Publishing company Hayakawa Shobo announced an anime film each for Otono Yomoji's Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e (To All of You That I Loved) and Kimi wo Aishita Hitori no Boku e (To the Only Me Who Loved You) novels last Thursday. The films are planned for a 2022 opening.

Synopsis (Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e)
A world where it has been established that people routinely swing between slightly different parallel worlds...

Koyomi Takasaki, who lives with his mother following his parents' divorce, enrolls in a local university prep school. Due to the atmosphere concentrated on studies and his social awkwardness, Koyomi is unable to make friends. One day, he is suddenly approached by his classmate Kazune Takigawa, who tells him that she has travelled from the 85th world where she and Koyomi are lovers.

Synopsis (Kimi wo Aishita Hitori no Boku e)
A world where it has been established that people routinely swing between slightly different parallel worlds...

Koyomi Hidaka, who lives with his father following his parents' divorce, meets a girl named Shiori Satou at the research institute where his father works. They both have a little crush on each other, but everything changes when their parents remarry. Koyomi and Shiori, convinced that they will never be together, try to jump into another world where they won't be step-siblings... There's no meaning in a world without her.

Yomoji published both sci-fi romance novels, abbreviated as BokuAi and KimiAi, in June 2016. The novels have a cumulative 240,000 copies in circulation.

Hakomari??? No?
Well, this is also really interesting, it's the first time I've seen something like this, two movies of different perspectives (and perhaps stories) told and will be aired in the same time back-to-back. I hope this turns out really great

So instead of a high school girl telling the MC they are enemies during the 13118th time, it's somewhat the opposite... how nice

Looks like something I might like as well, hopefully

Will combination of Bokutachi no Remake & Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sotsu (exclude violence) because there are people who come back to life in a parallel world?

This shit has piqued my interest.

I will hopefully look forward to it. I love it when non-LNs get adaptations as they have a more "literary" plot.

Let me guess, Kazune and Shiori are the same person across parallel worlds because the love between them and Koyomi transcends dimensions, or something? That's the resolution that comes to mind straight away.

Not really into romance, but I like the idea of a story centred around intentional Mandela Slips. I'll give it a try.

Sounds interesting.

Are the two novels connected to each other in a more concrete way ? That is, do the characters from both novels meet each other during their multiverse spanning love story ?

Also, are the novels any good ? This seems like something that should be good but is let down by poor characters and writing.

I wonder how this would be. It seems mildly interesting as well as mildly cringey (especially second synopsis).

Well I will wait and see how this will turn out

I might give it a try. Anyone who has read the novel, how is it?
