'BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!' Anime Announced for Summer 2023

The official website of the BanG Dream! project announced a new anime series titled BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! on Sunday, revealing the main cast, staff, the opening theme, and a teaser visual (pictured above). The anime series is set to premiere in Summer 2023.

The opening theme song is "Hitoshizuku."

The new anime series will focus on the story of the MyGO!!!!! band in the BanG Dream! franchise. Bushiroad announced the formation of the band in April 2022. The band released their debut single "Mayoi Uta" in November 2022.

The first television anime of the multimedia franchise, abbreviated as Bandori, was produced by Xebec and Issen in Winter 2017. A second season by SANZIGEN premiered in Winter 2019, followed by a third season in Winter 2020. The BanG Dream!: Poppin' Dream! movie, taking place after the third season, opened in Japan in January 2022.

The BanG Dream! Film Live and BanG Dream! Film Live 2nd Stage anime movies premiered in September 2019 and August 2021. The Episode of Roselia movies—Yakusoku and Song I Am., opened in theaters in April and June of 2021.

I love that they add separate groups instead of riveting new shows about completely new generations of characters like in LL. But something still makes me uncomfortable.

I didn't think that MyGO!! would have an anime!! I thought they were just gonna be their own media space so I'm delighted to see they'll actually have a show!!
Excited to see Sanzigen work their magic again <3

The new band does not seem like something up my alley. I would have preferred something more metal. But will watch it anyway. RaS are still the best out of the bunch.

Hmmm I kinda lost interest with Bang dream for a while but this one got one of my favorite seiyuu in there I guess I'll check it out
