Synopsis

The infidelity of Eita Kidou's parents not only made his family fall apart, but also made him skeptic of love. Having no intention to delve into romance, Eita devotes his entire high school life to his studies in order to become a doctor.

It did not take long for the beautiful and popular Masuzu Natsukawa to notice Eita's apathy. Tired of being the object of people's affection, she asks him to pretend to be her boyfriend, as she too feels disgusted at the notion of love. Eita, however, refuses—yet Masuzu has one trick left up her sleeve: Eita’s journal and threatening to post the embarrassing content online if he does not comply.

Now entangled in a fake romance with the most desired girl at school, Eita's life is turned upside down. Whether envied by his peers or receiving a confession, he must cope with his newfound relationship and all the troubles that come along with it.

Man I hope there's a season two, I wanna see Kaori Asoi in the show.

Not my usual type of review, I just want a season two because of the above reason, if you want my honest opinion apart from that, it's a run of the mill high school romance harem show. None of the characters are especially interesting or unique, due to all the trickery there's an excess of cringe comedy in this show, which is really bad for someone like me who suffers heavily from vicarious embarrassment, but otherwise it's pretty run of the mill "trying not to deal with a bunch of girls ...

Mixed Feelings
Oh come on...

---Story---
'Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru' (Oreshura for short) is a romantic comedy harem anime about a small club formed to help female students become popular. This club, however, slowly shifts into a group of female students who want to date Eita, our main character.

---Art---
The art is very bright and cheerful. The animation is pleasant to watch and there was never anything I would classify as poor quality.

---Character---
Easily the best part of the series, and no doubt why you'll keep watching more. No character feels two-dimensional (ironic), and it's a blast watching them interact with Eita and with eachother throughout the ...

I went in expecting a light-hearted rom-com, but what I got was a messy, frustrating watch that left me feeling meh.

First off, the whole premise of Eita and Masuzu's "relationship" felt forced and fake from the start. I mean, come on, Masuzu basically strong-armed Eita into a fake relationship just because she was tired of being approached by guys all the time due to her looks. Like, I get it, that can be annoying, but did she have to drag Eita into it? And Eita, being the nice guy he is, got pulled into it without much say in the matter.

And don't even get me ...
