A television anime adaptation of Sametarou Fukada's Konyaku Haki sareta Reijou wo Hirotta Ore ga, Ikenai Koto wo Oshiekomu: Oishii Mono wo Tabesasete Oshare wo Sasete, Sekaiichi Shiawase na Shoujo ni Produce! (Teaching the Young Lady I Picked Up Who Broke Off Her Engagement Things She Isn't Supposed to Do: Allowing Her to Eat Good Food, Dress Fashionably, and Making Her the Happiest Girl in the World!) light novel was announced by publishing company Shufu to Seikatsusha on Wednesday.

Fukada began writing the comedy fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in August 2019. Shufu to Seikatsusha began releasing the series with illustrations by Sakura Miwabe in March 2020 and published the third volume last July.

Ichiho Katsura began drawing a manga adaptation in Comic PASH! magazine in March 2020. Shufu to Seikatsusha shipped the fourth volume on February 2, with the fifth volume scheduled for release on September 2 (pictured right). The series has a cumulative 150,000 copies of its volumes in circulation.

Synopsis
Allen, a misanthropic wizard, lives deep within the forest. He is known as the "Demon Lord" and feared by those around him.

One day, while living his life as a hermit, he comes across a young girl named Charlotte who has collapsed in the forest. Despite being innocent, she was accused of evil deeds, had her engagement annulled, and was forced to flee her country.

When he heard that, Allen remembered the agony of being betrayed by a group he once thought was his companions. After hearing the story of the 17-year-old's exploitation, Allen decides, "I'll let her live in my mansion, and I'll teach her all sorts of bad things..."

Hoping the novel gets an English translation.

So many complaints about the length of the title, but I say it's not long enough! A paragraph-long title? Nay! Give me a whole college thesis for a title, cowards!

I can't really comment on the LN but I have read the manga adaptation and it's really good. From the last time I read it, it was about 25 chapters back in April, from those 25 it has been basically a slice-of-life manga. I usually detest S-O-Ls but I like this one.

Is this the longest title till date?

Oh, never mind.

Now that's a plot that would make for better hentai than this series is ever going to be.

They'll stop coming when people stop with cancer trash autistic as fucking hell places like tik-tok or twatter which is scientifically proven to damage attention spans required for reading. As well as also isekai inevitably falling off.

Longass LN titles well predate isekai. And this current trend comes from WN sites like syosetu, where making your synopsis into the title is almost a requirement for people to take notice of your work.

The manga is cute. It's basically about two betrayed people helping each other heal from their traumas and get better.

I refuse to watch an anime with such a long title.

Fun fact: The LN community has been hyping another long title isekai:

People in the LN community are discussing if Modern Villainess or Torture Princess is the best isekai while the whole anime community is hyping on Mushoku Tensei.

If someone can't come up with a proper title for their story, don't expect it to be anything but shit.

I don’t find this title weird or anything.

Yeah, I'm adding this to my PTW. Side question, what's the problem with long titles?

Sep 1, 2022 9:01 AM by Skwidee

The author of this needs to be shot on the grounds of taking a piss with this unnecessary and extremely long ass title

But other than that, the premise sounds very wholesome and it being a fantasy series is another plus in my book too

Always so. The editor of SAO and Index even bluntly justified this.
