'BanG Dream!' Spin-off Anime 'Pastel Life' Announced

A Nico Live broadcast of BanG Dream! franchise on Monday has announced a spin-off anime featuring one of the units in the franchise, Pastel*Palettes. Titled Pastel Life, the slice-of-life series is yet to announce its type and broadcast details.

Aya Maruyama: Ami Maeshima (Shuwarin☆Dorimin)
Hina Hikawa: Ari Ozawa (Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun)
Chisato Shirasagi: Sumire Uesaka (Isekai Shokudou)
Eve Wakamiya: Sawako Hata (Konohana Kitan)
Maya Yamato: Ikumi Nakagami (the Girls & Panzer series)

Created by Bushiroad, the Japanese media franchise began in January 2015 as a two-volume manga series written by Aya Ishida published under Monthly Bushiroad. It was then followed by multiple manga series, anime adaptations ranging from TV series to a special episode produced by studio Xebec and Issen, and web radios. Additionally, Craft Egg developed the BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! smartphone rhythm game that was launched in March last year.

Sentai Filmworks has licensed the TV anime series for North American distribution.

Starting today on May 17, aired within Bandori! TV. 3 mins. per ep. and 6 eps. total. Bandori Channel will also make the ep. available.

No. I think this is more of for people who are a fan of the mobile game which includes this group apart from the main one.

Chibi is a huge turnoff for me, but I'll take whatever BanG Dream content I can get. I'm just hoping they release a full-fledged series on Afterglow or Roselia next.

I wonder how much Eve will say Bushido here. And how much Hina will mention her Onee-chan.

Anyway since Popipa origin story as is what anime cover getting added to the game I hope the same thing can go backward with other band origin story getting anime. Pastell*Pallete have the best out of them.
