LIDENFILMS don't have the best track record but I really hope they can pull this anime off. Hoping for the anime adaptation and overall animation quality to deliver given how much I love the manga. Should be an AOTY contender if executed well next year although I think there might be shows I prefer even to one of the better manga I've read and I'm not 100% confident yet in the staff involved for this adaptation.

Of all the studios I didn't want this to be adapted, it is Liden Films, and they've become the sub-standard version of the MAPPA sweatshop overwork: similar in quantity, but difference in quality.

Just had a wish fulfillment that to adapt this, studios like Shaft are what this beloved manga needs to have, but alas, one can only dream.

@NextUniverse I share your pain, IMMENSELY.

LIDENFILMS have around 9 animes announced..(not to mention the ones airing rn)

Sorry, but the animation on that PV looks cheap. You can clearly see it in the last scene (when they jump surprise at each other).

I'm still going to watch it, but I can't say I'm not disappointed with the general production values. Maybe if the overall cinematography was good, I would be inclined to be less disappointed, but... it isn't.

Still not a fan of Lidenfilms, but the PVs for Yofukashi no Uta and this look pretty nice.

Is Lidenfilms like only the existing anime studio currently? I don't know if they're trying to be the next A1 Pictures with nowhere the quality A1 produces lol

Lidenfilms peaked at Aiura.

Oh my goodness...

I am going to have to make a twitter account if this anime goes south (going to slander and harass them). But seriously, the PV isn't even all that bad, but that is just an optimistic outlook when I watched it. This seems to have been given to a bunch of small-time staff, but I think it might go better than expected and give them a bigger and better image in their career, but I am not sure. This looks like it is being treated as some "you everyday seasonal" which is sad but what can I do? Probably won't hype this up so much but looking forward to it anyway.

they didn't make berserk , they were just one of the producers ..

Visually it seems pretty nice so I'm still optimistic about this....2023 already looking great now between this and Vinland Saga S2

I'm not concerned about LIDENFILMS but I'm concerned about Pony Canyon.

Hopefully they'll do a good job adapting it.

Yay lidenfilms! The trailer looked really good I honestly like the studio everything they made looked good and it's so annoying how everyone over reacts about them

oh well umm lidenfilms? uhh

It's LIDENFILMS. Well atleast they made this anime like the way they did with Kanojo to Kanojo No Neko and Ryman's Club and I personally think that LIDENFILMS is improving their animation lately

PV looks somewhat half decent but I'm not a fan of lidenfilms.

This is going to either turn out good or they'll completely rush it idk the manga is a short read in my end.
