like it was a burden to watch at any point of time that I watched. |

| This was definitely one of the better episodes of the whole series. The very end was actually pretty unexpected for a show this idiotic (not in a good way). Hm, the OP and ED were pretty catchy and the animation was bright and different, but the plot was god awful, most of the character were flat or I disliked... It was a struggle to finish this. 3/10 |

| The ending made this series so much better for me! I never assumed the x-ray glasses were for peeping at people really, but I just adore the true reason. I kept wondering why Akira's brother was so relevant in a way that no one else's family was. High points of the show include the mostly stunning visuals and likable main characters. Lowest is the lack of character development, though I wasn't expecting that kind of thing from this kind of anime. I enjoyed Meganebu! It was pretty cute. Um.... 5 or 6 out of 10. I'm still deciding. |

| I like how, except for Student Council members, all the other students were faceless drones until they put on glasses. They literally weren't human if they weren't wearing glasses. There's probably something really underhanded about all this, but I suppose it's the thought that counts. |

On my first watch, I completely overlooked the last scene with Hikaru and Akira. I didn't realize he was blind until now. That's actually really touching. Yeah, so I cried at the end. The entire show they've been trying to make those glasses for Hikaru. Yeah, spectacular ending! I really liked the climax when Suzuki and Akira shone the X Ray lenses at the Fish Balloon. It was epic. Solid show overall, with a few mundane things here and there. My actual rating will be a 7 but I feel bad that this has a low average on MAL so I'll reward it with a satisfying 8. |

| No megane, no life! "We are Meganebu!" + "All we need is M-E-G-A-N-E" is forever gonna be stuck in my head. Overall probably, maybe a 7/10? But honestly I loved this shit so much and it's so fucking underrated I'm giving it an 8/10. This doesn't deserve the low scores and hate it gets. Seriously... I'm vexed. I'm hoping to see more stuff like this from Soubi in the future. Also a full length BL series. This is something that I would easily watch a second season of. Also, Tomohisa Sako having a theme song performance was fuckin' golden. Reminds me he does one in Kimi to Boku. 2! I might watch that next? |
