According to the official website, a new project of Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor was announced to be launched next year. The title is "Soukyu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor ~Heaven And Earth~".

A Festum Gains Life.
It wanted to be a human.
Yes, to be a man named Minashiro Soushi.
That's why I'm here.

According to Habara Nobuyoshi's (the director of Fafner series) blog, XEBEC has already set to work on the new Fafner.

damn it can't wait for this 2nd season!!! not only the 1st season was nice, the ova was also nice n touching!!! n more, the tagline (below) make it more exciting!!!

hmm, I remember giving the series an ok, but I really loved the OVA...

oh well, I guess I'll watch it when it comes out....unless it turns into KazukixSoushi as the BL-implied picture suggests... where the hell is Maaya

HELL YEAH!!! Finally!!! Well let's just hope it's gonna be as great as the first serie. Cauze they didn't technically left room for a sequel. Hope it stands out!!
