That Ibuki guy is such a playboy lol

I have to admit, Natsusa is a clever guy in getting his attention. Looks like the episode foused a lot on Ibuki and his character personality. Compared to the rest, he's more of the rebellious type but I can live with it.

Nice episode, I love how they play with guiltiness theme. But it has one significant weakness, Natsusa hinted that Ibuki is not a virgin, while it shouldn't be a problem for general audience, it could upset some group of people including me, in a show that the 'target audience' expect all characters to be virgin, or have same-sex relationship instead of the opposite one.

So there's a Thai character appear and speak in this episode, it should be noted that his first name 'Pongsaklek' is probably from famous Thai boxer, while his family name 'Yunu' suggested that he's from the southern part of Thailand, and probably a muslim.

Too cliched, but not a bad episode. It would have been better if the writer tried being a little more vulnerable when writing the scene where the two boys were arguing (if that's the right word).

Omg I really love this episode! We got to see the whole bike fiasco and more of Natsusa's twisted personality. I relly like Natsusa's personality lol. Omg and the final scene with the passcode 🥺🥺🥺 that was so cute. There won't be any rugby playing until ep.4 but I am not disappointed at all. The red head dude at the end peeping in the church. I feel like the next episode is going to center around him. Very excited to see where this anime is heading. Sucks to know that the MAL community feels like it's a 6/10, but I went to check Try Knight's rating which is at a 4/10 so I feel less bad lol. Can't wait for the next episode

Poor Ibuki. It wasn't his fault, but he had to suffer from the guilt of being responsible for his friend's life-altering injury. His motivations were well explained, he has a good reason to rejoin the team. Natsusa really went gung-ho to get him back. I hope they don't drop Ibuki after this episode.

This show is pretty ok so far, I'm confused why the score is nearly in the 5's.

I like how Natsusa's all cute, but also has a sadistic side.

Ibuki is a handsome dude, I can't get why will he visit a hostess club? Strange choice tbh

Really liked this episode too. We got to see more of Natsusa's mischievous personality which I like; too many times MCs in his positions are the "uwu i'm so pure and innocent baby boy" type, so it's nice to see someone with range. Though, all of the characters' personalities are still kinda vague, so I hope we get to see a deeper look into them in the future- especially Natsusa's since he's the MC and there are so many possibilities for him because of the accident. Other than that, it was a nice episode. Art is amazing in this anime, though there are few moments where I would've liked them to animate it so that it would fit the scene better (show more emotion).

What else... Oh yeah, those flashbacks would work better if this whole Ibuki thing wouldn't have been resolved in the second episode. I'm not that invested in the characters yet, so when that church scene didn't do anything for me.

Still not rugby, but the story of the accident is finished, it's good to know about what happened.

Natsusa x Ibuki have to be romantically involved, also the whole church scene and silent whispering and everyone looking in, and how close they were,...whoever wrote this anime knows what they are doing for us.

Still vastly compelling anime, vastly.

More like I don't want them to involve with women, doesn't matter what their gender is. So if they're straight, they should stay virgin 'as a fanservice'.

2 Episodes in and the only rugby moment was through a flashback.
This is obviously a shounen ai thing than trying to be a sport focus show.
I give up rugby is cursed in anime form.

As the new manager, Natsusa is definitely NOT leaving his disadvantage towards the back heeler, but utilizing every ounce of his efforts to trump down "big shots".

First up, getting quitted members like Ibuki-senpai back like a cunning fox, using his injury as a facade, and then persuading him on all fronts, every nook and cranny, anywhere and everywhere, despite him being responsible for Natsusa's injury since the freak accident a.k.a the "I hurt Natsusa" cliché. Regardless, the yaoi teasing is great this episode!

It's laughable that Natsusa is freaking savage to know his teammates well, but on the creepy front too. But he's thinking the long-term for all people, which can be said as the defining moment for his characterization.

Episode 2 with many laughs but also regrets with Natsusa's persistence to play rugby despite getting hurt in a way that stops his ideal dream there and then. More of a Shounen Ai than a rugby show, but I can say it's on a better footing than the lifeless Try Knights.

That's really dumb, the purpose of the show is NOT just fanservice, you created your own head canon about these guys being virgins or not straight and that's your fault. That isn't a problem of the anime but your own expectations (as well as anyone else since the genre isn't even shounen ai.

Ibuki is a cool character. His motivations are nuanced and complex. Probably my favourite in this anime.

We don't know what kind of people we truly are until the moment before our deaths.
As death comes to embrace you, you will realise what you are.
That's what death is, don't you think?

lol yeah those were some crazy measures Natsusa resorted to. I see the silliness of all that stuff he did as a way of showing Ibuki that he still likes him after the accident. That persistence was effective in getting Ibuki out of his blaming-himself funk. Just the heart-to-heart at the end probably would have sufficed but I think this episode served another purpose of establishing Natsusa's calculative nature that will be used in strategies in the Rugby matches.

W..what? I'm oblivious to such things, but where was the implication that he wasn't a virgin, the club scene? Even then, he's a third-year college student who's at least 21 since he can drink, it shouldn't be surprising if he had sex. And would having sex even ruin him being in any type of relationship, same-sex or not? I don't understand that.

The scene after ending song, Natsusa suggest that Ibuki doesn't have a girlfriend, but has 'friend with benefits'.

This anime is much better than I expected. It has a unique protagonist who isn't weak or need others to inspire him. He takes care of himself and creates his playing field.

This anime is not really here to be a sports anime but something else, which I'll take. I can see this anime being really good as a whole since it's pacing is fast.

Also, yeah, this anime is better at BL than most actual BLs hahahah. I know it won't be but damn, the potential is there.

For now, rugby only seem to be a side dish, if anything. Natsu may be cute but I think he's overdoing it with the sadism/guilt-trip thing. The bike question was uncalled for, especially given how guilty Ibiki is already feeling about the situation. Must be the fact he eats like a tick. Eating little surely makes him more sadistic hahaha It's good to have a redhead protagonist once in a while. Redheads leads are so underrated.
