'Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta' Reveals Main Cast, Staff, First Promo, Summer 2023 Premiere

The official website of the television anime adaptation of Koume Fujichika's Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta (The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses) manga revealed on Tuesday the main cast, staff, a promotional video, and a key visual (pictured). The anime series is set to broadcast in July 2023 on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS Asahi.

Masahiro Itou (Bokutachi no Remake) and Shion Wakayama (Lycoris Recoil) are starring as Kaede Komura and Ai Mie, respectively.

Fujichika began drawing the slice of life romance manga in Monthly Gangan Joker in November 2018. Square Enix published the tenth volume on January 20.

Square Enix Manga & Books licensed the manga in English in March 2022. The second volume went on sale on February 28, and the third volume is scheduled for a May 16 release.

1) I didn't actually say that anything with this new anime is plagiarized, it's just rumors for this came up FAST compared to Tokyo Babylon 2021

LoL bruh, reusing assets that you legally own is completely legal and literally every anime studio does that to some extent.
And those who "accuse" Mashima should be mocked and ridiculed.
And stock images' entire purpose is to be used for commercial purpose.

I personally don't care about the reused asset thing I'm of the "work smarter not harder" mindset in terms of being efficient so it's whatever not to mention practically everyone does it

All those shows are made by GoHands and are their property, so no plagiarism there.
Still, reusing assets is something everyone does. But for a literal PV, which is supposed to sell the show, this low effort is inexcusable.
There are rumors, that they are on the verge of bankruptcy and I can see why.
