Yeah! I do watch Tadaima Okaeri anime (i'm not gonna lie tho i actually watch it for hikari and hinata cuteness ( ꈍᴗꈍ)) were you watching it too? College is destroying my watching schedule so i jump a lot of the episodes or just simply watch a couple of scenes people posted on Twitter.

Btw, do you watch haikyuu? Haikyuu's movie about to come to cinema on 29 May here, i'm planning on watching it. I never thought they would release any movie, i thought it was all going to be a series ヽ(。◕o◕。)ノ. i'm so excited!!

Have a nice day 🎊

Because Solo Leveling was so mainstream, there were a lot of people watching who don't normally watch a lot of anime I think. So for me, I actually learned about the recap episode a week before hand because I look at a lot of anime websites or announcements that give updates for those types of things. And even if I didn't know, although it's rare, I try to keep in mind that getting a recap in the middle of 12 eps can happen. Or an episode can be pushed back a week at any time for various reasons. So because I knew early, I wasn't as upset when that episode came out. But for people who are unfamiliar with this most likely didn't expect it and it felt as though this recap came out of nowhere. I can imagine waking up excited to watch another episode of your favorite anime only to be blue balled with a recap hahaha. So that's probably where all that outrage came from but yes everyone definitely overreacted.

Being a few episodes now into the remake, I will say I am enjoying it so far. Although I still struggle keeping up with the exposition a little bit, I'm doing better at paying attention lol. One of the main things that carries the show for me, which also applied to the original, is the relationship between the two main characters. They have very good chemistry and they play a huge part in what makes the show enjoyable for me. I also really like the new design and animation style. It's a lot more colorful I'd say (the original kind of had a subdued color tint going on) and generally more pretty to look at. But as I continue to watch, I'm really going to try putting in an effort to pay attention to what's going on haha. Yes, this adaptation is a remake. I had watched the original first because I had already wanted to for a long time now. So far they are pretty similar, nothing has had a huge change except there's one small character that swapped genders which was interesting haha. I think that character was originally male in the first place and with this remake, they're sticking to the original source material. But so far I think it's a good remake.

I haven't actually seen a whole lot of remakes where I watched both the original and the remake. In HxH's case I only watched the remake. But from the few I know of, like the Fruits Basket remake, I think they were pretty good and better than the original. I'm sure there are some that are not very good but from what I've seen, I've generally enjoyed remakes. I have seen people complain though about how remakes can "ruin" the original which I think is so stupid. I view them as separate things for the most part and if there was a case where I prefer the original over a remake, it would never ruin the original for me. That's the same kind of stupidity as when people say the ending of a show ruins the entirety of the anime like they did for AOT haha.
It's kind of complicated the more I think about it because I do really like realism and seeing characters acting their age at times. So I also do understand people hating things like that. But what makes or breaks it for me is ultimately the writing. If the writing is bad then it doesn't matter if the characters are realistic or not lol. That's probably the case with Tokyo Revengers because while I do like it, I'll admit the writing isn't the best at times lol.
As we get closer to Tower of God season 2, I can't deny I'm a bit concerned about it. It's probably mainly just because I don't really know what to expect or where it's going with the story but no one I've seen is really talking about it and the hype kinda died off for me personally. Idk I guess I just have a bad feeling but maybe I'm wrong. I'll still be checking it out.
I agree, having 8 episodes is a little strange but makes perfect since for the training arc. Still very excited. I really hope the Infinity Castle isn't movies either. That would be pretty disappointing. Not only just because I would prefer to get it a little at a time in episode format but also because depending on how they release it, it could take twice as long for me to actually see the movie. When they do theatrical released movies, I have to wait 6-7 months before I can actually get a hold of it and watch it. I agree, I would rather have multiple season parts than movies lol.

When you said having shows scored as a 10 can kind of come and go, that hit pretty close to home. Not recently, but a while ago I had actually gone through my list to see if I still agree with all my scoring and for the most part, I still agree with my scores. Maybe a hand full here and there that I disagree with now but overall I still feel the same way. The ones I score a 10 for I know aren't actually flawless masterpieces though. They just have a very special place in my heart that I try to give to as few shows as possible if I can help it.
Yeah those ratings are just so dumb. It's all so biased. I am surprised that Frieren is still number one though. And by a pretty huge margin of nearly .30 looks like it's going to stay there for a while lol.

Yeah I guess Gon and Killua never actually met Meruem haha. I wonder what would've happened if they did meet. But yeah they definitely wouldn't have been able to defeat him if the most powerful hunter died trying. And the only way he was able to kill him was from the poisoning which is honestly a little underhanded if you really think about it lol. But he did what had to be done and it cost him his life.
Yes I guess I understand what people are saying with Gon but it's a little bit of an overreaction. If I'm remembering correctly, he didn't even do anything too crazy in my opinion. His anger towards Pitou was completely justified. The worst part was him lashing out at Killua I guess but he was just angry and Killua understood that. Yes it hurt his feelings, but Killua understood why he said those things and they were able to make up later.
Hahah yeah the snot was pretty gross.

Oh wow I'm surprised to hear Anno Un is one of the most popular characters but it makes since. I wasn't really sure how I would feel about him until after his backstory where I grew to like him a lot. Seriously, everyone's powers has completely ruined their lives. I agree, unfortunately my hopes are low for another season. I'll probably wait a bit longer but hopefully I will get into the manga.
Lol yeah the bar is low when it comes to Rent a Girlfriend. It was funny because the first season was so bad its good, second season was just bad, and the third season was actually a decently written arc just in a bad show. If we do get more seasons I will probably still be asking why but still watch haha. There's actually another manga from the same author that's going to get a adaptation called The Shiunji Family Children which is even more trashy just by reading the synopsis. I will probably not check that one out but who knows. If it gets attention maybe I'll see how bad it really is haha.

Yay I'm glad you agree lol. Yes the fights were really cool and I think there are some interesting characters but nothing really impressed me story wise. Yes by the looks of the second season, this will be the turning point where we really get going so I'm looking forward to it. Although, by what you're saying with characters coming and going often, that has me a bit concerned. If I meet a character I really like that only sticks around for two episodes or so that'll be kinda disappointing in my opinion. But I guess there are plenty of shows that have a lot of characters that we don't see a whole lot and I don't usually have a problem so it'll probably be okay.

Haha my family bought a Disney+ account a while back originally so we could watch the Hamilton musical movie. I don't use it often but I would like to watch more from it. I never watched the original X-Men show but I've heard a lot of good things about X-Men '97. I watched a couple clips to see if I would be interested and I see what you mean by it being a little corny. All the love for it probably mostly comes from the nostalgia but I think I'll still try and check it out. Hopefully with summer finally arriving, I'll watch it some time soon.

I completely understand what you mean about having expectations for Monster. I knew nothing about it except that it was good so I didn't exactly know what to expect. I did presume it would have a bit more back to back thriller but I liked what it did.
That light novel sounds interesting. I feel like there are a lot of characters where we don't really know what happened to them afterwards.

I'm glad you're checking those out too! Yes, so far, all of these have been a lot of fun. I find it funny that A Condition Called Love could've taken a dark turn if he was a bit more yandere. Imagine if it just suddenly turned into a psychological thriller haha.
Go! Go! Loser Ranger! is so unique. I've been liking it a lot and I'm excited to see where it goes. I've heard it just keeps getting better and better.
BitChilly May 6, 2:58 PM
I am so so so so sorry for my several week delay, I was going to reply soon after I first saw it but April became borderline psychological torture on my end and forgot to do it until now T_T, Cozumel was fine though it didn't really interest me.

I haven't been using my Netflix lately though as of just recently, they've added quite a bit of anime which while are fairly popular, I see as ironic since I've complained about the poor catalogue of anime on Netflix and now they're adding more options. I don't know, apparently it was super difficult or something. I never took French so I have no clue but yeah lol

I hate it too when an anime introduces something but never commits or follows up to it, it just destroys a component of the entire anime, especially if it's important. It's like a car engine, it can not work without the required components and fuel. Sasaki to Pii-chan was just so awful and appalling in every way that it still lingers in my head from time to time, it's insulting. Yup, just that good of a song and a powerful one at that too. A heavy sense of nostalgia paired to a scene full of despair and hopelessness. I honestly chuckled when I saw that trailer, a MAPPA project about an anime director. Good ol' irony, am I right? I wonder how it'll turn out but it's just kinda funny to me that MAPPA would do something like that. That's the thing, I despise when entertainment media attempt to be this kind of careless joy and fun yet pair it with a more meaningful and relatable sentiment, you either pick one or the other. Barbie just happened to be the worst combination of the two.

It's pretty neat, though the difficult part is remembering all of the letters involved haha. In my opinion, Hiragana is by far the easier and most important writing system to learn for the basics of Japanese as it sets up the foundation to learn the two others. Can't wait to hear your progress on Japanese :)
Honestly, who knows where it'll go from that point on unless we both read the manga bwahaha. I can't say I'm optimistic but I'll be around to watch it, since they have so much room to further expand the narrative and the character depth along with the lineage. Yikes, that is awful. How no one rioted against that teacher is worrying, the class would probably riot where my school is at. Trolls are the worst, they are utterly insufferable and lack the brain capacity of a normal human. Bwahahahhahaha, that's really funny and yeah, it probably is just that since their comedy often just sucks.

Can it even be called chemistry? I don't think so, I'm calling it "forced interactions". It barely is considered chemistry, it's almost nonexistent.

Haha, it's alright. I haven't been able to watch it yet since as mentioned before, April was just pure pain. I'll definitely make room for it this month, hopefully within the week since my Junior year is ending soon. I'm indifferent towards reality TV, however I am fond of sitcoms like The Office and Seinfield. I do feel that nowadays, entertainment media in the US is just getting really really bad but there are exceptions of course. Yeah they removed it, really bad move on their end personally. Interesting interesting, but the racial slur part is something I didn't expect lol

Yep, they all are very much capable of love but their circumstances prevent their ability to express that love. It's sort of painful, a family that isn't broken on the outside but cracked on the inside.

It's also nice to be grateful for the services that happen to us every day such as public transportation or even the lovely lunch ladies from our childhood. I feel that a lot of the younger generation lack this kind of gratitude because of the effects of Internet toxicity and it's a shame to see how things have become. I really hope to see an S2 for Frieren, it helped opened my eyes and bring so much to me in terms of the weight of time and a reminder to not take things for granted, as humans naturally do often. It's a beautiful and touching narrative, about life and it being paired with a brilliant world and sense of magic and creativity.

I hope you're doing much better after your cat, and thank you I hope you are too :D

My root canal is technically over, but I need to put a crown over my tooth, and that shit's expensive! So, I have been procrastinating it for months. lol
How's your tooth? Did the problem get fixed?

Ikr! Why do they care so much? I have seen some people say they'd never fuck a guy, and some others say they never want to be fucked by a guy; it's like they already know if they're a top or bottom! lol

That author name confused me just now, because I thought he was the same guy who wrote "Kafka by the Shore." But, that guy is Murakami Haruki.
Is the book good? I have not read a lot of Japanese literature, but I have heard they're amazing.

Whenever I watch something from America, I have to prepare myself for an absence of creativity and soul. lol
X-men was Disney? I had no idea! I have only seen a few episodes of the animated show when I was so young that I don't actually remember anything other than the fact that I used to find Cyclops hot.

I didn't really think "Young Royals" would be very good, and when I'd watched it for the first time, i was a bit disappointed by season 1's ending. But, then I realised that I was not able to like any romance in any show, because I kept comparing them to "Young Royals". They did something right, but I couldn't think what it was. So, I rewatched it, and fell in love! lol It has one of the best directing I have ever seen. (I recently also redesigned my MAL's About Me, and made a reference to Young Royals. lol)
Hiring an actual teenager for an adult type situation? That's . . . that sounds wrong. And unethical.
I don't remember what my brother said about Poke meat, but I remember he had an expression of horror on his face that was absolutely hilarious!

Yeah, Kaneki has a very simple design. I think it actually works on him, because he is a simple guy who was not supposed to stand out at all, but then he went through some unlucky growth. though, with a lot of other characters that look like him, the design just feels lazy. It doesn't tell us much about the character and how they live.

I think Avatar and Percy Jackson, both, have a similar arc. They both got despicably bad movie adaptations that fans want to erase from their memories. Then, they got a 2024 TV series remake.
I have not seen either of their movies, because I had no intention of wasting my time. haha Though, I have heard that Percy Jackson's first film was enjoyable enough despite being bad, but its second film was not only bad but also killed the antagonist that was supposed to die in part 5!

It must be a shock when someone you haven't seen in years dies before you get to visit them when they were still alive.
It's good you're feeling better. Were you your cat's only caretaker?

A bonus chapter released recently. Although, not much happened. I wished Sora and Hinata kissed or something! At least it was clear that they loved each other, and they even grow up to live together. I did find it interesting how Sora is compared to Caravaggio, the only artist known to have murdered someone, since that man was also gay.

Oh no! Was it a real phone, or a toy?

It's a writing competition. I have always wanted to be a writer, but I suck at writing, because I get easily distracted! But, there are some stories I can't tell by just drawing, so I want to do them by writing.
I also get dreams of going back to high school. (Well, we call them secondary school where I am at, unless they changed the name again, which they keep doing.) There are times when i dream that I don't have the notebooks for particular classes, and I'd panic. lol I wonder if constantly dreaming of high school counts as trauma.

I hope my boss gets paid. She said she won't be, since the CEO and my ex-classmate don't like her, but that's stupid. She's worked, and she needs to be paid.
I don't know what I could have done to be misunderstood. I feel like me being gay was pretty obvious, since half of what I post online is drawings of cute guys kissing and flirting. I am hoping she was actually talking about another guy breaking her heart, and my friend misunderstood her. Schools teach you maths, but not ways of dealing with weird rich people!

I use dates when searching for Tv shows and movies all the time! lol

I was never a huge fan of Yuri on Ice, so I didn't really care about the news. But, it was one of MAPPA's best original works, so it seems like a loss for MAPPA than the fans of the show. Fans will get something to replace the spot Yuri on Ice held in their hearts, but the studio most likely won't be the ones creating that new thing.
Doriss Apr 28, 5:11 AM
Thank you very much! <3
Ink-ling Apr 27, 9:24 PM
Well, it looks like we finally got confirmation for the rest of season 2 because a trailer dropped ('bout fuckin' time, Viv). We are getting a third season. It was confirmed a while ago.
You sure? I'm pretty sure you couldn't have missed this while watching Hazbin.

Well, Vegeta from Dragon Ball pre-dated Hiei. But unlike Hiei, Vegeta isn't edgy. He's cocky and arrogant. Traits Hiei also has, but it fits Vegeta more given that he's a literal prince, and is proud of his heritage. Oh yeah. Weekly magazines are pretty brutal on mangaka. There's authors out there who truly live for their work, and others who live for it if they have more control and time. Can't find it at the moment, but somewhere out there, it's stated that authors working on weekly magazines only get about 4 hours of free time to themselves. Hell, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, is said to literally sleep in his office when he runs out of time working on his chapters.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from. Phantom Blood can be a little hard to sit through. It's honestly the more boring entry of JoJo, yet it is important given that it's the catalyst for future installments. Things do get better for Jonathan (somewhat), but you'd have to continue to see more of what happens next. If you're not too interested in the starting points, just watch Stardust Crusaders. I saw it before watching Phantom Blood when I used to be heavily into JoJo.

If you're going to start Raildex, start with the anime. You can go broadcast order, or a different one, but personally, I'd start with Railgun. It helps explain the world better, and introduces you to one of the best characters in the series. Now Index's first season isn't quite as polished as later seasons, but it's still worth the watch. Know ahead of time that Index III is very rushed, due to complications that occurred during production. Then after that, read the light novels for Index, and the other manga spin-offs.
Thanks! They're easily my favorite characters of all time, and pretty much speak for me when anyone asks about my favorite anime. As I said previously, Berserk and Raildex are the only anime series I care about these days.
You're welcome. I am by no means needy for replies, so any who talk to me are entitled to take as much time as possible to message me back.

You as well.

Here's a question for you - what got you into anime?

hey,

how have you been?
asking if you are feeling better makes it sound heartless. but I hope the good memories are staying with you and you are clinging to those more than the loss that you had to go through. it´s ok to grief but you cannot let it consume you. she was your companion and those fluffy little babies that knows us often more than people around us become so precious I sometimes wish they did not. how hard is parting with someone you love, how easier would it be if only we didn´t have to have .. emotions. damn

but I also hope that where March was lacking, April gave you some opportunities to be happy and it cheered you up.

what have you been up to lately?

I still hope you get some rain as crops would not grow otherwise, but only moderate one so that there are no floods. what is "cold" for you? do you get snow in your area? what does winter look like? I have never lived through winter without snow, maybe once many years ago, but it was very cold nevertheless. people often complain there was no snow after the winter is over but as someone who walks to work every day a decent amount of distance, I assure you THERE WAS SNOW and I could feel it. snow makes your walking harder, your feet so much heavier. my body remembers :D.

I am glad that you enjoyed the adaptation! Agatha Christie is amazing and I want to go through a rerun of Hercule Poirot since some of the episodes are available on YT and I just love it. I was growing up watching it too. how is the book reading going?
funny that you ask, i don´t think I remember what kind of shows I like, it must be such a long time since I watched anything with real people. I like shows about doctors, lawyers, I guess slice of life? what about you?

I agree with everything you have said about God. I disagree how people use God against others and that is why I feel like I could not attend a mass unless I would really trust the priest is not gonna preach about how we should keep our youth off the liberal thoughts of homosexuality, let´s say. but I do think that believing in God leads us to better things like gently guiding us to the right direction.

wait, why did I think that residential areas are posh and cool? and how come they aren´t ? your neighborhood sounds pretty dramatic. tbh. no love confessions here, but a lot of drilling :D

definitely, my dream job is to work at an archive. to meet as few people as possible, but not just yet. maybe in ten years. right now I can do it, but will I be able to later on? who knows, my social battery is pretty low :D.
as for school reunions, I don´t go to any and I don´t want to anymore. I have made my peace with myself or maybe I should be more honest and say I am working on it daily.

yeah, we all have that experience. sometimes you try talking to someone and you are either met with politeness which is nice and all but you can just feel they are faking it, or you can shoed away immediately :D. or they turn out to be really creepy :D. I am lucky enough to be boring. usually I meet people who either ghost me or are willing to continue talking. I am counting my blessings.

I teach years 3 till 7 this year (here we have primary and secondary classes as a part of the 9 year cycle of mandatory education). well, I think teachers should definitely held themselves to a higher standard than they do. we keep complaining about kids but are we really doing enough? eeehhh

I think I am probably never going to watch A Silent Voice, it sounds so creepy. creepier than Another which is a horror show :D. Mashle is definitely another rec! it is so light-hearted and fun! have you watched the first season?

maybe I should give The Shadowhunter Chronicles a try! sounds like a fun and adventurous ride! something ideal for a summer.

happy to hear that,
all the best
lots of health and rest
good stuff to you and your family!

Window shopping is always fun, it is nice to look even if you don't plan to buy anything at the current time.

I'll have to throw X-Men into my watchlist at some point here, I haven't seen the originals either so I have no idea on most the characters outside some of the really big names. The revival show was definitely a better ending, but was still polarizing from what I heard. A lot like the ending of Attack on Titan, either you love it or don't it seemed. I haven't seen the actual show yet, I'm working through the show with my brother at the moment.

The show really tugged at my heart strings. I'm planning to rewatch with two friends, so I'm excited to delve back into it and commit to the show emotionally again. It is great that MAL cracked down on the review bombing, FMAB definitely has had it's controversies around it in the past. I thankfully have gotten plenty of time now, I finished my homework for the semester, and will only have my finals now in two to three weeks, so it's just studying and free time until summer! Super excited for the extra time, already been having fun editing images for my steam profile, spent nearly 5 hours yesterday making my profile look nice.

I hope you also have a wonderful week, thank you for the well wishes.

Honestly, most depictions of gluttony that come to mind aren't necessarily fat. Queen Bee is a great embodiment of gluttony, and yet, is gluttony limited to just food? Or is it more about excessive consumption? Queen Bee is a character who always throws parties with an abundance of food and drinks, everything being excessively lavish, and her power to alter the size of things contributes to that. Her not being fat seems like a rather hollow criticism.
They don't "almost forget" the main cast; they simply disappear. The only one who appears in this episode is Blitz, and even then, with roughly 5 minutes of screen time in a half-hour episode.
The point is that sinners can't leave the pride ring, and extermination only happens there. It's like a deal Lucifer made with Heaven, but that's still unclear, whereas the characters in Helluva were born in Hell, so they can freely move between the rings. Yes, Lucifer rules the pride ring; each sin governs its respective ring. Hazbin characters are charismatic and perhaps even more visually appealing, but Helluva characters are more lively.
The people in Hell having complete free will and no desire to be redeemed also explains why Charlie struggles so much to convince the demons to go to her hotel.
Heaven is still a very vague setting in the HellaVerse, so I don't feel confident theorizing much, but I believe the final villain will probably be Alastor.
Hazbin Hotel isn't going away anytime soon; there will be 4 seasons of Helluva, 4 seasons of Hazbin, and apparently, we'll have a V's spin-off soon, so it's a brand that will last for a while.
"Addict" can't be considered entirely canonical; some ideas changed before the first season was released, but from what I remember, Cherri's past is linked to her ex-boyfriend. We don't even know if Cherri actually joined the hotel; all we saw was her helping her friend rebuild his house. She will indeed have more screen time in the second season; all we can do is wait to see where the character will be taken.
Niffty is practically confirmed as an Overlord, and that's the only theory I firmly stand by.
Just look at the protagonists, with HB being a male protagonist and HH being a female protagonist. From what I read on the leaked script page from the second season, Lucifer will have a prominent role, at least in the beginning of the second season.

The dubbing is excellent work, and only people who want to appear superior neglect dubbings, which, in my view, is somewhat demeaning to the entire team that spent months dubbing a show.

It's the first time I've heard about recycling desert clothes; it's different, but as you said, at least it's a start.

The problem with Pokémon designs, since the third generation, is that even if a Pokémon has a cool design, it doesn't necessarily mean it's strong. There are several Pokémon with imposing designs that are terrible in battle; I've gotten into several scrapes because of that. Seviper, Golem, and Mightyena are two Pokémon that disappointed me a lot.
Steelix seems like a good Pokémon; I personally don't like training Onix much because it seems to take longer to gain experience than other Pokémon, but maybe when I get a chance, I'll train a Steelix.
As for the movies, I believe we'll have to wait a little longer; from what I've seen on YouTube, the views for Pokémon Horizons aren't bad (it's not the same as the classics, but it's getting there), which makes me believe we won't have a movie for now because the protagonists aren't strong enough yet to handle a threat that needs to be told in a movie. We'll have to wait for the protagonists to get stronger.
I'm completely out of the loop on the Pokémon games; I only find out about a new game when it's released and streamers start playing it, so although I've heard of this title, I still don't know anything about Legends Z-A.

Of course, feel free to talk about Tokyo Revengers; I'm just not sure if I can contribute much to the conversation.

At some point in my life, I'll watch the new X-Men cartoon, probably when things calm down in my life. I think the Illya spin-off is the least mentioned; even when Fate talks about different timelines and the "multiverse," Illya was never mentioned from what I remember.
Fate's soundtracks are excellent; I think the one I revisited the most besides "Brave Shine" was "Memoria," the first ending of Fate/Zero, where they recreate real artworks of the characters. There are several videos on YouTube comparing the anime ending with the real arts; it's simply excellent.
Strange Fake was written by the same author as Durarara, so the writing style is quite similar. If you liked Durarara, you'll probably like Strange Fake.

Honestly, I find it somewhat difficult for the Brazil arc to appear in the movie, but I recognize that there is a possibility, around 20 to 25%.

The opening of Kaijuu n8 is excellent; it will probably be remembered as one of the best of the year, and the second episode also delivered everything the show aims to bring us.

The score shouldn't be a hindrance to watching something, but I recognize that it's a very good compass to guide me among the shows.

man I love Adam hahaha. I feel like if i had power it would probably be something along the lines of Adam or Homelander hahaha, I completely understand his vision, although he is an asshole, this is the vision that many people have, ''had their chance to behave better, now they boil in the pot'', I see in him a religious person like many others, who judge and condemn despite being impure, in his position, I probably wouldn't do anything differently, Hell is forever is my favorite song by Hazbin and although I like the whole song ''you didn't know'' I revisit the part where Lute and Adam sings ''What are we even talking about, some crack-whore who fucked up already? He blew his shot like the cocks in his mouth. This discussion is senseless and petty. There's no question to be posed. He's unholy, case closed. Did you forget that hell is forever?'' Goosebumps man!

Though if they do make the final arc a movie, they're probably going to end up turning it into a series as well, like they did with Mugen Train. My only problem is I hate having to wait for it to come out. I don't like watching it at a movie theater.

Yuru Camp is a slice of life anime about high school girls just camping with some comedy sprinkled in. Yuru Camp is one of my personal favorites SOL anime. Yuru Camp makes me wish I liked camping. There's something very special about its simplicity and how effectively it illustrates the relationships between its characters and the outdoors. The art and music are some of the best I've seen in anime. The character designs are great, and the backgrounds are jaw dropping.

I have not engaged in extensive sightseeing activities in the past.
It is hard for me to visit the Taj Mahal since I live in the southern part of India and the monument is located in the north. Traveling such a long distance can be quite challenging.
I strongly desire to travel, but it makes me extremely anxious.
Excluding the Taj Mahal, I tend to travel around the southern region. The Nilgiri Hills, located in the southern part of India, are an iconic destination known for their vast tea gardens that stretch over the rolling landscape. The region's ideal climate, with its cool and misty atmosphere, along with the nutrient-rich soil, makes it an excellent location for cultivating some of the world's most exquisite and aromatic teas. For aficionados of tea, Nilgiri tea is likely a familiar name, celebrated for its distinctive taste that is simultaneously subtle and vigorous, with nuances of fruity and floral undertones.
I got to see Ed Sheeran's concert in Mumbai and even though I'm not really into visiting religious monuments, my parents convinced me to check out a few during my trip.
Besides binge-watching anime and reading manga, I spend most of my time indoors playing games and munching on snacks. I've been experiencing days like this in recent times.
College feels like hell to me, so I'd rather rest than go outside.
I have caught up with the manga of ROR.

If you're interested then definitely check them out, they're pretty basic but still worth a watch I'd say. I did find it funny that in the second movie the main villain is voiced by Kaido's VA, and one of his underlings is voiced by Doflamingo's VA. I've seen clips from Baron Omatsuri and it seems to have very different vibes from the other movies, I'll check it out someday for sure. I also have a similar complaint about the movies trying to fit in as many characters as possible, I haven't seen Film Red but that looks like it suffers from that problem. Hopefully in the next movie they narrow the focus back to just the Straw Hats and telling a good story.
That's for sure, I feel like Gintama has the reputation of being something where you "need" to watch tons of anime to understand it which puts a lot of people off, but I don't think that's really the case. And it's nice learning about more cultural references that I wasn't familiar with beforehand through the show, it made for a good learning experience sometimes. Not to mention Gintama has got to have one of the most talented voice casts in all of anime, it's a show that you just need to see in Japanese.

OPM season 2 just felt like a step down in most areas for me, season 1 felt like a passion project whereas S2 just felt extremely meh in overall execution, particularly the animation. A lot of the fights in S2 that were memorable in the manga felt forgettable in the anime. Tbh, I felt like the author's other series Mob Psycho 100 was handled way better as far as its anime goes.
Serie is a character I'd loved to see explored more, being one of the few elves we've seen so far I just want to get more depth into how her views on the world differ from Frieren's. On that note I also want to see some more of Kraft, as far as the one-off characters in the season went he had to be one of the most memorable. With the way that the elves' long lifespans go, I do wonder if Frieren will eventually go down the path like To Your Eternity, where after Frieren's journey with Stark and Fern is over the story will continue on and we'll move on through centuries into the present day. Personally I hope the story ends when they reach Aureole and we are able to reach an emotional climax to Frieren's character development of understanding humans better.

I know, I was also shocked when I learned there's only been 4 double spreads in the entire post timeskip, I would've thought there would be one in Wano but there wasn't apparently. Hopefully Oda does more double spreads since we're in the final saga and there's going to be lots of momentous reveals coming up in the relatively near future.
It's wild to think about how exactly the final battle will go. There's going to be tons of players on both sides of the war, and knowing Oda he's going to try to bring in as many characters from the series as possible for it. I remember hearing that Oda said the final war would make Marineford look like a small filler arc in comparison which makes me excited for what's to come. I'm also just looking foward to all the separate parties meeting one another, like the Straw Hats meeting the Revolutionaries, Luffy reuniting with Shanks, etc.
Honestly I hope Oda doesn't rely on the clone stuff too much. The Seraphim and Stussy reveals were really cool but I feel like introducing the idea of clones has made fan theories worse because now everyone thinks that a certain character is another character's clone, or that a previously dead character will be brought back with a clone. However, I think your idea about the Holy Knight being related to Shanks is really interesting. I just want to learn more about Shanks as soon as possible, it's wild that he has only appeared in like 20 or less chapters total while also being so influential.

I think the current season is definitely better than the winter overall. As far as sequels go, Yuru Camp and Hibike Euphonium are the standouts for me. For continuing shows, Dungeon Meshi has been extremely enjoyable and has been my go-to fantasy of the season. For non-sequels, Jellyfish and Girls Band Cry may be my favorites.

haven't actually watched the anime for Shadows House cuz I heard the first season deviated quite a bit from the manga, so I just kept it at only that. Though, I've seen like 2 individual episodes of season 2 because it aired at the time I started reading it, and those were pretty good

yeah it's nice and all but having to wait for 1 or even 2 weeks more for the next episode kills me xD
based on a novel, but the anime and that are quite different from each other. Unfortunately, I can't find a complete translation of the novel I could get my hands on anywhere, so I have to postpone the plans of reading it at some point too to a later date, if ever...

yeah, makes sense, you've read it quite recently, relatively speaking. I started my re-read yesterday with the first 3 chapters and expect to end somewhere around Sunday or Monday, taking seasonal anime and other stuff into account.

Just noticed I forgot to mention Kaiju No. 8 in my last message, so yeah, I'm watching that one too.
Jellyfish is so far a really good anime, imo; it hits just the right spots it is supposed to to tug on my heartstrings, at least.

I can't exactly break off from MHA, either, no matter how much I might hate where it's going. It's been THE anime that has back then brought me back into the medium in the first place and also the very first manga I read, so I will have to see it through to the end.
It still has somewhat of a "special place in my heart", so to speak, but I'm just not having any expectations anymore....
worst thing imo is, that the ideas Horikoshi has DO sound good on paper, but it just completely lacks in execution on how it handles those things....

Hoshi no Samidare:
It took a while to get me invested and some of the supposed emotional moments are more or less hit or miss, but after I got into it at somewhere around the middle portion, it had me absolutely hooked, and the last few chapters are genuinely some of the best stuff I've read. You've probably seen by now, but I gave it an 8/10
Favorite points are the dead-pan dry humor and excellent development for the main character, especially in his dynamic together with the main girl Samidare herself.

It’s time to ditch the text file.
