Lol'd @ that OP song. I found Chiwa quite annoying this episode. Well, I guess she's somewhat cute.

Anyways, episode is pretty generic but funny to watch especially in the latter half. Dem serious eyes.

Nopan. Great way to start.

Not bad. Even promising if you are a romcom fan. If this were my first romcom, I would have enjoyed it much more. But I already watched lots of similar anime.

That first episode was great. Really good animation and character design (as expected of A-1), its pretty funny and Natsukawa is a pretty great character. This and Haganai 2 look to be the must watch RomComs of the season.

A-1 Pictures did pretty well adapting this.
This is the kind of atmosphere I expected on the anime.
Although, it'll take time to get used to very soft outlines. Kinda hurts my eyes.

Masuzu is so good! Ahahaha.

What a downer. If the MC's two main love interests are already that obnoxious I can't imagine how painful it will be to sit through every episode once the other harem members get introduced.

Random opening. Story seems rather dull. Next episode will decide for me if I'm gonna watch the whole of it or not.

I still wish they kept the original cast from the drama CD. I wanted that Senjougahara feel with Saitou Chiwa doing Masuzu. Tamura Yukari just doesn't. Akasaki Chinatsu also doesn't do Chiwa that well.
The overall feel seems different from the manga(yes I know it's an LN adaptation).
Nevertheless, I like the art. Chiwa and Masuzu looks great. It's still the beginning I guess so I'll have to be patient with it. Though seeing the other two characters in the OP tells me we're going to the story at a quick pace to have all of them introduced. Doesn't bode well but let's see.

I have to agree with the overall lukewarm reception here. Its not bad persay, but doesn't stand out in any particular way. From artwork, to characters, to plot everything seems very "been there; done that."
I didn't think I was particularly jaded, but this show needs to step up its game.
I'll definitely watch the next episode since I like A-1 and the genre in general, but if my plate of anime becomes full I'll be dropping this mid-season.

I really hate Masuzu's character design. Her eyes are too small in certain angles and her hair is too... how do I put it, big?

This seems fairly interesting, I guess. Nothing too original but it didn't bore me to death either.

Ahahahaa. Now it's time for color wars, people. Okayish episode, though the childhood friend is pretty annoying. Also, Chinatsu Akasaki isn't just as good as Aki Toyosaki.

This is so going to be an awesome series! It has to be!! Like seriously what else can you ask from Chiwa being a twin-tailed, air-headed, tsundere, pettanko, loli, osananajimi? :3 all the moe traits @@

and Tamura Yukari is so suitable to be Masuzu! omg that sadistic talking style is so awesome. xD

Cant wait to see more characters though! will be supporting Chiwa for the moment! :D

Another basic and generic anime. Easy pass...

I personally haven't read the manga, light novel, or listened to the drama CD so I can't say much about how well it's been adapted to either of the predecessors, but I still think that so far, it's pretty average like a lot of others have stated. I did, however, enjoy the opening and ending theme songs; it's cutesy and definitely fits the type of other music Tamura Yukari's famous for (and in terms of the opening, all the girls sound as adorable as they should be). The animation is one that I enjoy, but aside from Masuzu, I felt the other characters were pretty normal in design. The story just seems rehashed from other things, and the voice acting isn't superb, but it's still interesting. I think I might enjoy this for a bit, but if this feel continues, it might be one that I drop or put on hold, but hopefully A-1 makes this adaptation something interesting for all watchers as the story progresses.

I did, however, enjoy the dialogue and albeit the cliche storyline, it was still enjoyable to watch for me. I just hope they step up the game soon!

Its was ok, could've been worse, but as said above, this seems its going to be another generic anime, but Ill give it two more episodes before I determine whether to drop it or not.

I like Chiwa and Masuzu, they're both pretty cool. I wonder if this'll be like Oniai where you can't really hate any of the girls.

one thing that makes me follow it is Tamura Yukari's intimidating voice. at least for now.

Muaic was nice, art was decent, the plot went exactly as you would expect. For me it's living up to expectations and I'm sure that I'll enjoy the series as time goes on.

The comedy is pretty decent but the plot seems boring so far and really predictable.

I'll probably enjoy this anime, the character designs are nice, and the plot...Well, pretty typical after watching so many anime lol

Enjoyed the manga and the first episode was adapted well, the animation was great as well, looking forward to seeing how the rest of this will go, this series is based on a light novel after all so it will likely pass where the manga currently is.

Except the way that Masuzu is acting, everything else is quite generic - Not that I had many expectations.

Did I missed something, or the main guy was not in the opening at all?

Quite nice first episode, we'll see where is goes in the next few.

This premiere is a very mixed bag, the overall plot I find decent because the execution is being done more subtly than other romantic comedies I've seen recently but on the other hand I didn't find the female heroines likable.

The childhood friend was kind of annoying trying to make herself look good in front of Eita; I like her voice actress though, she has a lot of inflections in her voice which bring her character alive. Nakumatsu I also don't like but I don't like her as an a character which is the source's fault but not the studios. She's manipulative and haughty. Eita on the other hand I quite enjoy, he isn't a shy type of main character and knows what he wants. Maybe I've seen a lot of other shows/movies recently where the male characters are badass and take charge in their situations but I was let down how Eita got manipulated so easily

That OP hurt my ears... I'm not a huge fan of the soft outlines, but the animation was decent. First half of the episode was pretty boring, 2nd half got more interesting and impressed me. Love the silver haired girl. Going to stick with it for now, it has some potential, I just hope it doens't turn into a standard harem/rom com.

Pretty great start for the series and animation of the manga. I feel like an idiot for only realizing why Masuzu hates love so much. I even read the manga too! The artwork isn't really all that great. It's a bit too abstract? I guess.... The brightness of the anime is kind of too overwhelming but overall, it's fairly good. I love the ending and opening songs though. The ending sort of reminded me of C3 but that's what you get for having the same seiyuu sing it. Looking forward to seeing how this anime pans out. Since it's only 13 episodes, it may be rushed but I'm still looking forward to it.

I love these kind of anime, though heavily cliche'd and obvious, they're always fun to watch. Recall skimming the manga a ways back but feels all new to me.

Was it just me that though of possible options for MC-kun when she black-mailed him?
