Both feature a schoolgirl protagonist who can see things others can’t, related to death. Interestingly, each protagonist takes the opposite approach to their power. Mieruko tries to pretend she can’t see ghosts in order to protect herself from them; whereas Satsuki does not hide her power and has a reputation as a liar as a result. I will note that whilst both have comedic and serious moments, Usotsuki has a more somber and darker tone overall. Both also have GL undertones which is always a plus!

I feel both of these manga take a similar melancholic but beautiful approach to living and love. Both are also period pieces, and appear to have a lot of care taken in crafting their worlds and especially the clothing pieces.

‘Non battle battle series’. Much more mind games involved instead of traditional shorn jump fighting action. Very interesting plots with twists, mysteries etc. gripping stories and good characters.

Normal shonen jump of progressively harder opponents, many power ups and forms, and a simple plot. Both have good art and similar protagonist. Both want to become the strongest, get many powerups, fight stronger opponents, the normal shonen stuff. Both main characters have a demon inside them, and use their super strong powers. Both have emotional moments, epic fight scenes, and good panelling.

Both Orange and A Silent Voice are dramas, though Orange has romance playing a more prominent role than A Silent Voice did. ' These series both had a stong emphasis on mental health and the importance of friendship. Both series had at least one main character who was isolated, but ended up making friends. Characters in both grapple with their own self-loathing and better themselves. The theme of finding something to live for is also present in both Orange and A Silent Voice.

Both have half human, half dragon hybrid girls. Ruri Dragon is more of a slice of life and Dragon Half is more of an adventure but both have cute comedic bits.

Both are Kingdom Building Isekai, with a focus on revitalizing a destitute nation that deal with similar conflicts and harems with the same end point. The difference of each Light Novel ranges from how they deal with the "transported to another world" mechanic, military tactics tactics used, the sheer amount of allowable brutality, the level of politics & economics and how the technological revolutions are pretty varied.

Both works feature supernatural beings as enemies and have several references to action and horror movies. Furthermore, they are made by the same author and set in the same universe.

These two mangas are essentially the exact same manga - no other way to describe it. Both are isekai where the MC has total knowledge of the world and immediately outclasses the strongest adventurer in the world with their knowledge. Workplace romances that are wholesome and cute.

Not similar regarding dungeons/fantasy, but if you want a good laugh and some wholesome content then Horimiya is for you. Both share the same kind of humour and will leave you with a smile on your face.

Written by the same author, they are very ‘real’ series with deeper themes and interesting plots with plot twists. Both are quite meta as well.

Both have brand world building with many kingdoms and politics, also both are battle shonen with the normal multitude of powers and a clear battle system.

They're both slice of life, iyashikei manga that takes place in a post-apocalyptic word. They both have an episodic story structure and similar calming atmosphere. While Girl' Last Tour focuses more on the apocalyptic word, Yokohama focuses more on the characters.

Both have lots of popular culture references. (every Ender Geister chapter lists the references it has) Both have supernatural and sci fi elements and lots of action. Both have considerable amounts of fanservice. Both are very over the top and hilarious at times.

These are good stories that deal with deep themes, especially about beauty and the desire for fame. They also resemble each other in the sense of discomfort they provoke within the reader by showing what the pursuit of these goals can cause.

Both being adapations of FromSoft games, these manga depict a world of similar aesthetic, though one of those manga is more faithful to the dramatic original while the other one is of comedic approach.

Both work well as a combination of horror and romance as their main genres, while having an overarching mystery relating to the ghost entities and how their supernatural situations have come to be. I think a main difference lies within the protagonists, Yoshiki seemed more practical and apprehensive while Yuri is more naive and unhealthily obsessive.

Age gap. Similar actions, feelings of characters and vibe overall. Both are relaxing even though Taiyou no Ie is a bit more complex and entertaining.

He's short and insecure. Also, childhood friends. The latter is much better and more satisfying unless you should hate 4-koma for some reason or other.

The Stray Beasts and Nice Day For a Little Mermaid are both manga aimed at girls/women featuring a mermaid as the female protagonist. Though not in the usual way as you might expect from Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid, as these manga aren't really about mermaids wanting to turn into a human based on curiosity and eventual attraction (though the former does feature a romance and the MC is often seen with legs). Check either of these out for some cute-looking takes on mermaid stories.

The Stray Beasts and Mermaid Melody are both shoujo manga featuring a somewhat pink-colored mermaid as the female protagonist. She falls in love with a boy from a species not her own, and she unfortunately has to try her best to not reveal she's a mermaid or else she may die; the former features demons who literally eat mermaids like the main character, and the latter features the classic Little Mermaid penalty of turning into sea foam bubbles. So expect a somewhat star-crossed romance with some cute art.

The Stray Beasts and Saint Tail are both shoujo manga featuring a blossoming romance between a girl and a boy that would otherwise be considered enemies—the former has demons that would usually eat mermaids, and the latter is primarily a cat-and-mouse game between a wannabe detective/cop and a phantom thief. The art style is relatively similar, with a cute and simple late 90s shoujo charm; the extra one-shot in the former that inspired the main story even features magicians like Saint Tail!

I'd call it Japanese Requiem for a Dream. Lost, deluded characters are gradually ruining their lives. How far will they go? Will there ever be a way to turn back and get a redemption, or is it already too late?

Villainesses reincarnate into their past selves just before or after they are indicted for various crimes or evils in their worlds. They begin to lead a more generous and wiser way of living - and are then revered for such in their societies - in contrary to the wickedness and corruption they were known for previously. Runa and Mia's stories of growth coincide with an ever-evolving world surrounding them - politically, economically, and socially - tasking them to prominent roles in society in order to steer away from their, and the world's, future demise: Runa becoming an owner of a conglomerate in Modern Villainess, and Mia taking her position seriously as first-in-line to the throne in Tearmoon Empire. Runa and Mia tend to share similar personalities too, due to both sharing similar backgrounds and older mental ages than their physical selves. They show great wisdom and maturity amongst their peers, but also enjoy childish activities suitable to their reincarnations. While they are often seen as kind, Runa and Mia may still enjoy picking on others who annoy them and tarnish their names and those of their friends. Note that Modern Villainess explores more in depth the economic situation of Japan, Asia, and the rest of the world in the 1990s and early 2000s while interpreting important financial crises and events in a fictional lens, whereas Tearmoon Empire creates an entirely new world to dive into various topics, like monarchies, foreign relations, and similarly finances.

Well you have the MC who is loved by multiple girls and for some reason they all end up leaving together and have those rom-com moments events. The difference is how they get to the point on leaving together.

Both are pretty much similar, In these both series their main characters are in their first year of high school. And the other main character is their senpai and in both of these their senpais falls for them. And i thing story is pretty much the same just confessions happens the there is misunderstandings and in series the showed the senpais cool but in there they are fragile and very sensitive. And both of these senpais have a best friend that...... Thats it if i write more im afraid ill give spoilers. So if you liked Yagate Kimi ni Naru then pretty much you'll also like Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau.

Both stories revolve around delinquent high schoolers, one who's an Alpha and one who's an Omega, who end up falling in love. They both contain common Omegaverse tropes, but I don't think the stories are bogged down by them. The relationships are really cute and wholesome. These stories are also not as sex-focused as many other BL stories.

One is set in the student council a prestigious high school and the other is set in a.. shady college 'diving' club, but both series feature great comedy and are actually building towards romance in a way that is.. believable? I guess? Both series like poking at tropes in an obvious way, too. Grand Blue has way more indecent exposure than Kaguya, though.

There are countless similarities between Jujutsu Kaisen Chainsaw Man, we can mention the similarity between the characters, Itadori is like Denji, the kind and funny protagonist who doesn't want to hurt even the demons, Nobara is like Power, the protagonist's friend excited and outgoing, who often steals the show, Megumi is like Aki, the quiet boy with black hair who is a friend of the protagonists who had his family killed and wants revenge, Gojo is like Makima, both are very strong with incredible powers that can finish off any enemy, Miwa is like Kobeni, the two poor comic relief from the countryside. Another point to highlight is the relationship between Mitaka and the War Devil in Chainsaw Man part 2 which is very similar to the relationship between Itadori and Sukuna. In addition, the pace of the narrative is similar, both work with demons and curses and are shounen manga.

Two guys who can be considered very dangerous individuals, have short breaks from their professions due to their weaknesses for animals. *The comedy in both is genuine and pure. *These two manga are incredibly easy to read.

Both are about vampires who expose their secrets to humans that have the same vibe. They start out as romcoms and become more dramatic as secrets of the vampire world/society and the main heroine are revealed.

It kinda gives the same vibes with the whole vampire/police officer setting.

The main heroine regresses to a younger state than she was before (in the same place) and finds out about various unpleasant things she hadn't known before.

*OTHER WAY AROUND*. MaL detects Kingdom as recommended work no matter what cuz their website coding is utterly shit Historie is nearly as extraordinary as Kingdom - takes place in Greek history, similar to the Warring States period in Kingdom. Highly recommended if you're interested in adventures, state/empire unification, strategies, amazing MCs & scythian war.

There's actually a lot of Kasane inspired scene or idea in Your Throne. It was fun to spot them.

“Adonis” and “Return of the Female Knight” are great reads that feature female knights. “Adonis” has a lot more magic than “Return of the Female Knight”. In both cases, I recommend the novel over the manhwa as both are phenomenal stories. “Adonis” is a true epic in length.

If you enjoy “From A Knight to a Lady”, you might enjoy “The Return of the Female Knight” (novel >>> manhwa). There’s a lot more action in the latter than the former but both stories center around women who are/were knights.

Both of these stories feature misunderstood female leads in fantasy settings. Both female protagonists suffer from self confidence issues and specifically “How To Win My Husband Over” delves into mental health issues as well. For that reason, I would say “Saving My Sweetheart” is a “lighter” read than HTWMHO but both have similar vibes.

“Secret Lady” and “The Villainess Is A Marionette” are both absolutely stunning manhwa. If you like the art style of one, you will definitely appreciate the other. The stories are also great political romances!

If you like “The Fantasie of a Stepmother”, definitely check out “Secret Lady”. Both are fantasy romances that have an edge of mystery to them and are very beautiful, atmospheric reads. I highly recommend both!

If you want something edgy instead of sweet, grab one of these manhwas! Both of these stories are fantasy romance manhwa with darker themes. I would say “Roxana” is perhaps one of the darkest villainess stories (at least the novel is) and “Revolutionary Princess Eve” is probably one of the darker themed fantasy time travel manhwas that isn’t a villainess story. Both are very good and use a lot of magic.

Both stories are romances that center around female protagonists who turn back time using magic. “The Villainess Turns the Hourglass” is more political and “Saving My Sweetheart” is more fantasy adventure. But both give me similar vibes without being similar stories. I highly recommend both!

“Ending Maker” is kind of like a romcom version of “Omniscient Reader”. The tones are wildly different but the whole fantasy adventure with the MC knowing the future is similar. Both also incorporate video game-like mechanics (skills, leveling up, etc). They’re both great reads and highly recommended!

‘Passion’ is a term that could define these two mangas. On one side you have an aloof and playful guy that harbors some rather intense feelings and on the other someone more centered, with their calm demeanor being affected by their partner. Considered rivals in the entertainment industry, might bicker from time to time while still absolutely adoring each other. You can feel the love these characters have for their respective careers and loved one. Most notable difference would be that 10 Dance is a slow burn and Haru wo Daiteita makes them learn more about each other while already being a couple.
